100 Days in Europe

Omg this was such a wonderful romantic story I've ever read in 2020. Hayden and Gia from since they first met in Prague, REALLY DESERVED each other. It goes to show that none of us should be basing on an individuals look first, but how they are shown as a person themselves. I liked how Jihyo Kim put in wee facts on the locations they visited, it keeps the reading experience feel more like the readers are tourists themselves in these areas (even if we are all in lockdown right now).

As well regarding food shown in this manhwa, I really was fascinated to understand that there's deserts out there called... See full review

I am drading this manga quite high but it is because this is a founding stone Manga by the god of manga Tezuka, Osamu. I was able to buy a new edition of the original and it was lovely and really emotional to read it. You have to know a little about the author to be able to feel his emotions. Tezuka lived through World War II and the horrible consequences of the war in Japan. There you can see how a deep questions on human existance are formuladed. I really recommend it as essencial for any otaku who wants to deepen in the origins of manga and its evolution.

Whisper Me a Love Song

Himari is cute and bubbly and falls in love with Yori's musical performance. Yori also falls in love with Himari, but soon realizes that Himari's love is less romance than fandom. In order to win Himari's heart, Yori joins a band and writes a love song. For her part, Himari goes on a journey of self-reflection and contemplation to try to figure out whether she'll be able to reciprocate Yori's romantic feelings. She talks with several people, who each offer different insights into how love will present itself. I personally felt like the manga relies too much on a cute aesthetic, and them reacting to... I Was Just an Ordinary Lady

Ever seen a baby so ugly it basically has yaoi hands?  Now you can!  Because not even the baby is spared from the artist's lacking ability to draw.  Yeah, if one judged solely by the lineart itself, it would be pretty subpar, but it's more like 'just average' due to the full coloring and shading covering that up a bit.  Still, you'll have to look past that- if you want to read the also slightly below average isekai plot where the main lead is reborn beloved by god and all the magical spirits and has cheat level magic, etc.  Pretty cliche.  Positives(?) include semi-realistic... It's just really too bad that I can't find or even read all full 46 chapters of this manhwa because it is so realistic and heartbreaking to see what the Author had actually been through. This is in terms of her experiencing domestic violence, gender discrimination, family estrangement, sexism, emotional abuse, physical abuse and parent neglect. This not just about the Author herself of what she been through, she also interacts with another guy called Jae Hoon who also came from a broken home system.

Danzi definitely did a fantastic job as a mangaka by bringing awareness of what anyone can go... See full review

Thoughts on Cheese in the Trap 300 chapters of passive aggressive psychos around the FL. Timeline of the story especially the flashbacks can be very confusing. FL is an overthinking pushover who constantly has irritating monologues about every little thing aroud her without doing anything until she’s about ready to explode. Don’t even get me started about the ML. 2 saving grace of this Manhwa: The art and Inho Baek. He deserves so much better.

This story is pretty much a like or don't like. It's very leisurely and pretty much can count as a a slice of life up to around chapter 20 something. There things start becoming a bit more interesting with more carachters and a new subplot. I personally like this kind of story but there are many that get bored of it quickly so try to read it before you decide if it's good or not. The art is amazing and I also love the concept of someone trying to lose weight but not managing to do so quickly like in other novels, it is something I can relate to hahaha.  The only thing I wish it had more of is the in... I LOVED IT OMG. The gore, the characters, Hina, Elizabeth, Kaito, the plot, I LOVED ALL OF IT. Although I agree with the other review, the characters were kinda undeveloped and empty, but it's definietly a manga I reccommend if you enjoy short, action ones.  The ending was kinda up in the air, I feel like with 11 demons still remaining, the manga could've continued in further volumes, with the hunting down and deaths of all of the rest noble demons and their contractors, possibly diving further into the curch itself and their plans with Elizabeth after all noble demons are dead. Obviously, the main hook of the story is that spiders normally eat butterflies, so it's strange for them to be in love. It played around within that tension a little bit, but it felt like the author was just grabbing the low-hanging fruit rather than taking that premise to places I wouldn't immediately expect. The art was pretty beautiful. The dialogue and narration reminds me of a children's book: slightly stilted and inorganic in its flow and progression. It gets the idea across, but it prevents me from immersing myself in the story or seeing the characters as anything more than actors in this... See full review

For some reason, I had subconsciously hoped that this story would be centered around insects. But it's not that type of bug that the title is referring to. It's referring to glitches in a video game, though several of these "bugs" are more about hidden information based on Jared's encyclopedic knowledge of the game and less about exploiting loopholes in the structure of the world (though some of them certainly are the latter). Unlike Kono Sekai ga Game dato Ore dake ga Shitte Iru, which uses a similar premise, none of the bugs are over-the-top or funny or exciting. In fact, they are presented... See full review

It's beautiful. I feel so horrible just to find this manga after 15 YEARS!! But it's better not than never. I've heard the Disney version or even Barbie versions of these stories. Later I foud out the 'cruel' version of the stories like The little mermaid actually dies and such. This one? This one is on a complete whole new level. It adds some of the poor mental condition of the stories. Some are so sad it made me cry and it has it's own storyline. A more twisted way of portraying these fairytales. It is just so wonderful to read these, I'm in love with this manga and will give it a five stars.

Pretty much exactly what you expect going in, an 'either you love it or you hate it' type of story about two twins being isekai'd as royal bastard children and abused until they're not abused and, traumatised, they have to deal with things changing for them from there on out.  It's not the most original thing out there, but I enjoy it personally.  If nothing else, 20 chapters passed in a flash and I still was hungry for more.  The art is the decently high level you'd expect from most Kakao Page published web comics, the characters have personality, the story is a bit bland so far but it's... What infuriates me about this manga is the ML. He's a player, he wanted a female assistant, and despite the FL going undercover as a boy, he still flirts.  The FL needs to up her standards before I punch them both. Also, chapter 64 comes around and the art style completely changes!! It does look way better but the sudden change is irritating. Overall: 2.5/5 stars

On the Emperor's Lap

While the setup of conflict is emotionally gripping and there is potential to the story, I currently find On the Emperor's Lap an okay work that needs some commitment from readers to see the end of the story. While the color and line work is done quite well, the drawing itself feels static and awkward when it comes to communicating complicated emotions in characters. There is no comedy to give breaks to the story's web of hardship, betrayal and scheming. And the story does not need comedy. But it feels like the framing of scenes and the drawings need to communicate more depth and uniqueness to... See full review

The story's a bit all over the place, but I mean, let's be honest here, what manga has a story that totally makes sense? It's an interesting concept, the characters are nicely developed. One of the worst sentiments a manga reader can express is "I really loved the beginning, but then..." That's how I feel about this one here. I might even rate the first story arc as a 10/10. I get shivers in the opening chapter, when Usami first walks on the stage and my heart's all like "Imamura can actually have a relationship with her this time around." Gah, I love Usami! What a cutie! And I find the initial storytelling engaging and endearing. But there are several turning points where the manga got worse. The first turning point is after chapter 32. He fondles, fingers, and eats out the women until they get wet and then he just seem to pound them hard and aggressively. The ML is so cute and wholesome and I love his reactions to the FL. And the FL is just the best, she's smart, brave, and her futile attempts to seduce the demon lord (ML) is so friggin funny. A highly recommended manga with a lighthearted, yet serious read.  There's so much more emotion in the story and I love that. The "porn folder" premise is only really used as the glue to justify putting these unrelated pieces of erotica together. Each of the seven stories can be seen as one type of fetish that a different person might have in their porn folder. Though these fetishes do have some recurring ideas, like domination and semi-public humiliation. And raw intensity is prized over cuddling. Three of the stories involve supernatural elements (mind-reading, angels and demons, and ghosts). It was really good and well written. Only down side is that plot twist that will emotionally destroy you. Still they wrapped the story up with a good ending.

I had high expectations for this story and it was delivered so well in return, honestly. This story was just simple enough to catch my attention but held enough drama and secrets to keep me going without it being to much. Personally, I really fell in love with the two lovers, and even the side characters brought in for the second season I actually liked that much more. All relationships had a time frame of development and feelings where clear and told. Instead of reading something where the character like to play mind games with each other, they were honest and clear with one another and their feelings... See full review

Disclaimer - I read 60 chapters and was all caught up and then took a break from it for a few months until the rest of the chapters were out so I might be blurry on some details. The beginning began strong with mystery and a new world and all these new concepts, but it just got confusing as it went on. I felt like the characters never developed as the story went on. The art was good; one thing I disliked was that sometimes it was confusing about which speech bubbles were from you. Overall, a good looking webtoon with intersting... See full review

Deor

This manga is about a boy named Deor, who is a prince and is unable to use magic. This causes him to be looked down upon and almost everyone thinks he has no chance of becoming king. (BTW, there are multiple princes/princesses, like over five of them.)  But then the king says that anyone can claim the throne. Now that all heirs have a chance, people try to kiss up to him. This webtoon is unique in its own way and funny at times. It's been on hiatus for a while though, so I suggest waiting for it to continue before reading. Enjoy!! ^^
