The second season of Muv-Luv and it does not disappoint. The story has been adapted better than the first season and the pacing is going a lot more fluent. I'm very happy they didn't rush the story but took their time to work to one of the highlights of the series.
The story: 8/10
I'm a huge fan ever since I played the VN and the first season skipped a lot of context, but now a lot more of the original story has been adapted and it shows. The pacing is good and never had a moment where I felt things were off. The story picks up where the first season ended and shows... See full review
Kengan Ashura provides an interesting tale of bloodsport to fix business disputes. It's your usual high stakes fighting anime, but the animation is flawless and they do a decent job of fleshing out the characters. They aren't the mindless meat puppets that just fight to spill blood. The pacing is on par with the story that is being told. We see a number of matches being fought and also a decent exposition of the plot, without it feeling rushed. The first season is a built up to the second seaon, in which we'll get to see more awesome fight scenes and a bit of drama. Going in I didn't have... See full review
Typical KonoSuba style - a lot of comedy and hilarious interaction between our main leads. I loved the whole episode and would recommend it to anyone who can't get enough of KonoSuba. Visual art style is the same as the previous season and the voice acting is on par as usual. story wise it's a perfect stand alone episode, but we do learn a few extra bits of information that sheds a new light on one of the previous adventures they had. All in all, a great addition to the series.
See full reviewThe show starts of rather slow, with just an introduction of the characters. At first it seems to gloss over a lot of questions about the crew, but as the story continues, they make an effort to adress the questions the first episodes left. Sadly, no explantion is ever given for some of the mayor plot elements, like the teleportation technology.
I did enjoy the show, the voice acting was spot on and character interaction made it a fun watch. The plot isn't up to par with the top anime out there, but if you feel like kicking back and enjoying yourself with some space mining, teleporting, robots... See full review
A dystopian future, where mankind has destoryed itself through chemical, nuclear and killer robot warfare. A single man run into an android while hiding from a squad of hunter robots.
Sounds like a thriller movie, but ends up being a tale about human emotions amid decay and destruction.
I read the VN beforehand and it was marvelous and I never thought they could create the same sense of innocence and sweet heart wrenching sorrow in only five episodes, but the creators nailed it.
I advise anyone who want to experience a feels trip to watch it.
