It's a very sweet and simple anime but can at times really hit your heart like when Haru found one of her brothers dead.

It's also nice to that this anime shows how both the humans and animals view certain situations without necesarily undecrstanding each other completely like how Haru at first didn't know what her name was or how Subaru thinks Haru wants food for herself while she's actually trying to get him to eat.

This is honestly one of my favorite anime!
