Tales of Demons and Gods

There are so many reviews talking about how great this manga is, but no critics. Let's change that. SO- I dropped this manga after almost 200 something chapters, I think. I have a terrible memory and Inread this years ago. Like everyone else, I loved it and thought it was the best. Eventually, it loses its touch. The female characters are annoying and too dependent on the male lead, they're just damsels in distress. Before they were able to fight on their own but then suddenly they just. . . became weak? I don't know, but I don't like that. The male lead was intelligent and admirable at first, but now he's... See full review

I Met the Male Lead in Prison

I am very, very mad at this manga. If this wasn't a one-shot it could've been an awesome, popular manga. It's funny too. Don't read it because you'll only want more chapters (and you won't get them). The character rating is low because the ML was acting like a dog which was funny at first but then turned cringe. I wish this wasn't a one-shot. I warned you. There is a light novel but I don't really like those so it's my loss. SIGH.

The Demon Prince of Momochi House

To start things off, I have to defend that this is not a rip-off of Kamisama Kiss like so many like to claim. The similarities are really only on a surface level. The stories go in two very different directions and have completely different tones. Story: The story starts out average but really picks up around volume 5. Do note that Japanese mythology is very present throughout the story, so it may be best to have some prior knowledge of it before reading, though the translation notes are fairly helpful.  Art: The art is absolutely gorgeous, especially later on. Characters: I find all of the... See full review

A very lighthearted yaoi manga about Maki and Hana, a gay couple. This manga is absolutely adorable and so fluffy. I have read this so many times, especially when I'm stressed out. They have this adorable pet bunny that makes you just want to squeeze it. It's very funny too. I highly recommend it.

There are only two things that I dislike about this manga. The story moves too slowly. 11 chapters in and he's still in the same village. Takeru (the main character) is pretty bland. Of course, he has all these OP abilities and such but his reaction to things seems forced. Also, the other characters don't have strong personalities, as they all seem like side characters you can easily forget about. Um, basically I'm saying that they need more character details. That's about it. The plot is common, that's why I rated it a seven. The art is fine, but they draw the facial features too small for my taste. I... See full review

WARNING READ THIS AFTER YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR DINNER AND OH BTW, THERE'S A SERUOUSLY CUTE BUNNY INVOLVED IN THIS YAOI TOO This Shounen Ai is honestly full of cuteness with a couple, but it's also including delicious dishes that I ...would be very useless in making them personally  for myself (yes I know I am a pretty lazy arse but you never know when I can try them out lol). I liked the fact the author went out of her way to take a picture of the actual omelete for real and put it as the story's front cover. I also liked the fact Nanoka gave us the recipes the boys make together at the end... See full review

I liked this series. Loved it in fact. I just don't like the characters and the story that follows around it. You have 2 people who love each other so much, that they saved each other till the very end-causing a genocide of millions, possibly billions of people.  I understand that this "love" and the great feelings that they have for each other is meant to make the story better, but they are the type of people (side characters Daewi and Mira) who would cause the entire Earth to fall into oblivion. End note: Good art, MC is likable, the characters he becomes friends with love causing... See full review

It's really good and funny with both couples who have different kind of personalities. Old Xian does a good job at storytelling in a weird way . You need to be patient with the very vague first chapters also but it picks up more if you keep on reading it. That's all I'm gonna say with this spoiler free review...

Garbage Brave: Isekai ni Shoukan Sare Suterareta Yuusha no Fukushuu Monogatari

Niche manga story with a living, inanimate object but I find his desire for revenge to be lukewarm.  I did really like his application of skills like dismantle. Using it as a skill on a living animal instead of helping give knowledge on how to dissect a corpse is a creative idea. I have high Hope's for the development. Just hope it doesnt disappoint me like "the new gate" after the break dancing skeleton.

Story is trying to control his power. Only read this because I am a little tired of rereading entire series of other manga when a new chapter comes out. Art is fine, lots of white out in the first chapters and poorly inserted, unnecessary male and female parts in later ones.  Characters are cookie cutter with obvious personalities from just looking at them but I am a sucker for monster girl characters.  This is not a manga that I'll be waiting for new chapters on but also is not bad enough to drop. Hope it develops a story next time I check on it.

10 Years That I Loved You the Most

God, where do I start? This Manhua is beautiful. The art style is very pleasing and pretty. The characters I very nicely developed and I personally loved all of them. The story was amazing. The journey of ZiShu was very, very sad. The story is very realistic, showing the struggles of love. I sympathise with ZiShu, he's one of my favourite characters. His character development and his ending were written very well but I do wish the ending was a little happier. Jiang's character development is also amazing.  Everything is amazing- If you need to cry, this is a great read.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Alright so, I happened to stumble upon this masterpiece about 2 days ago and, no kidding, this is so amazing! Honestly, since watching Piano no Mori, I've been absolutely craving something like this; musical prodigy MC's are my weakness. Regarding the manga itself, the story and the characters are very well developed (thought the character's may get annoying sometimes), and the art is nothing to scoff at either. I tell you what though, this manga is JAM FILLED with drama, so if you're highly sensitive, or something, best steer clear. Like GODDAMN, I cannot tell you the number of times... See full review
