Lychee DE Light Club

Apr 20, 2018

Well... I'm not entirely sure what I just watched but it's somehow reminiscent of Gag Manga Biyori, which, in itself, was strange enough. I managed to watch the whole thing and grew increasingly more confused as I watched but somehow, those red, luscious lips drew my attention. Oh so luscious... But as I was saying, I don't know what happened and somehow, I don't mind.

Corpse Party: Missing Footage

Apr 18, 2018

Well, I will admit I'm glad I decided to watch the censored version instead. Usually I'm not terrible with blood or gore but somehow, the screams alone made me feel nauseous. Judging from other reviews on here, since I'm terrible with anything that involves piercing of the eyes, I am even happier I chose the censored version. It was odd and seems inconsistent. The opening involved a few minutes of screaming, blood, gushing noises and an extremely unsettling vibe. However, a few minutes later, they cut to a younger sister practically begging her brother to let her wash him, and then yet another pair of... See full review

The World Yamizukan

Apr 14, 2018

I honestly wanted to like this, I really did. But my first thought when I saw the first episode was what the actual what? The animation was pretty terrible, the story was bad and I was left more confused than when I started it. But let me explain. The idea of The World Yamizukan is that it's a collection of short horror stories, complete with either animation or pictures. Most run about five minutes, so it's a good choice if you want something to fill your spare time, but terrible if you want something worthwhile to fill that time. I'm going to reiterate what I said before - it's terrible. When there is... See full review

Ao Oni The Animation Movie

Apr 12, 2018

I honestly don't know why I watched this. Perhaps because I'd just finished Ao Oni ~ the Animation that I thought, you know what? Let's give the movie a try. The anime was cute and funny, so let's see how the movie shall be. I regretted that decision. Immediately, you are greeted by a 3D animation, and not even a good one. The mouths are out of sync, the faces, if they aren't bland and unmemorable, look kind of terrifying (I realised why this was considered a horror, though I don't think it's the same reasons they wanted... My Neighbor Totoro

Mar 11, 2017

My Neighbour Totoro: definitely adorable. I watched it for the first time today, with mildly high expectations, and I can honestly say I do not know what I was actually expection. The movie was a little odd and confusing, though it was definitely too cute. Admittedly, the characters (Mei and Satsuki) did irritate me a little with the amount of yelling they did throughout the film - I currently have a headache from it - but nonetheless, they were definitely cute. The music was beautiful, as was the animation and even from that alone, I'd recommend watching it. Every part of it I enjoyed - except the story... See full review
