"Anime that over-sexualizes women" - controversial enough for people to start giving this anime terrible marks. But don't let the low ratings fool you. This story is really interesting to watch, see how the characters learn about emotions and their past. The arcs are great, and while it might take a few episodes to get into, you really won't regret it. This anime isn't so much about fighting and mechs but more of a romance, which I didn't expecct but liked. The futuristic setting is great, but unexpectedly depressing after you find out what life is like in the future. Animation isn't his anime's best part, but the episode arrangement is truly great. They say that the ending is rushed, but it felt like it was at the right pace for this series. And it wasn't sad at all. Just a bit maybe, but the new world they built is definitely better than than the one they lived in. Characters are greatly designed, and each has a great arc of their own. They all grow, and find out new things. Voice acting is the best I have seen so far.
In simple words: If you're new to anime in general, don't listen to the reviews or others people's opinions. You will like this one a lot, trust me. Solid, 8.5/10
