i first heard about the seven deadly sins manga, as it is one of the most popular from shonen jump right now. But i was actually quite surprised when starting the anime.
The story: it is actually quite simple. Animes revolving around knights, princesses, demons and monsters are quite popular. But TSDS felt quite like a breath of fresh air. We got some twists and turns, mysteries, a good world concept and pretty strong narrative that just amplified the mechanism of the universe. Something that a lot of shonen series lacks of
the animation: i heard a lot of my friends complaining about TSDS art style. but personally, i think it's one of the best art i've seen in anime. Sure, because it's beautiful, but on the other hand, i think it's mostly because of how original it is: soft faces, weirdly beautiful eyes, characters always blushing, interesting color palets. the art is more on the soft side than the regular side, and i ain't complaining. The animation for the fight scenes, the face expressions are beautifully executed. I'm not surprised coming from one of the most popular anime studios, A-1 picture
side note: the season 3 lacks of in terms of animation because of the sudden change of studios, but if you enjoy the story you'll get past throught it (like i did)
the sounds: beautiful. The japanese VA are good (like always,#astaxption), the ops are killing it. idk about the Ed but i'm pretty sure they are good also
the characters: ..../ actually, TSDS characters are love or hate. Maysbe that's why many anime fans dropped the anime. But i personally really enjoyed the characters. i don't really have a problem with them (the MC's)
overall: a wall deserved 9/10
