BLUF: For anyone who hasn't watched it I recommend up to Ep 16 after that go with the
manga because the rest will just disappoint. I really wanted to like Blue Exorcist, I was hooked on this after the first episode and even though it simmered down a bit for a few episodes (6 & 11) I still looked forward to watching every week. After ep 16 it started to move away from the manga and not in a good way. After ep 18 there was just no coming back and I could tell it wasn't going to go in a way I would like.
