At the start of the season, I didn't really want to watch Kemono Jihen. The synopsis didn't seem that interesting to me and I already had a list of other shows I wanted to watch. However, when I heard some friends of mine mention they thought it was going to be good, I decided to give it a shot. I could always drop it after a couple of episodes if didn't end up being my thing. I'm really glad I decided to give this show a watch. It was really good. One thing I loved about it is the characters. I love the character designs and their personalities are enticing. I especially liked Kon and don't think she got... See full review
When I first found this show, I didn't expect to enjoy it that much, but it seemed interesting enough. The characters were all likable, even if they didn't have much depth or development from how I saw it. It was fun to watch Tomozaki struggle and improve slowly as he went! The opening was pretty fun and the animation was good. I don't have any complaints or many things that really stood out to me as fantastic, so I don't have much to say about this anime. It's good. Some of the episodes (don't ask me which ones, I am so bad at remembering which episodes were which) were captivating and really drew you in... See full review
I have such mixed feelings about this season that I wasn't sure what I wanted to rate this, but I knew I wanted to write a review. Even now, I keep reconsidering the numbers I've put down. It's hard. As a manga reader, I'm as disappointed as the next guy about what was cut. However, I'm not going to go on about that the whole time, because I'm sure everyone else already has. "Read the manga" and "the manga was better" have already been said loads of times in these reviews, I'm sure. I'm going to try to focus on what I enjoyed from this season. I will be trying not to spoil anything... See full review
Not a fantastic show, but not bad either. I didn't look forward to watching it each week, but the episodes were entertaining enough, even if I did fall behind at one point because I couldn't bring myself to put it on again. The characters didn't have much depth to them and can each be summarized in a few words, but I didn't expect much on that side of things. The music wasn't bad, but I consistently skipped the ending because it got annoying pretty quickly. This show gives you exactly what you might expect from something like this, and no more. There were some funny moments here and there. The thing I... See full review
My favourite Re:Zero part so far, I had a lot of fun watching it! I'm not going to be saying much that's unique or new in this review, but I still wanted to get my thoughts down. I absolutely loved this part of Re:Zero. Even though Rem is still asleep and shows no signs of waking (sad), we got to learn a ton more about other characters. Otto was one who got his fair share of screentime and character development in the second season, which I loved. And he wasn't the only one! Since there weren't as many big, world-changing things happening in this season, Subaru didn't have to use his return by death powers... See full review
After watching the first episode, I had high hopes for this show. The concept was interesting, the characters showed promise and the world had endless possibilities. The music and visuals looked pretty good, as well. However, as the weeks went on, I began to feel disappointed with where it was going. Not much was happening. While new characters were introduced now and then, it didn't feel like the story was going anywhere. One of the big goals from the start was to find Toriko's friend Satsuki, but twelve episodes later it doesn't seem like they've moved at all. One of the reasons I was drawn in was the... Short and sweet. The 7-minute episodes make it easy to complete it within a day or two, and it's worth it to take some time and watch it. It's told from Daru's perspective, yet it was done really well. Many western films or media narrated by pets don't turn out too well, whether it be not getting as much of the human's life, or being too stereotypical of an animal, or making cliche observations that make you want to stop watching. This short anime does it well. It's very simple, with a charming style and good voice acting. It isn't the kind of show that will make you on the edge of your seat the whole... See full review
This was incredible. It's been on my list for a while, glad I watched it. I didn't expect to be in for such an emotional ride. I had glanced for a moment at the top reviews before watching, and I saw that one advised keeping tissues on hand. I chose not to. I've never cried over an anime before, why would I this time? Boy, I was wrong. The whole movie was truly beautiful. From the art style to the OST to the plot and voice actors and characters, I was in awe for the entire time. Definitely going to be recommending it to friends and watching it again in the future. Spoilers, somewhat // Kind of felt like a... See full review
I see complaints here about the lack of plot. Personally, I think that's one of the factors that makes Blend S such a great show. It's the kind of show that I would pick up and watch whenever I had a lot on my mind and just wanted to escape to another world to clear my head. Nothing about it is too in-depth or complex, which means thinking and analyzing is unnecessary. It's funny and lighthearted, the girls are cute and the concepts are entertaining. Would recommend!
See full reviewI first started watching this show because the plot seemed pretty cool from the description. I got into it but didn't actually get that moment where it clicked until episode nine. The characters are pretty cool, in some aspects. They have depth and the relationships between them add another layer of interest. The graphics are appealing. Yet there's one major reason why I wouldn't recommend this to friends. There isn't much to the plot. It's paced very slowly, much too slowly in my opinion. I didn't expect nearly the entire show to be about Steel Lady Nanase. Every event that happened was stretched over... See full review
