I don’t really have anything towards badminton regardless I really liked this sport for a long, long time. But, I don’t know why I’m not into it now. Yet, I watch everything as long as it can so, why not? “Hanebado!”, at first, really caught me in the first episode. But, there is something at the bottom in my heart that I can’t express it. The first episode introduces all of your favorite characters including Nagisa, Ayano, Riko, Erena, and upcoming side characters. The prologue starts with something similar to your sports anime tropes especially “Haikyu!!&rdquo... See full review

Story: This story is loosely based on a old chinese folk-lore 封神榜.  Very past pace without context to anything.  Very confusing. Characters: ok, nothing special.  None of them are all that interesting.  As mentioned above, show is very fast pace so no proper character introduction or back story.  Some characters just appears and then never seen again without reason. Animation - The editing and screenplay is terrible.  There is no flow.  Randomly jumps from one scene to the next.  Can be very confusing.   Overall - terry... See full review

Macross Plus

Do not think this has anything to do with the Macross series. This IS NOT related. This actually ties into Robotech for anyone who's curious. Great for its age, while short. The story likes to get all over at times with how it paces its delivery. but I've watched this many times before heh. It feels a bit rushed at times and totally could've gone longer but it not going longer makes sense. Great music, the characters are a nice contrast to each other. Sure there's not too many characters but they all fill the gaps for what each other needs to grow. It's not strictly a mecha for those who tend to steer clear... See full review

Food Wars! The Third Plate: Totsuki Train Arc

Mar 13, 2019

And with this another show completed this season, and another show ending on a cliffhanger “alluding” to another season, but personally unlike the other shows this season this time it doesn’t really bother me because Food Wars, in essence, is just a continuing ongoing cooking battle that never has an end so I didn’t expect it to have an ending this time, and in fact I think this is probably one of the better seasons of Food Wars since all the pacing was pretty good and it followed the manga’s pacing fairly closely from my understanding (instead of like what happened during... Blue Gender Review The following review is for the anime series Blue Gender, which is a twenty-six episode production released by Studio AIC back in 2000, which is the same studio behind several recognizable anime like Ga Rei Zero, Heaven’s Lost Property, and Strike Witches. It was co-directed by Ryosuke Takahashi (Flag, Cyborg 009) and Masashi Abe (Tokko), and is written by Katsumi Hasegawa. The entire series was binged-viewed with English subtitles on a DVD release on Funimation’s classics line. There is an additional movie that rehashes the series with some new scenes and a different ending... See full review

I loved watching this one! So you get the plot of the story through about half of this video, and I was sad for the main character and happy at the same time, but mostly sad. Animation was fantastic, loved how everything was detailed and was very smooth and bright, even in the dark portions of the anime. Sound was equally fantastic, was a great song throughout the video and was fun to listen to. You don't really get the character at the beginning, but then as the anime progresses you start to see the situation and feel for this character. Overall this is a great one to watch and I will probably watch... See full review

A cheap copy of Evangelion and Darling in the Franxx [minus the ecchi part]. The MC looks just like Shinji and the story needed more depth [it was as disappointing as DArling in the Franxx ending], Not the worst I have seen but not a great anime either.

so I tried watching this anime since my friend highly recommended it to me since I love "fairy tale", but this anime tends to throw sexual themes at you every second and it's just obnoxious. I love the animation, plot, etc. but I can't sit through an episode because I just get really bugged sksksk. I understand that the jokes made were playful, but to me, it was just really annoying. otherwise all the jokes the anime would probably be so amazing so I hate that they decided to add them, so if you don't mind these types of jokes then I would totally recommend it.

I felt this season was a bit more over the place compared to the previous seasons. There first 2 seasons had more of a story element to the skits while addressing topics but that's been somewhat replaced with even shorter skits, like skits in a skit. Some of the girls have fallen out of flavor again or have turned back into a one line running joke while we are introduced to new faces that don't have the same kind of impact as the girls we already know and love. Kaere has become just the panty shot girl again, Mayo doesn't really make an appearance but the running joke of the dog with a stick up its butt... See full review

This is the first anime I've rated something under a 10; and it's not a typo! Even though I love harem and especially reverse harem, this one was actually pretty good though it had some....wtf parts.  Story: I rated the story 9/10. I think people can agree with me that most (I say, most) parents, especially the newly wedded ones, would not leave a teenaged girl with 13 teenaged boys! Not one, not two, 13! Plus, that's a little unrealistic! I mean, sure one was adopted and there was the triplets but still, really? And sure, who wouldn't fall in love with her? (Poor Yusuke) so, yeah, 9! But....I... In short, the show spends about half or 75% following the writer from his point of view, and then the rest is from the cat's point of view. While during the writers point of view the cat is a normal cat. Like it doesn't talk. However, during the cat's point of view you can hear the cat's thoughts and see flashbacks from the cat. In fact, the one thing I'm wondering is if this based on real life due to the writer thing.  The overall story seems to be how a cat changes an introvert to be a better person, and the person changes the cat to have a better personality.  There honestly isn't much bad I... STORY: The story follows a bunch of people in their early 20's, showing both their struggles and happy times in a believable, relatable way. The show manages to be both funny and sad, just like real life, and it managed to make me cry more than a handful of times (which is saying something, because I don't cry easily). You would think that it would slide into a soap opera after some time, but nothing is ever over the top. And it doesn't shy away from adult topics either. ANIMATION: While there are a few derpy moments now and then, overall the animation and character design is highly realistic. The... See full review

Finally, I’m one show closer to my goal of clearing my currently watching list of all the spring 2018 anime, with me just finishing this show and WOW. There are so many feelings right after finishing this show, for one it’s absolutely beautifully animated with every shot of Theresa’s eyes reminding me of the beautiful eyes in Hyouka, and not to mention the whole general atmosphere and background of the show was so warm and cozy to be a part of. The show itself wasnt bad actually, the animation and sound was amazing the characters were unique and intresting except for one. Serena just ruined the whole show for me, she was just made for fan service and to have a crush on the main protagonist. This anime would have been 10/10 if it weren't for the ending. They need to make a season 2 where Shio wakes up and it was all a bad dream. Now to the actual review: NON SPOILER SECTION  The anime itself was pretty good for horror; definitely sent shivers down my spine a couple times. The show did some great things in the city building department and we got introduced to some cool characters that do stand out but we never really dove into any of these characters so it really felt like a wasted opportunity. The show started to feel repetitive in the way it deals with problems and that was mainly because it didn't want to deal with controversy or add proper consequences. So we were left with a feel good show that didn't have any real stingers. The show tries to paint us a picture of how massive everything is in this world but it won't let us enjoy these environments, instead we spend... See full review

Incredible battle animations, the best I've seen in Dragon Ball ever. Since it's a movie it will feel rushed compared to the dragged out series, but I could really have gone for a 20 episode mini series with Broly. The show has some well developed and bright characters who also share some great chemistry but I do feel the skits are a bit of a hit and miss however. Some skits will be excellent and memorable but there are also plenty of skits that are forgettable or will leave you scratching your head. But let’s be real, you only watch this show for the characters and the characters are all in contention for best character of the season.  I personally appreciate the animations a lot, a show that has mastered the horror/thriller elements in comedic situations.

I treked on, coming to understand what the hell was going on. By the last two episodes, I was exhausted. They were not the most satisfying, so I went on to End of Evangelion (the movie). I did watch it to the end but grew very tired of the same old character types, with a lot of the episodes feeling like filler, doing nothing to move the story or develop the characters. This tosses series consistancy out the window. In fact, they re-drew scenes that they could have just taken from the first season, for example. Season 1 had a trial scene where Rin is encased in a blue crystal. Here, he is kneeling when they flashed back. Also there is a past arrest scene that dose not appear in season 1. Sooo what gives? Did no one tell them that they can and should use the actual footage, it will cost less too. Aside from that, it the characters were acting like major parts of season 1 never happened. I pushed myself to watch all 26 episode of this since it is rated 4 out of 5 stars. I was hoping it would get better after the first 4 episodes, but nothing changed. I dont have high expectations for anime and I enjoy almost everything I watch in some way or form, but I fail to understand why this one has such high ratings. There really isnt much of a plot, only some very small side stories among the characters sprinkled about. I enjoy side stories, but with the entire show being so bland and dry of story, there really wasnt much to enjoy. The charecters werent really all that likable or relatable in... See full review

First some items I need to adress. I'm Dutch to expect some spelling errors, if they are to annoying just message me and I'll fix it. My opinion may vary from others and this is fine. People are different so there is a good chance that I will not like what you love. Deal with it. I'm not telling you that you should hate it too, I'm telling you why I didn't like it. I'll try to keep swearing to a minimum but fail utterly on occasion. In general it is the more the anime pisses me off the more I swear so watch out for the low scored ones.
Art: Art is fine as it should be for a modern anime. There is... See full review

Sound! Euphonium 2

Term (in case you don’t know): KyoAni - Kyoto Animation, the anime studio that made this show. You know guys, it really is amazing to me how often KyoAni can make the most emotional, heart-wrenching shit I have ever seen, and this series is no exception. Sound! Euphonium was such an enjoyable watch all the way through, that it kind of makes me mad that it took me so long to get around to watching it. From the very first moment Hazuki named her tuba “tubacabra” I knew I was going to love this anime, I just did know how much, until now. Like, guys, I don’t think I can really get... See full review

Note: There has only been 9 ep out on this as of writing this. But I have a good feeling things won't change by that much. I'm not going to get into what this is about since the description does a good job. But to start with, this is pretty hard to see as a herem. The "romance" comes off in a highly believable way. In fact, I'm up to ep 8 right now and none of the women really has flat out fought any other women for the guy, said they love him, or anything like that. The guy however hasn't shown the slightest of wanting to be with them. Like he is treating this as a purely professional job. And... See full review

Accel World

An unforgettable show by Reki Kawahara, “Accel World”. If you don’t know who he is, maybe “Sword Art Online” would help you. Or if you don’t know what is that, then maybe you live behind a rock. It’s a demographic show produced by Sunrise. Such a wild world and the relationship between fiction and reality. More futuristic technology. There was no longer a computer. People prefer to live in such a fictional world. Beyond the boundary, a fighting game science-fiction involving all players in the royal battle survival game. The sense of geeky and nerdy united into an... See full review
