First Thoughts Land of the Lustrous (LoL) reminds me of this show called Steven Universe. It tempted me to pick up where I left off. Some of my favorite stories are ones with a categorical group of characters. There are many gemstones (the main protagonists) for people to pick and choose from. Great movie by MADHOUSE. Definitely a classic tale of miracles and coincidences. However, the ending does not give enough closure. It'll have you asking questions like "That's it?"

Attack on Titan still makes the same mistakes it has been producing since 2013. Bad The characters keep explaining things after and as they happen — either in their head or in a flashback. The series is starting to get better, but they keep making major mistakes. I really want to like Attack on Titan, yet it keeps disappointing me. I very much enjoyed Parasyte -the maxim-, and I would recommend this to anyone. Good It is like I truly felt like the main character. At one point, I hated Kana with my right hand, but I liked her with my left hand. When Mitsuo confronted Shinichi after Kana’s death, I shed a tear through my right eye only, but my left had a tear on the break of being let go. That's what I'm talking about! No regerts is better than season one! The plot moved faster and better than the main series. There were not that many pathetic characters — if there were, they probably died... hehe. There is more gore in this OVA than the entire season. I was so tired of seeing blacked out parts or less-revealing angles. I want to see some severed heads with fear and dirt in their eyes! I want to see a head explode, and entrails dangle! Drags on way too long. Many of the characters develop terribly. So many irritating voices and people — mostly the females. Phenomenal first 17 or so episodes. Love the extreme facial expressions, but the gag got old and dull after the first half of this series.

This is unfinished but mediocre for what it is worth. The art style for the characters looks uncanny compared to the background. When the action is not hot, it looks like a storyboard animation. I can barely tell what the plot is besides retrieving some creature; they could have started from a better point. Especially not in the MIDDLE of an erratic action scene. How am I supposed to feel empathy for the characters when I have no fucking idea who they are? Wth is exactly going on? I feel as if there is more to this. Hopefully future episodes make sense of this mess.

This film almost turned me vegan. Damn hoomans. No one learned their lesson, except the audience. What was the point?

It's like Hunter x Hunter......but worse. As soon as I saw what Torka looked like, I dropped this anime harder than divorce papers. Welcome to Black Lagoon, where everyone has infinite ammo, the enemies have stormtrooper aim, no one can get lung cancer, and the director just said whatever to the plot. Such a lovely anime meets all your needs: incest, pedophilia, panty shots, heavy-duty plot armor, and senseless dialogue...

Didn't think I'd do it but here is my Code Geass review so far... It is quite annoying and redundant how they keep cutting everytime it looks like someone is going to die If someone "dies" they come back as a completely different character I went into this anime with high expectations but that was a fatal mistake  Episode 19 was an example of terrible pacing catching up to itself — a complete nonsensical information overload. Time to split from Jojo's until further notice, let's do this Dr. Stone review! The plot and themes are quite intriguing. When you get fucked up by enemies stronger than you = Goblin Slayer in a nutshell. *emphasis on that fourth word, sprinkle a bit of ecchiness in there to lighten the mood and you have yourself a proper starter kit seinen series. On a serious note, I recommend that you be mentally, physically, politically, and sexually mature before viewing Goblin Slayer.

The first episode was too much, but the last two are adequate. I recommend watching this if you're pressed for time, then watch the full series later on. You’re welcome 😉 

I don't know why some people despise the 90s and 2000 Jojo's compared to the 2010s Jojo's. These OVA are quite enjoyable. The strategic plays in this series are perfect for this style.
