This anime was another inspiration for me. Let me explain: I have some kind of "tradition" to add more scenes or new plot with same characters, all in my mind, and later in some writing app.  One of my anime character prototype, Renai-chan, is basically Nozomi but with short white hair and visible cat ears.  While Fumino seemed like Katyusha from Girls und Panzer series (especially when she was fighting with Chise, mostly in Theatre/Special episodes. But the personality of Chise was pretty similar to Katyusha, or even to Taiga Aisaka from ToraDora.  I watched this anime while I... See full review

A very educational representation of the seven deadly sins and Christianity. As a scholar of ancient Catholic text, I approve the religious teachings of this anime based on the catechisms of the Catholic Church by Pope Pius the II  in the ecumenical council of Trent. He preached that the 7 deadly mortal sins consist of a furry, a Loli, and tsunderes, and use magic. People pray to angels and Michael the archangel was a girl.   I give this anime 10/10 for symbolism, plot, and deconstruction of Christian beliefs.

Kuroko's Basketball: Last Game

“Kuroko’s Basketball: Last Game” is, you know, the last game. Sometimes, there are meetings but there are farewells too. Sometimes, you’ve to get onto a new level to understand what’s making you stand in there on a stage. “Last Game” comes with a movie and one of the least anticipated after two years from various media who’ve notified it. But, the movie didn’t really fit me even though this is the one that still shows some intense or anything like “Kuroko’s Basketball” in general. But, nope. I don’t really think that this is one... Oof... Not that it's a bad show but it's way too sweet for my liking, I really struggled to work my way through it. I was waiting and hoping for a little bit of a plot twist but nope... the whole series is just about the nicest people on the planet doing the cutest thing and having fun with all their happy friends. Everything is just amazing, cute and wonderful. I did struggle with Takeo doing the narration. They make 'm sound as if he's a 4 year old boy in a 15 year olds body. It's super odd.

As someone who loves the managa so much that it is one of a handful of 5 stars... I'm really dissappointed with this adaptation. The story is a generic Isekai. Guy goes to a different world, makes friends and meets a girl. The only difference is that he's just 10 years younger. It sets up some amusing situations, but its not really that in depth or fantastic. its more about the "gaaahhhhhhh OMG!!! ffffff!" moments than anything else. Animation is fantastic. It has this switching between normal anime look and low resolution/chibi stuff for effect that makes half the scenes amazing, half... See full review

I did'nt know what to think about this anime, and I ended up liking it a lot. There wasn't really a plot, just we've got some un-human things going on and lets take care of it, last couple of episodes actually formed a small plot though. Animation was fantastic as well as the characters in it. Probably could of used small background info on some of them, but it went through the end ok. Couldn't really get past the beginning theme, but the ending was pretty good. Overall this was something good to watch and I look forward to watching it again at some point.

I enjoyed Blue Exorcist very much, I watched all of it in about 2-3 days.

The reveals are very, well done in my opinion and I couldn't of really asked for more.
I found the animation quite good. The story archs of the characters are displayed well and the story overall is really well crafted.

I think why I really enjoyed blue exorcist is because the main character is relatable in a sense and his family sticks with him no matter what, and although he's very different to everyone else his friends pull through too, I guess it's very inspiring, at least for me.

And who can... See full review

I don't think the story is a cliché but somehow it doesn't feel refreshing the way other anime feel like. I like the whole idea that words have a hidden truth to them but I think that it could have been portrayed better, sometimes it felt a little forced when they talked about it. The animation is amazing, I really liked that they didn't do 'the regular' shots and chose to put some unconventional parts in there (the position of the seagulls at the beginning, for instance). The sound, especially the song at the end is great and I would recommend listening to it. The characters aren't that special but... See full review

Let's just say this was 'interesting' also this is my first review so let me know if I mess up. STORY Essentially, Haruka, a tall girl moves in with Kanata and her Grandparents, she then becomes fond of playing beach volleyball after meeting the National Champion pair at the beach. From there, Kanata a former player herself pairs up with Haruka and their aim is to reach Nationals. Not gonna lie, it doesn't sound that interesting, but it was executed fairly well. ANIMATION Ok, the animation was quite nice and very bright, if it had poor animation then I probably wouldn't have bothered watching it... See full review

I'm a little torn on how to feel about this movie.  As a whole, it's great; it has action, betrayal, suspense, drama...etc.  It's certainly a good movie, but not one to really watch unless you can give it 120% of your attention.  It also has a great deal of faults...one of which legit prevented me from enjoying the latter half of the movie because I was too busy scratching my head in confusion. Plot The movie opens up with Dazai's days in the Mafia as he and his partner (Chuya) have tracked down a madman who just seems to be throwing gems into a fire for an unknown reason after a bloody...  The character design got shittier as the show progressed, the story went downhill real fast and all the characters really started to look the same. The changes to the game in order to porgress the story was rediculous . The whole concept of Musiubi and having a much stronger Sekirei living inside of her that in the end just gets outperformed made the whole concept a waste and uninteresting. The promised 'fight' between Musubi and Karasuba was uninteresting and extremely poorly executed besides the extremely short fight animation sequence .  There are so many loose ends to... I absolutely adore this anime. It's my all-time favourite. People don't like it because of the plot, well tough shit. There's millions of shitty plots out there, and yeah the more I watch it the more the plot falls apart, but I don't care.  My favourite thing about this anime were the characters. The confusion of being 29 in an 8 year olds body. Barely able to remember anything. The reality of emotions without it being disgusting loli fanservice. The lack of panty shots! There was no sexual fanservice and I loved that. It's so hard to find that in modern anime, and it was so nice. And the mother... See full review

The only redeeming qualities of this anime are the art and the gay subtext. It's basically softcore porn. The plot captured my attention for like 4 episodes before I got irritated with it. It's overly complicated and obvious that nothing is actually being risked. Just play russian roulet you psychos! You wanna bet your life then don't introduce some ridiculous cheating! Put the bullet in the gun and shoot! I was so looking forward to that episode and it was a huge dissapointment! That's when I just got pissed with the whole series. Also- the random loli character? I loved the origional Seven Deadly Sins and enjoyed the concepts and stories in Sighns of a Holy War but this new season seems lack luster by comparison. *(Spoilers)* Not to say this season isnt good, new characters like Escanor and the arcs at the beggining (Ban and his dad/Elane, King and Diane's story and the Sins' powering up with the druids) were all great, along with the rest of the first half of the season. Even then, parts of the second season were still good, the commandments, Hendrickson's redemption etc. But the reason I say its lack luster is because the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. It... Much better than the first season; there are still some funny moments, but the comedy was toned down a lot in order to amp up the drama.  Some things I had nitpicked in the season 1 review were explained as well, making me wonder why they didn't just put this out as a 24 episode series to begin with (even the episode numbering continues at 13 with the first episode of this season). Plot There are two plots in this; the first spans episodes 1-4 and goes into Dazai's past and how he came to be with the Agency, and episodes 5-12 deals with what was dropped in episode 12 of the last season. Nothing much to say about it, really. Just your average abstract MV with acid-trip visuals.

Personally though, I enjoy watching psychojello shit and the images blended well with the music imo.

My only gripe with it is that they sometimes repeated the same visuals. To me, doing that with an abstract MV seems lazy.

So if you like trippy shit and don't mind seeing the same visual more than once, you'll probably like it.

While this anime did have me hooked, and I would call it a "page turner" in terms of events, it does have some shortcomings which is probably due to it being stuffed into 12 episodes (technically 11, as the 12th episode should have gone into the second season). It's still enjoyable, no doubts about that; mostly as a comedy, however.  In terms of laugh out loud moments, it has a lot. Story Atsushi was kicked out of the orphanage he had been staying at and was living on the streets for a couple weeks until he winds up pulling someone out of the river.  From there, his luck turns around... And well, as far as shounen animes goes, this one is pretty darn flawless. That being said there are still moments I find questionable/hysterical, like Deku going 1,000,000 on us (slight spoiler I guess) I thought that was hilarious. Then he started saying detroit and it sound like a man gurgling on water trying to speak. I just sat there laughing and shaking my head at the sheer ridiculousness of that part. The animation is not the best, but the plot is very nice. Although it's a BL, China's laws make it a normal "bromance." There are 20 episodes and each is about 20 minutes. The story stops with an open end and leaves some mysteries unsolved because the story continues in the novel. There is also a manhua adaptation, but it's currently behind the donghua (they have more BL scenes in the manhua). All the 20 episodes are available with English subs online for free ..... but whether or not you can find them depends on where you search.........

The typical Gundam series is a space epic, filled with politics, drama, intrigue, tactics, technology, and so forth. There's narration and exposition about the conflict at large (usually between space and earth). The battles are over the top. There's a huge cast of characters, but always with one small group making a big difference, thanks to the idealistic drive of the main character. It's been done so many times that it's formulaic now - the original Gundam, Zeta, SEED, 00, Unicorn are all copies of each other with some variations. 08th MS Team maintains some of these elements but dials everything back... Main character is kind of like setsuna if you made him schizo and antisocial instead of unsocial (I know thats kind of oversimplifying it).  But the story is an embarrassment to the name. Its worth watching as it is a great series, but as a Code Geass title: its a disappointment.

The season was a something to make fans who waited for this third season to be proud of. The openings, where awesome and good to listen to, as well catchy, the story got better and the character devolpment where great.

Completely over the top action pached movie with exremely goofy characters and adult themed storyline. It has a FLCL vibe to it but with with a much lower production value.

I originally started this show because the art style was nice and because I really like action anime. I was not at all disappointed with this show! Story Every single episode had me hooked and pumped for the next one. Instead of feeling like everything is set up and leading up to something, it feels like the eb and flow of real life. This is especially shown through the constant reset of Mob's explosion percentage. Instead of it being a big thing that happens once, it is constantly flowing through his everyday life. The story is very action-packed and can feel pretty dark while still being... See full review

Ga Rei Zero Review  The following review is for Ga Rei Zero, a twelve-episode anime series released back in 2008, which for a long time has remained a personal favorite of mine. (Ga Rei Zero is my profile picture) It was co-produced by Studio AIC (Blue Gender, Humanity Has Declined, Heaven’s Lost Property) and Studio Asread (Future Diary, Corpse Party). It was directed by the now-famous director Ei Aoki, (Fate/Zero, Aldnoah.Zero, Re:Creators) and the series was written by a fellow named Katsuhiko Takayama (Future Diary, Aldnoah.Zero, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia). Finally, this anime production... See full review

This show is a mix of high school of the dead and Madoka Magica, except toned all the way down. Really good concept but 0 shock value and leaves you wanting something more. You won't even get a single good glimpse at a zombie.  I wanted to watch something scary for the halloween season, and I'll say that this show's first few episodes had me thinking it would be a 10/10. But all logic is 0/10. *this is the spoiler part where I talk about the dumb stuff -Pointless and obligatory pool and bathing suit scene. -one single teacher held the key to future, the zombie antidote, in her hands? -They... An absolutely gorgeous movie with 2 absolutely well developed main characters. Where Akira is known for the best animations I'd be willing to say that Your Name is one of the most gorgeous movies ever created. The story is executed really well and I felt they ended the movie in quite a cool and unique way. The body swapping was handled with a lot of care but I do understand there couldn't be the same kind of care when it came down to the cellphones which they used to keep track of their activities. It would have shown dates and it would have made them both aware that they were dealing with a... See full review
