Both are episodic shows mainly focused on "healing" someone new each episode. Very different tones and settings, but if you enjoy one I could see you liking the other.

Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden

As a child, Violet was used by the military as a weapon because of her combat prowess. Her one friend and protector was Major Gilbert, who named the girl, taught her how to speak and write, and cared for her. But after being seriously injured in the war, losing both arms in the process, Violet is brought to the Evergarden household to recuperate. There, she trains to become an Auto Memories Doll: a person who writes letters for others, deciphering their true feelings and expressing it on paper. As Violet travels the world, she helps her clients find love and comfort through the letters she writes; but more importantly, she slowly begins to understand emotions, so that she can finally cope with what she’s done, and what she’s lost.

The main character travels by walk most of the time, carrying with them a piece of luggage containing their tools of the trade for a very particular profession. They are mostly expressionless and take their job very seriously, no matter who it is that requires their services, most of the time it feels like they are just wandering, and meeting customers is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. They also lost a part of their body after an incident when they were young and this somehow has influenced their abilities to perform.

Suzume

Suzume

Suzume’s journey begins in a quiet town in Kyushu when she encounters a young man who tells her, “I’m looking for a door.” What Suzume finds is a single weathered door standing upright in the midst of ruins as though it was shielded from whatever catastrophe struck. Seemingly drawn by its power, Suzume reaches for the knob… Doors begin to open one after another all across Japan, unleashing destruction upon any who are near. Suzume must close these portals to prevent further disaster.

The plot of Suzume felt very much like an episode of Mushi-shi, if it were some sort of 2-hour-long special episode.

I've been looking for that itch for more that Mushishi left me with for years and this show finally did it for me. Both have that solemn but thoughtful melancholy feel as they take you through the journey of their protagonist encountering struggles with the supernatural and working through ways to get through it. There's also a strong nature element in both that reflect unknown forces beyond the understanding of humans.

Somali and the Forest Spirit

Somali and the Forest Spirit

In a world where the ruined human species has been driven almost to extinction by the monsters that now dominate the land, a forest golem is surprised to find a human child sitting alone in the woods - dirty, barefoot, and in chains. The golem takes little Somali under his protection and the two begin a journey together, traveling through beautiful and dangerous lands where the small girl's humanity must be kept hidden for her own safety. The golem hopes to find Somali's parents alive somewhere, but the chances of this are slim; and besides, as far as Somali is concerned, she has already found herself a beloved father.

They're both atmospheric anime with chill vibes but often dark subject matter. Somali and the Forest Spirit has more or a through plot line but otherwise they have similar vibes.
