[Minor Spoilers]

This is like two stories mixed into one - a drama between the real and fake daughters of a rich and well respected family (yes, the same plot you've read a million times, time travel and crossdressing edition) where the mc captures the heart of one of the richest, most powerful, and handsome bachelors around, and an action story where the mc travels back to the past with knowledge of the apocalypse that's going to happen, storing food and supplies in her space pocket, and becoming a part of the group that later establishes the most powerful base. There's also hints of a third story, a xianxia with spirit beasts and rare tonics.

It works decently well, but sometimes you run into weird situations like the mc wearing flowing dresses and people fawning over her beauty (and the ML kneeling down and calling her his queen in the middle of a bunch of people, which... what. My heart was filled with so much cringe you guys don't even want to know.) in the middle of a forest filled with man eating monsters, which she then proceeds to fight while wearing a floor length dress? Idk, man.

Things I don't like:

The MC's reasons for some of the actions she takes sometime seem flimsy. Like, 'oh I won't take my revenge yet because they have a powerful backer'. Girl, it's the middle of the apocalypse and they haven't even met up yet, it would be really easy to just follow your family and kill them while they're on the road?

Her and the ML's characterisation wavers between being ruthless or not (usually ruthless). It seems like whether or not she leaves people to die depends on her mood, tbh.

There's kind of a misogynist and homophobic undertone sometimes while at the same time not? When it's a villainess that wants to dress up and look pretty, it's vanity that you should be scornful of. Of course, the MC is naturally the most beautiful person around. It seems like every group of villains comes with a scheming woman who falls madly in lust, or is used to being doted on and is offended by the MC's arrogance, and a man who's been fooled by this white lotus's acting.

That's not to say that there's not any male villains, of course. There's a lot of minor villains in general; it really seems like the MC encounters one every time she goes outside.

There's also lot of jokes about being gay, some of them harmless while some of them carrying the undertone of 'actually being gay would be horrible!'. Then again, the ML falls in love with the MC regardless of gender.

The MC was 20 before she time traveled back into her 16 years old body, and the ML was originally five years older than her. There's one kiss when she's 16 (and he didn't know that she had time traveled) if that skeeves you out. They get together when she's 20 though.

If you're looking for a story with a strong female lead, some action action, and you have a tolerance for drama, this is for you. If the work I describe doesn't seem like something you'd be interested in or you're looking for some kind of profound work, then you should probably go look for something else.
