What an amazing, romantic manga. I cried tears of joy when they started going out, partly because Fumi cried and partly because I was listening to depressing music. I wish there were extras but I will have to be content with the ending. The happy ending. Although homewreckers appeared left and right, they got through it. Such a cute couple. I wish Akatsuki was a bit more open with his expressions but that was key to the story. I really like it. Plus all my ships sailed. Yay!!

Frieren's sense of scale when regarding time is different from everyone around her because she's lived for over a thousand years already; she sees a decade as an inconsequential blip. But after Himmel dies, she realizes that the decade she had spent adventuring with him had affected her and she wishes she could have gotten to know him better. Each chapter begins by noting how many years have passed since Himmel's death, with all of the current events taking place twenty-odd years after. Frieren is still traveling around the world acquiring magic as she has always done, but now she has also started sorta... See full review

Dear Door

NatsumeKhun's avatar
Jul 22, 2020

Dear Door has got everything from very hot and smutty sex scenes between the main couple, to action and an okay storyline. Though it starts off really rough. It's a slow build as the characters slowly end up gathering feelings for each other, but it wasn't always consensual, so that's where this story can fall short. The secondary couple is also completely non consensual, and at times you just feel so bad for Gyeong Joon's friend, who happens to love Joon, but just can't win against the cards life has thrown him. The humans in this story are for the most part completely useless and at the mercy... See full review

this is one of my all-time favourite webtoon. with every chapter, you read you can see how much time and effort the author spent building up the story and its characters. the details are insane whatever we see the characters go through anything you realise that it was lightly hinted in another chapter or season of that matter it's just amazing and I would really recommend anyone to read it I know its confusing in the start but it will ll suddenly just add up by every season.

God, this is hilarious. As far as smut goes, this one really takes the cake. The characters are so. Damn. Funny. I could not stop laughing. The seme is the ultimate pervert who acts like the uke is a gift from god. The uke tries to seduce/seduces him on a daily basis. I would give this a 6 but that seems to low.

Gosh, where do I even start? It's a masterpiece, solid gold. I admit that I dropped it once because I didn't like the art. After two more tries, I managed to get myself so absorbed in the story. I binged it.  Story: MC gets killed by Truck-kun and wakes up in a suicide patient's body. He meets his childhood friend in school. The rest is for you to find out. It's a hilarious romance about two sassy assholes. Art: As mentioned before, I didn't like the art. But after I got addicted to the story the art became so beautiful. The eyelashes though, like what's their secret? Characters: Perfect. Overall... See full review

Sign is the cutest BL story I've read by far and the couples in it are so wholesome that it feels like you've eaten a bowl of sugar. Soohwa and Yohan are complete dorks who can't seem to realize how much they like each other, despite being horny for each other and going at it 24/7. Then there's Gyoon who appears to be scary, but he's just a protective friend. I love all these characters.  However at one point the plot felt like it was about to go the Killing Stalking route with Byung being all psycho. I'm glad it didn't, but that dude definately needs help lol. I loved reading this from start to... See full review

The characters were really cool as well as the art but the plotline and story was really rushed. In the end, they do get together and I'm happy about that but it was kind of unfulfilling becuase I still don't know what the butler's true personality is like since he acts like kind of a robot and the girl is too naive and innocent for her own good. She's constantly getting touched up and does nothing but act like a little bunny while the butler seems like he's trying to manipulate her without crossing that master-butler line. It's an OK romance story but I would've liked there to be more details and a clearer... See full review

I get such melancholic vibes from this manga. I really enjoyed reading this. It's cute and fluffy but then a second later you feel like an emotional trainwreck. I have no complaints about the seme, Dean, he's perfect. And Craig is just pure fluff and watching them interact is a sight to see. When you finish the manga, the title's meaning becomes very clear. It wasted no time, the plot was executed perfectly. The art is so satisfying and I love the lighting. I have almost no complaints. The ending was satisfying although it scared the crap out of me. I am content.

I really liked the story overall, the only "problem" maybe was with the smut chapters, there were too many of them and i eneded up skipping some. The characters open up little by little and thus the story is slow burn; its a slice of life with a bit of magic and mistery. I reailly loved the relationship between Lucia and the "sons", After reading it, it awakened In me a maternal feeling (i got really attached to the characters) It gave me so many emotions and pleasant memories, it's and it will probably remain one of my absolute favourite books. The Seven Princes of the Thousand Year Labyrinth

Jul 21, 2020

A half-decent fantasy story with some shounen ai overtones. Most of the tale takes place in the Castle of the Thousand-Year Labyrinth, an old, massive structure laden with puzzle-oriented traps and a lost history. The traversal throughout this ornate dungeon is handled well, for the most part, though some aspects of the castle and its hazards could've been better explained. The same holds true for the final set of chapters, which (without spoiling too much) are somewhat different than the ones that have come before. These endgame scenes are all very dramatic, but certain key aspects are poorly handled. Our... See full review

Honestly, one of my favorite reads out there.  The story is both unique and original and keeps you invested as it's slowly built up.  The author is really good at giving you pieces of information crucial to the narrative without revealing the whole picture and the pages don't scroll by insufferably quick because there's a lot of material to get through.  The characters are well fleshed out; each with their own pasts, personalities and decision making (and these often overlap with other characters).  It's not just a one-dimensional lovestory, but something like a mystery. ... The Titan's Bride

WaterBearer's avatar
Jul 21, 2020

It moves incredibly quick in the beginning with a typical, and a bit lazy (imo), isekai explanation.  The characters aren't very complex; Kouichi just wants to go home at first, but quickly develops a pseudo stockholm syndrome without the depth/severity one might expect from more "serious" stories.  Caius just cares about Kouichi and wants him to become his 'bride' and despite keeping Kouichi against his will (at first) the author kind of just smooths over the kidnapping.  There's the usual tropes of 'past lover enters the story and complicates things', etc.  There is a bit of... its a very light-hearted and funny manhwa considering its genre, I'm very used to ready manhwa with similar plot ideas but just having an intense storyline but this one is different and I love that about it our protagonist here lived a very harsh life and was reincarnated in the polar opposite of his previous life, it kind of gives you warmth reading it and I was purely feeling happy for him experiencing real genuine care from others. his father and mother being extremely loving and trusting of his ability, especially his father and his younger sister admiring him made him want to protect them with his... The actual romance was cute and short and pretty straightforward. But the art is pretty horrible, the transitions between scenes aren't the best, and I don't think that the narrative device of having Anji read the sky's emotions was a good choice. It wasn't pulled off very well and it's not even clear if we're meant to interpret this as Anji literally reading Sayo's emotions by looking at the sky, or if it's meant to portray him as a daydreamer that lives within his own head, or if it's just meant as a poetic metaphor. But whatever the intention, I think it made the story worse.

I kept wanting to think of Shiro as a little girl instead of a little boy. But anyway, this little boy lives in an old-style town, pretending to be a stray cat running freely through the streets. A lot of the plot seems to consist of Ichii tracking Shiro down to make sure that Shiro has a place to stay for the night, and us seeing how all the townspeople love Shiro. Also, we see how Shiro has been able to find some happiness even though he's clearly still affected by the trauma of his mom abandoning him. The fourth chapter feels a bit tacked on to the narrative sequence.

I mean is there even anything to say about it? I read 105 chapters and the story is still as shixxy as it was in the beginning. Derp eyes that will make you want to remove yours, cliche characters after cliche characters. The art is just horrendous, these Chinese manhua are fighting to see who will have the worst art of all. And don't get me started on the "humor", these authors have a very different sense of humor than 99,9% of the population. You end up with this MC and this story. I don't say it lightly but this is just a little level above trash.

I am surprised that that'll be the manga's first review. It's a depressing manga that tests the main character's endurance in the first 6-7 chapters. Hinata and Kageyama are the core of the plotline, with Kageyama's amazing ability to set the ball combining with Hinata's extreme athleticism to create a freaky quick set that plays a central role in their team's offensive strategies. In the romance genre, you see happily ever afters and that there's no strings attached with both parties. However in this webtoon, we see these 3 girls go through trials and tribulations when it comes to live. For real, we all go through relationships with people we use to hang out with, regardless if we dated them or have been friends with them for a short/long time.
