Hey, sorry to leave you hanging, but I really appreciate your response. Thanks for taking it down so nobody else stumbles into it. You gave me one of those 'renewed faith in humanity' moments. On a lighter note, I did not see that ending coming, which is why I was so grumpy. I love shows that destroy tropes on purpose. Nino's confession is now one of my favorite anime moments of all time.

If you're on a romance binge like I am, I just finished Saekano which is another trope-destroying 2 seasons + movie finale that's equally satisfying, if a bit less hijinks-y. I'm going to try Snafu next since it seems like you liked it.
