I'm such a dumbass, I sent this reply to MYSELF and didn't even notice. A+ for brain power there.
Nanami has an awesome duel outfit. I'm sure the right cosplayer could pull it off but I certainly couldn't xD (For characters that are supposedly 14 years old, they're drawn to look about 17 or 18 xD). Nanami's a hilariously bitchy character, to the point where you can't help but be rather fond of her (and it's not like she doesn't get her comuppence in the filler epsiodes xD) Plus, who doesn't love SEBASTIAN DIOR COWBELL?
And I've always had a massive sore spot for Shiori. I completely understand hating her and she is an awful person but man... I could only ever feel sorry for her. I thought with the exception of Anthy and maybe Juri, she was one of the most tragic characters and probably the most pitiful. I guess I just feel too sorry for her to dislike her.
Attack on titan's voice acting does have moments of brilliance (armin's speech, sasha's comic timing, etc.) but I could still see the dub improving some aspects of it. And you're right, Death Note's japanese dub is perfect but the dub is fantastic as well so I'd still advise giving it a shot. The only voice I prefer in dub is L's. It's just sounds more natural to me. But there are many dubs which I think far surpass their japanese counterparts (examples include cowboy bebop, wolf's rain, FMA, Trigun, etc).
And give Rei and Nagisa their own show. They both need and deserve it. Best characters. Now that I think about it, do you ever realise that the original Rei and Nagisa were pretty much like the Timon and Pumba from the lion king of the show? xD I don't know, the thought just popped into my head.
FLCL was basically the animators sitting round at table, all high, and shouting over each other saying 'Wouldn't it be cool if this happened!?' xD
The Black Rose arc was probably my favourite for those moments. I mean, you could go in with any problem and the answer would be 'Revolutionize the world.' It would be like, 'I'm failing my tests.' (Revolutionize the world.) I can't find my slipper (Revolutionize the world). I've painted the door so I can only touch the handle (Revolutionize the world.). That, and that arc had the best dual themes and dualist uniforms. Kozue's was probably my favourite dualist outfit and Shiori had my favourite dual theme. I love Nanami's as well but I know it's one of those outfits that only works in anime xD And most people think the Nanami fillers are pointless but if you watch them back to back, you see that Nanami goes through the exact same character arc as Utena does, it's just done in a different way.
I have heard some pretty bad things about Fate/Stay night but from what I hear, Fate/Zero is an absolute masterpiece so I'll probably be checking that one out, even if I don't the other. And Dangan Ronpa is fun, despite having a good few problems and a pretty bland main character. Plus it gives me an amazingly fun character in episode five, who seriously needs her own spin-off show xD
And I've heard them all and I'm honestly really happy with the dub. I'm just waiting for eren's voice now and I'm praying it won't be screwed up because eren's probably the hardest character to get right. AND WE HAVE OUR 50% OFF UPDATE. NAGISA AND REI NEED THEIR OWN SHOW AND REI IS HILARIOUS. And oh my god, the lines... 'I'd vault his pole.' 'H2HOES!' 'I'll be on the boy quicker than Miho on a centerfold spread.'

Believe it or not, booze was actually the whole reason for panty and stocking. Apparantly the creators just got really drunk one night and thought the ideas they came with were hilarious and decided to make it a show xD I wouldn't doubt it if Kill La Kill was inspired the same way.
I actually watched the first six episodes of Utena with my boyfriend yesterday. I could've made a tally chart of how many times he said 'WTF!' xD We should've made a drinking game of it. I had to explain a lot of the symbolism and mind-screw for him as we went along. Even that couldn't prepare him for the Nanami fillers xD
And omg, that sounds brilliant xD I've been watching Dangan Ronpa recently and even though it has a lot of faults (and is apparantly really bad if you played the original game, which I haven't), it's suceeding at being good dumb fun and there's a... certain character that reveals herself in episode five that I am enjoying far too much (to the point where she's the main reason I'm watching) and I think she would be really fun to cosplay, even if her design is completely nuts.
And also, the casting and dub clips for attack on titan have been released! :D And I'm actually really really impressed with it so far. I think Funimation knows they can't afford to screw this one up so they've pretty much cast every talented VA from themselves and other companies and the casting is really good and the voices are really solid, Jean and Hanji being great in particular.
Gainax just keep all their drugs in the back cupboard and break open the lock when they're stuck for ideas xD Seriously, just watch Kill La Kill and tell me it isn't inspired by an illegal substance (though I am admittedly loving Kill la Kill right now xD GOKU UNIFORM.)
I think the reason why Princess Tutu's budget cuts are more forgivable than other older anime is that the music is just so good. Even when you're just watching a ballet still frame, the Tchaikovsky or Wagner blaring in the background makes it seem rather majestic instead of lazy. And yes, Utena is rather an aqquired (crap spelling is crap) taste but I do adore it, mostly because I'm a theatre and broadway fanatic.
And oh my god, if she does, you should put the pictures on tumblr xD I'd love to see that. And there's no word for us either, mostly because we get bugger all here in the UK, scotland especially. Seriously, there's so many shows I'd love to buy online but can't because they only play in America.
'Unintentional', my left foot xD End of Eva was just a total trip. I do think it gave a much better ending to the series than that complete cop-out of a series ending but it just went over the line into pure mental breakdown in the second half. The first half you can follow okay, the second half just decides it doesn't care what it's doing. Everyone molts into orange juice and Shinji is left with a possibly dead Asuka (me and my boyfriend were actually arguing about that earlier in the week; he was convinced she was dead at the end but I'm convinced I saw her eyes move as Shinji was strangling her). And need we mention that scene in the hospital near the beginning... oh lord why...
My favourite parts of Tutu have to be the Pas De Deux scene with Swan Lake and just the last few episodes as a whole. They really knew how to use their music... But yes, the second half does dramatically improve upon the first half but even the first half is enjoyable, mostly for Ahiru and the glorious music and the animation really grew on me as the series went (though my 'go-to' for animation ten years ago would be Wolf's Rain, Bebop and Utena. They all have different style but they still look great even today, even if Utena does look like a stage production).
And I just got my t-shirt a few days ago and it even has a penguin on it and everything xD I've said to myself that if I ever coslay Thugisa, I have to do the voice all day xD And yes, I want a free! dub to update my review with. Please give us Crispen Freeman as Rin, please give us Crispen Freeman as Rin....
