I'll Always Be with You, Okay?

As I was reading this, I felt a slight sense of discomfort and unease. Which I'm sure is the aura the author was going for. It's not gory or frightening or even surprising; it's just subtly creepy. I kept finding myself thinking of this faceless shadow person as the true nature of imaginary friends, which for some reason made it feel that much more disturbing. Perhaps because I started imagining all the children who are falsely believing they are friends with these uncaring creatures and I felt frightened for them.

A Long Stay

Well, I can't honestly say that I entirely understand this. The climax is when he pulls himself out of the hole of his own death, then wraps himself in the hole. All of the characters (J, N, and the giant hand) are the same person, and all of the events seem to be occurring within this person's mind. It's an abstract projection of themselves. It's a metaphor for loneliness. It's the tension of wanting the stability of identity versus the desperate need for connection and change.

This is the best webtoon/manga/book i've ever read (and i read quit a lot). It was actually the first time i cried reading something (knowing that i am not a crybaby i didnt even cry at banana fish...) and i cried so much my tears wouldn't stop. I never bother to write any review but this one was worth it and it is quit a shame that this webtoon isn't that popular. Even though the ending was really sad, it is not disappoiting. A very sad and beautiful webtoon worth reading. (the best i've ever read)

Your Lie in April

A story about a piano prodigy, who due to childhood trauma can´t play music since he can´t hear himself play, but then he meets a girl who changes everything he thought he knew in his life.
This is not a complicated story, everything is pretty much telegramed to the reader right away, even the piano lore is explained in really plain terms so that anyonecan understand, but what makes this story strike so hard is how the author unravelled the emotions, the personal discoveries of the quartet.  The storytelling could almos be called cheesy but nonetheless it makes you stop to aprecciate it... Sow

The story ends abruptly, just as it was picking up steam. Not that it was ever going to be a masterpiece even if it had continued to a more natural conclusion. It's sorta like a female Dexter in that it follows a serial killer who justifies their killings by a warped code of justice, but it also includes a large amount of sex. It indulges in the pornographic gore of rape and torture. Even the consensual sex can be pretty violent. Based on two instances, it seemed like Sow had a catch phrase she would say before slitting her victims' throats: "If I get pregnant, I'll make sure to raise them... See full review

Well ladies and gents, the two stories in this manga very much escalated quickly in terms of the "sweet romance" you see here! The fact the 2nd story involves a teacher who is AGED 16 but PRETENDS to be 24 to save her from being fired obviously, seems very much bizarre to me lol Other than that, the art is cute!

Suzuka is a complex romance/drama case. The story is very good. The art is not very good but readable. I'm gonna focus and the romance and the characters. Secondary characters are good but not gorgeous. Secondary characters in KNIM are way better developed. The interesting and complex case is about thow MCs. The main character is a hard worker boy. He's not perfect but he can do all the work in the world for suzuka (never follow his behaviour in real life it's the worst idea possible girls do not seek a dog). The complex case is suzuka. She's cold, too cold. What the reader need to understand is simple... See full review

A Town Where You Live

Proto57's avatar

This story is, for me, divided in 3 distinct parts. 1. Countryside part. Basically it's good. It's the introduction with the main characters, the context of the story and everything else. It becomes gradually more "drama" and it was quite frustrating to read at the end of this part (before yuzuki leaves to Tokyo). Story was interesting and characters were goods. What pissed me off was the behaviour of yuzuki right before she finally decides to date with MC (dont tell me it's a spoil everyone would have guessed that she is fated to date him). Her behaviour was just stupid and frustrating... 2... See full review

We're all probably familiar with the story of Cinderella, so we can appreciate the differences this version introduces. A spider clock here, a man in a horse mask there. It makes everything a little darker and creepier. The characters, including Cinderella, are less pure and more self-serving. I thought the tree transforming into the witch was pretty neat and there were a few alterations to the plotline that were unexpected, but made sense. It's okay.

The story i also liked they have a strong bond in the start but you know they argue and call eachother names the omega is a late so when he does have his heat all he can think about is him and which then they start getting together ... they end up loving eachothers smells and can't keep their hands off eachpther especially when they start to live together . I ABSOULUTELY LOVE THIS! Probably my favorite ever! I love Lady Melissa, she isn't an idiot and she's very smart. All of the character designs are truly *chef's kiss* It isn't cliche where almost everyone introduced in the story magically loves the villain/heroine. This never ever bore me! And trust me in every review I made, this one never made me bored. The ML? Atleast I think so, it super duper cute and amazing! The "Heroine" is also awesome! She doesn't annoy me and she is also not what you see everyday where the original heroine is evil or something like that. Also finally agree with the... See full review

I love this so much! It's cute and adorable. I love the idea of this. My only problem with this is that some chapters are bland and boring. It's especially annoying because one day it updates, I get a chapter that's basically so simialar to the previous chapter. For example, another eating food at the table with Ain, Activities with Ain! It's boring. Plus, the Female lead is a bit dumb, and super dense! I mean, at least try to notice what's actually happening! Anyways, don't see myself dropping, I really like it despite the negativity I said.

This story really made me excited! The FL is overpowered and strong. She isn't an idiot like most FL. Most chapters didn't fail to make me excited and satisfied. I would have gave this story a 10/10 of everything, if it wasn't for the other characters. I feel like the author rushed the character's introduction. The ML is average score for me. The most of the characters are bland and kind of boring (some make me angry). Then for the rest of the chapters they get boring and more uninteresting. Finally, I dropped it. I still really liked it though, especially the first few chapters.

The first most chapters it's very enjoyable, funny, cute, and satisfying. I love the whole idea of this. My only problem is the FL has the genes of Bakarina. She's kind of stupid and she's extremley dense. Basically all of the chapters weren't boring to me though! Most have satisfying spice, and some made me very angry or annoyed. Even if the FL is dense and dumb I will defintely still read it. I really want to see how this story goes.

It's pretty good! When first reading it's exciting and cute. But gradually when the chapter go on it gets boring. The male lead is okay, in my opinion his character is too dry. The female lead is great, though, she needs to stop forcing someone else on her man ALL THE TIME. It's fustrating and annoying. Overall this is a rollercoaster for me. One second i'm happy and excited then the next i'm mad and annoyed. I won't drop this because I can see the potential of spice this has, so I'll keep reading.

What a truely great masterpiece that had to be totally destroyed and cancelled because of an author who thought he could get away with assulting middle schoolers. No reason to write out a review, as that'd just promote the manga and might cover the facts of what happened. The author is a molester, an evil person, and the artist who worked for him didn't like him to the point where they refused to talk to one another. She was 18 at the time of working with him. There we are, umi no misaki, one of the best romance manga ever written. Open polygamy, god tier characters development, excellent original and mysterious story. The story is based on the believes and the mythology of the island. It makes everything refreshing and realistic. In this manga, you wont have the cliche plots of slice of life romance and harem. The story is serious, mature, well paced, cute and to enhance everything, there is a LITTLE touch of drama on the last chapters. I can only say this much to avoid spoiling the interesting story. The characters is the point where I can put everything. MC... See full review

There is no drama but it doesnt mean the story is not serious. MC is the pathetic cliche otaku and he will quickly fall in love with his classmate, a shy and mysterious popular girl that seems cold because she never talks to anyone. The art definitely got across what was going on. But I will say that at times it felt cluttered and overly artistic in its presentation, which made me have to pull away from my reading of the story and stare at the page a bit to try to make sure I was getting all the information it was trying to evoke. I got the impression that the author was more concerned with playing around with techniques and stuff than making sure the readers would be able to easily follow the action. I don't know what fairy tale this is based on, but it certainly does have that sort of moral lesson and karma feeling to it... See full review

Who needs a synopsis when the title is a paragraph long. The suicidal guy, Taku, seems to do very little to try to get his yandere girlfriend, Kuro, to kill him. There was one scene early on where he tried to make her jealous by saying he had a hickey, but that's actually the only instance I can think of where he actively tried goading her to hurt him. Most of the time, he just hopes that she'll feel inclined to kill him if they just spend time together, which is pretty pathetic. On her part, she's a horny stalker who will secretly break into his home. Most of the jokes seem built around misunderstandings... See full review

The settings of the world is pitiful. It is post apocalyptic but characters seems not to give a f*ck about it. Main character himself does not realize he can die.. Even when i'm playing a video game i'm more cautious and serious than him. The story gas no depth at all because it's just a rom/com. There is nothing serious about this story. I've gotten so used to animal-eared characters in manga basically just being quirky humans that it felt like a change of pace to see it being used as a way to make the feelings of pet cats more relatable. This story is showing how older pets can become jealous and standoffish to younger pets, possibly scared of their place in the home being taken away. I will say that I think the hospitalization was a bit overdramatic and that the road to getting rid of jealousies and insecurities is a longer and bumpier process than the ending of this manga implies, but the story was still pretty nice.

The problem with having this type of dotey-dotey manga mixed with this type of premise is that it doesn't show any of the negative stuff the demon army does. As a result, the demon characters don't feel like they have any nuance or understandable motives for fighting against the humans. Also, for being chief of the demon army, Hyudooru doesn't seem to spend any time actually leading or giving orders and we see more maids than soldiers. We don't even see any variety in the demons' responses to Rene, the human hero. All of them feel sorry for her unfortunate circumstances and want to care for her. None of... See full review

Thoughts about I Got a Boy This is definitely not one of those one dimensional webtoons where it’s all fluff and sweetness. It made me mad. It made me cry. It made me laugh. Though the plot is not the most original, the story telling was done brilliantly by the author. The art was rough on the first season but it got so much better as the story went along. I love that the growth of each characters were physically visible. Their proportions, the length of their hair, the emotions on their eyes. So much changes in a span of a year. Nice art but the rest of the story don't make any sense. Whenever there is something related to a prophecy or big conspiracy the plot will affected in a bad way. The path of the characters will be predetermined by the author and the story will be less engaging. For example : - Story 1 : MC gets betrayed and wants to get revenge, fight his way and afterwards decides what to do with his future - Story 2 : MC gets betrayed but it was because his family had the secret power of ancient gods and his parents were killed.
