First Thoughts Land of the Lustrous (LoL) reminds me of this show called Steven Universe. It tempted me to pick up where I left off. Some of my favorite stories are ones with a categorical group of characters. There are many gemstones (the main protagonists) for people to pick and choose from. I was surprised by how engrossed I became with the art style. Story The plot's pacing is relatively good. Some may be turned off by the first two episodes, but any exposition takes a while to get through. Plus, it was fun learning about the different gemstones, principles, and scenery. A... Great movie by MADHOUSE. Definitely a classic tale of miracles and coincidences. However, the ending does not give enough closure. It'll have you asking questions like "That's it?"
See full reviewAttack on Titan still makes the same mistakes it has been producing since 2013. Bad The characters keep explaining things after and as they happen — either in their head or in a flashback. Not everything needs to be explained! This excess dialogue is slowing the plot down. I have to admit; I want to know what characters are thinking before they die. However, Attack on Titan rarely does this. Why did it seem like the Beast Titan knew about baseball when Attack on Titan takes place in 400 something C.E? ....... Attack on Titan’s art style has always been weird. The Colossal Titan and the... See full review
The series is starting to get better, but they keep making major mistakes. I really want to like Attack on Titan, yet it keeps disappointing me. Bad After watching season two and three episodes of season three, I realized that I am not too fond of the short piss-stained hair chick. Her voice is unpleasant; she is a Mary Sue, some other characters see her as a goddess, and she only gets attention because she is what the series is fundamentally about (which is not a good thing). Why do they balance the weight of the series on two characters? Main character does not mean most important character... See full review
I very much enjoyed Parasyte -the maxim-, and I would recommend this to anyone. Good It is like I truly felt like the main character. At one point, I hated Kana with my right hand, but I liked her with my left hand. When Mitsuo confronted Shinichi after Kana’s death, I shed a tear through my right eye only, but my left had a tear on the break of being let go. They say when someone cries and the first drop comes from the right eye, it indicates happiness. When a tear comes from the left first, it indicates pain. It is like I was happy but holding back pain. I really like the... See full review
I am very disappointed with this season. Bad It has been four years, and they still could not come up with a better intro. It has been four years, and they still could not fix Mikasa's atrocious character design. Mikasa reminds me of that video where the dude asks a woman why she looks 50 or something when she’s in her 20s. Mikasa looks like she’s been through more menstrual cycles than a typical teenager. She looks like she wakes up with a tight stiffness in her back. She looks like she drinks prune juice and wine because she can’t decide if she’s... See full review
That's what I'm talking about! No regerts is better than season one! The plot moved faster and better than the main series. There were not that many pathetic characters — if there were, they probably died... hehe. There is more gore in this OVA than the entire season. I was so tired of seeing blacked out parts or less-revealing angles. I want to see some severed heads with fear and dirt in their eyes! I want to see a head explode, and entrails dangle! This was a great addition to the main story. Levi is an interesting character, and I am glad they explored his past in an appropriate manner. I... See full review
*Pictures Spoiler Warning, only at the end Good When the action is heavy, there is a lot of nice, fluid animation. The inside-out look of some titans looks nifty. Amazing voice actors and performances all around (I watched this season in Japanese). This season is filled with crazy good sound effects and visual effects. Many people died, some spared for the plot; still, important figures die. The viewer may develop a fetish after witnessing "some things." The ranking system and military code are done well — to a certain extent. Some characters look... See full review
THIS ANIME KINDA BLOWS. The main villain (Major) carried the absolute FUCK out of Hellsing Ultimate. Alucard sucks Integra sucks Police Girl sucks Old Walter sucks Young Walter rules Anderson rules They talk too damn much (except Major, his dialogue lifted this anime out of dog shit) Just can not let a character die in peace Alucard is an impostor. He is like a little kid playing monster on Halloween night. Real talk, Police Girl is a plague on this series. She is the sum of everything wrong with most Shonen anime. Replace Police Girl, bring some original characters (and OSTs) back, change... See full review
WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL! I do not see why this anime gets so much praise, and I am sure the manga is just as overrated. BIG SPOILERS-FREE REVIEW; CONTINUE READING IF YOU THINK ABOUT WATCHING BESERK POINT ONE Why on earth did it take nearly 23 episodes for the show to catch up to the first episode? The pacing felt god awful. Towards the end, I skipped through a bunch of stuff. There was an entire episode based on the main character (Guts) leaving his gang. Why did we need an entire episode for that? POINT TWO Why is there one depressing song playing in every episode? Do they not have anything... See full review
This show kinda garbage; I don't see what the hype is about. Not wasting anymore time with this anime. If you value your life, do not watch Tokyo Ghoul. Biggest drawbacks: Lousy characters Boring and ill-conceived plot
See full reviewWooooooOOOooo. I've been itching with anticipation to do this review!!! For starters, Akame ga Kill! (AGK) almost made it out with a 4/5 star rating. Someone recommended AGK to me, and they said not to get too attached to characters. THEY WILL DIE. This is the truth, but I foolishly got too attached to perhaps the best female anime character ever: Esdeath 😍😍😍 Now that the intro's over, let's get to the main course! THE GOOD AGK is not afraid to kill characters. The most realistic thing you can do with storytelling is to convey death! From the beginning, we are told... See full review
Drags on way too long. Many of the characters develop terribly. So many irritating voices and people — mostly the females. Phenomenal first 17 or so episodes. Love the extreme facial expressions, but the gag got old and dull after the first half of this series.
See full reviewThis is unfinished but mediocre for what it is worth. The art style for the characters looks uncanny compared to the background. When the action is not hot, it looks like a storyboard animation. I can barely tell what the plot is besides retrieving some creature; they could have started from a better point. Especially not in the MIDDLE of an erratic action scene. How am I supposed to feel empathy for the characters when I have no fucking idea who they are? Wth is exactly going on? I feel as if there is more to this. Hopefully future episodes make sense of this mess.
See full reviewThis film almost turned me vegan. Damn hoomans. No one learned their lesson, except the audience. What was the point?
See full reviewFranks;Gayte review here we go... normally I don't start reviews 2 episodes in an anime BUT God damn, am I ready to drop this series (spoilers, I did) I only wanted to keep watching it because I assumed it was going to get better HOWEVER The horrid art style and the annoying voices/characters will remain 😫😩😫 This show will forever be known for having such a magnificently shitty start. TROUBLE DIEING?, then start watching the first episodes of Franks;Gayte ALSO why are there so many females, is this a fucking Harem? sausage fests > taco tuesdays If I have to... See full review
It's like Hunter x Hunter......but worse. As soon as I saw what Torka looked like, I dropped this anime harder than divorce papers. The art style does not suit me, some of the voice performances are irritating, Rico is a burden (with little to no redeemable qualities), and Reg IS NOT A GODT DAMN ROBOT, HE IS A BLOODY CYBORG, ANDROID, METAHUMAN (what ever the you call it) EXTREMELY interesting concept, MEDIOCRE to SUBPAR execution MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN PISS MADE IN... absolute garbage do not waste your valuable time watching this pathetic excuse of a series. beyond nonsensical, far from entertaining, pretty good animation

Like the main series, this side story started off fairly well and it drug out too many scenes.
However, the ending is pretty garbage. Also, The main characters and storylines seem like rehashed ideas from the original show.
I am very very very disappointed in this work.
Never have I had the urge to skip so much and feel so unattached from the characters. I wouldn't call them characters, more like... See full review
Welcome to Black Lagoon, where everyone has infinite ammo, the enemies have stormtrooper aim, no one can get lung cancer, and the director just said whatever to the plot. Such a lovely anime meets all your needs: incest, pedophilia, panty shots, heavy-duty plot armor, and senseless dialogue...
See full reviewThe two main things that bring this anime down is the plot and character development Assassination Classroom is an excellent example of an interesting concept with terrible execution They have so many characters and not enough episodes or logic to develop each one fully It seems like a new fucking classmate pops up every couple of episodes yet they were there from the beginning Each person does not progress; their abilities are handed to them for the sake of plot The plotline is a plot hole lot of issues. 19 episodes in and I can barely remember anything from the first... Things to know before watching this: One of the main characters has the most annoying voice ever, it is obnoxiously loud, whiny, and cracks a lot — the person may be a minor and a female.... although, it should be illegal for someone to sound this God damn irritating Another main character has such a great voice actor, I mean a really awesome performance The two points above apply to the dub, so watch the sub if you prefer to give up a great and terrible voice performance. However, I have no clue what the japanese voices sound like. There is far too much blushing in this... See full review
Episode 11 sums up most faultiness of this entire series. Although, I would like to list the things that really brought this anime down. The art style is not that refreshing, neither the animation Code Geass dragged on for so long, it went back and forth — repeatedly using the same plot There is no need for 50 episodes, 20-28 would have been sufficient The creator(s) undermines a lot of realistic details regarding the military and the art of war Provocative content, senseless romances, untimely deaths, and side characters are a few examples of the many distractions from... Didn't think I'd do it but here is my Code Geass review so far... It is quite annoying and redundant how they keep cutting everytime it looks like someone is going to die If someone "dies" they come back as a completely different character I went into this anime with high expectations but that was a fatal mistake Episode 19 was an example of terrible pacing catching up to itself — a complete nonsensical information overload. It seems that the "ending" was rushed As it stands, I am more interested in finding out why Nina is hated so much rather than this faulty... See full review
Time to split from Jojo's until further notice, let's do this Dr. Stone review! The plot and themes are quite intriguing. Makes you question reality and mortality pretty often. A few turn offs for the series: the openings excessively long storylines rehashed plots the episodes starting with a recap the god forsaken female faces (though stylistic, it is quite obnoxious) the characters seem kind of flat and basic I love the science behind this series, I am learning a lot. Also, it made me realize that science is a universal subject — combining mathematics, history, literature... See full review
Time for a new Jojo's review! Ok Blow in the Wind less dew this! Here's what I have so far: Feel like I'm watching this anime for its stands and art style — not the things that matter like plot, themes, character growth, and et cetera Need some new stuff to the table, the gimic is getting older faster than Gintama's plot I got Fight Club vibes from this and I'm absolutely loving it The protagonists motives seem oddly unjustified or inaccurate? The men among Blow in the Wind are hot enough to turn a gay woman straight My ratings are not final until I finish this season
See full reviewAlright, Diamond Is Breakable review It took so long for the end goal to surface unlike previous seasons The second OP is damn near garbage One of the main characters (Koioochie) blabs and yells way too much Roughly 2/3rds through Diamond is Breakable, the main villain got away in such an illogical manner The show gets somewhat better towards the tail end Time and time again, Josuke will turn the tide of battle with the same move (returning an object back to its original state) The climax was interesting (the resolution was ironically anticlimactic) yet not enough to... When you get fucked up by enemies stronger than you = Goblin Slayer in a nutshell. *emphasis on that fourth word, sprinkle a bit of ecchiness in there to lighten the mood and you have yourself a proper starter kit seinen series. On a serious note, I recommend that you be mentally, physically, politically, and sexually mature before viewing Goblin Slayer.

See full reviewI don't know why some people despise the 90s and 2000 Jojo's compared to the 2010s Jojo's. These OVA are quite enjoyable. The strategic plays in this series are perfect for this style.
