Haha nice! Yeah, the only people who I live with who like to watch anime don't really marathon things... Usually my older brother will watch a couple episodes and then want to do something outside which makes slow going for anything I try to watch with him. My younger brother, while very willing to marathon, will only marathon a series before ever going back to watching an anime with me again(part of this is his age though... and I don't want him to be watching a ton of fanservice things...). So I never really have anyone to watch with, though it's fun when I do :)

Aw, but we need to see Fai's backstory! :( I almost watched Tsubasa with my little brother before I had read more into the manga and then decided it was getting a little too violent for (at the time) a 8(ish) year old and stopped. He was enjoying +Anime at the time so I wanted to show him another... 

Haha nice! Anytime I try to cut down my to-watch list I end up adding about ten more shows to every one I miss (and this is probably too low an estimate).

I've never heard of those anime, but they sound pretty cool. I really pretty much always open to recommendations... although I can't promise when I'll actualy be able to start watching them >.<

Yeah, since I always have something to watch, and if I'm not watching, to draw, write, read, or have a softball game to play, I never really have anytime to watch long shows unless I started with them.

I never actually watched Tsubasa, but I read the manga. It actually made me fall in love with CLAMP and their works then I already was >.<

Wait, did the authors also write Durarara!? No wonder they seem pretty alike! I actually had Durarara!! on my list of to-watch because of it. (Though that list is way to long >.<)

I kinda love sports anime(though I used to mostly avoid them as I like to play sports more than watch them) mostly due to how serious they always get over things. I know that with anime and manga, emotions are usually over done for comedic effect, but it still amuses me just how overboard the character's emotions and abilites get. >.<

Hmmm... If your looking for something to watch with some deep theme exploration, then maybe you'd like Kino's Journey as it depicts different facets of humanity and each episode contains a different idea or theme. It is very similar to Mushishi if you know this series. I also personally really enjoyed Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu which came out just last season. It's also getting a second season soonish. Sorry, I know you didn't really ask for recommendations but I couldn't help myself >.<

Haha yeah. I've heard a lot of good things about characters and plot and stuff in longer running shows... but I usually decide I'd rather watch a lot of good series that are short, than watch something 700 episodes long. >.< 

I don't really have a favorite type of show... I'll watch anything (except hentai stuff). Though I'd have to say my favorite show(while hard to choose) would probably have to go to Baccano. With Magi, and more coming close (check out my favorites list if you want to for more(though I'm still finishing off reasons... >.>))
