Sports Girl - Special

This easily could've fit within the main series since that was just a series of sports-related sexual encounters, a premise that could have as many entries as there are sports. And the stories themselves feel pretty basic, with the only questions being how long it will take until they get to the inevitable steaminess and exactly how public it will end up being. The main characters in this entry were somewhat cute, being a bit shy and self-conscious. And the story was written so their only connection to each other was through their respective roommates, so I guess I can understand why those roommates were... See full review

Basically this one shot collection consists of 4 saucy shoujo stories so I'll break them down to tell you a bit on what each of them are about:- Story 1: Timid high school girl meets a "out of the blue" stylist guy, who tells her that he loves her like literally on the spot and wants to change her hairdo since its hiding her face (seriously why are bangs looked frowned upon jeez). The rest is history but rather in a rather speedy odd way if I do say so myself. ... Story 2: A girl dresses up as a maid cosplay for her bf, cuffs herself with those type of"handcuffs" and manages to lose... See full review

This is one of the worst things I have ever read. I read a couple of chapters for free and now I want a refund. This manhwa is another case of shitty male lead syndrome. I know alot of manhwas have objectively terrible MLs. This is the worst. It's god tier shit. I've never wanted to beat a character to death so badly before. Spoilery reasons below. The male lead kills her parents in front of her because they won't let her marry him. Why won't they let her marry him? She's like 8. He appears to be about 30. Yeah. He then stabs her and raises her as a human weapon. He still gets a sad backstory that's... See full review

Isekai Tensei... Saretenee

First thing to know: not mistagged- it’s definitely not isekai, despite the title.  I know it says as much in the summary, but I thought maybe it meant that the second god he saved actually would pull through and isekai him but no dice.  He nearly gets isekai’d then wakes up in the morgue instead with his promised cheats, and stuff happens, and it turns out his original world is actually not as mundane as he thought all along!  It’s really just… funny, I guess.  If you don’t find it funny, you’re probably not going to enjoy it at all.  It’s... I have no idea how to express how unintentionally funny this mahua is. Story It's all over the place, I couldn't guess the genres even if my life depended on it. Subplots are suddenly introduced and then ignored to be later introduced again. The pacing sucks and things are JUST HAPPENING. I am so lost. Panels are strangely composed and make for very incoherent reading. Events are badly structured, at one point they're having a sports day and the next someone gets kidnapped (without showing signs of trauma either??). Art Extremely inconsistent. The colouring is nice but the characters are often... See full review

This novel had a lot of potential but it gets repetitive with limitless face smacking and MC playing pig eat tiger. Killing indiscriminately in modern society with little regard for the law, going around bullying natives of other countries, planning to destroy and rob their shrines. For a novel that's listed under harem genre, it's also an absolute and utter waste of time. do not raed it i sated to read it and i em already at 1200 k chapter so stop reading this bull shit  of novel its not worth yours time at all  and  there are  btetter novels thenthis one to rea d

I'm going, to be honest; I didn't expect much when I started reading. But I was presently surprised. This series is probably one of the best things that I have read. There were some recurring themes that I was not too fond of, one of which was the amount of plot armor that the characters had. Mainly in the fight between Lila (Chef Ego Sword) and Sora. I thought it was rather annoying when Sora won because she 100% should have lost. But other than that, I thought the series was terrific. The ending was fantastic and got me hocked to continue because I planned on stopping at season 1. HCLW is a very excellent... See full review

So, I really like this one, it has a lot of potential and the art is fun- the biggest negative is the isekai racism.  (It’s not the main character.)  It isn’t even ‘fantastic’ or fantasy racism like elves or furry people, it’s just straight up ‘he has dark skin and is from another country’ racism and it is not handled well in the story.  Saying there’s no way someone of his race could be talented and looking at him like garbage until he proves himself and then everybody just.  Is fine with him, though they’re like ‘wow I... This story was one of the most tragic and sad.. yeah really. Right now I'm really crying very hardly.. (don't make fun, it's not funny) why does jaeha has to die?? *Cries, sobs* why did nobody want them to be together?! TxT just why did everything go upside down and the people became so cruel??!!! Jaeha... Uh.. I wished jaeha had never been parted from Yoseob. I'm really sad, I mean, honestly this is the first manga that made me feel nauseous, tearful and confused. I hope it would've been better if things went according to Yoseob. I think the creator/artist didn't feel Yoseob's true emotions or feelings... See full review

A Silent Voice

I guess first, I gotta get outta the way--this was a bit lesser than the oneshot. I think a large part of it is that while the oneshot mainly focused on its evocative portrayal of bullying, the series focuses on a tone of atoning, with Ishida trying to help Nishimiya restore friendships and stuff that his bullying had helped damage. And along the way, he learns to live straightforwardly as well. Subconsciously, I must've been expecting something different, because I was initially a bit disappointed with it. But once I got used to the fact that this would be a redemption storyline rather than... See full review

A Silent Voice Special Book

A oneshot focusing on quite possibly the most interesting character from A Silent Voice--Nishimiya's mother. We are shown the thought process behind her strict and cold demeanor, and how it ultimately comes from a place of caring for her child. I enjoyed seeing the realization she comes to at the end, after eating the cake she had baked herself. Obviously, this story works best if read in conjunction with the main series, but it's self-contained enough that I could see someone enjoying it without having read anything else.

Taming a heart Despite its sexual abuse theme and blackmail this is quite and enjoyable read, through I did find myself sometimes cringing or feeling uncomfortable with sex abuse that ended the maids Arc to transition the second half of the story.  At the core of the story it is a love story and this shines is mostly in the second arc, a longing for love of people who are being abandoned. And that anybody is searching for love or dealing with loneliness would jump at every chance to be loved despite what it despite what it entails. It's also a fun Read.

Plus the fact they argue quite a lot which I understand they have different backgrounds but my god, stop with the daisy picking and just settle as leaders of your countrymen. At least the author doesn't introduce you 54 000 new useless characters each chapters only to make more chapters. The sotry doesn't feel stretched at all and not any chapters seem to be useless. While the art wasn't always consistent and one or two stories didn't quite hit the mark, this is hands down one of the best set of stories I've read in ages. The first chapter has replaced the one shot Hotel - the story that got me into manga over a decade ago - as the most epic story I've read. So many chapters reminded me of the short stories I used to read in Analog magazine as a kid, or similar to episodes of Black Mirror, where there's a devious twist at the end. The main miss was chapter 13 about the space elevator, but the rest were A+/ Fantastic art in almost all of the stories - even ones... See full review

I'm not sure if this was intended to be a horror story or not, but I sorta get the impression that it was since it plays into some of those same types of storytelling techniques. It has unexplained supernatural occurrences (specifically human metamorphosis), people giving in to carnal desires like lust and violent anger, people's private lives being peeped on, and an ending which suggests that these haunting type events will continue into perpetuity. All very reminiscent of horror tropes, but the problem is that this story's not scary or thrilling; it doesn't evoke even a single emotion in me as I read... See full review

The story is about a witch- Dawn- who gets accepted to a prestigious magic school and is then sorted into one of the lowest ranking classes due to her lack of 'potential' for magic. Ordinarily, this would open up a whole avenue of interesting ideas to explore, leading up to the ultimate realisation that potential doesn't equate success, or that being at a great school or in a higher class doesn't mean you're likely to do better. The main character's personality is great as well, and unlike those weak-ass main characters you find in most of the reincarnation or time-traveling manhuas, in this manhua, the mc doesn't care about anything except for getting stronger faster.

The MC is refreshing - though more or less powerless (especially when compared to the three male leads), she definitely isn't a damsel in distress and knows how to help herself. I really enjoy her commentary and "mind theater" (imagination), as her thoughts often point out things that tend to annoy me about the shojo genre or are just hilarious. I never give reviews but this one deserved it...
I started reading this manhwa last year and then I had it stalled until now. I just finished it and I can't describe all the feelings these 10 last chapters gave to me. All I can say is that I cried a lot.

Also recommend ya to listen something, preferably sad songs :D and enjoy yourselves~
