Having just finished watching this, I find myself conflicted over how to feel about this anime. The last three episodes went to far for me in terms of negative content. (Too much violence, torture, sex, and perversion.) Yet, I found myself strongly caring about the characters and what would happen to them. Also, I kept wondering whether a solution to the conflict other than extermination of one side or the other would be possible. On that last question, the anime makes one hope and despair by turns. The anime is chock full of suffering, and some of those forms of... See full review

If you like SAO, or want to find a anime similar to it but with better story, characters, action, etc. Then you have to watch this anime!! I can't explain how great this anime is! it's like if SAO and Death Note had a kid, it has the concept of SAO, and the story, action, characters, etc of Death Note. that's the best way to describe it. 100% recommend!!See full review
WARNING!: Watch at your own risk. Movie may fill you with so many emotions that you'll feel compelled to shrink 4 inches tall and go live under bricks in a garden somewhere. Viewers may also face slight depression because Arrietty is too small to be with Sho (╥﹏╥)See full review
This is a beautiful adaption of the book by Dianne Wynne Jones by the Masterful animation studio Ghibli.
Like all of his works, Hayao Miyazaki introduced us to yet another gorgeous world of magic with an equally engaging
The movie has taken some creative liberties in trimming away unnecessary plotlines and few characters
from the book.
But despite this change the story is brilliantly woven back together which didn't stray too far from the source. The picturesque animation interspersed with melodious background music sets the mood for the whimsical and mystic

OK, so there are a lot of both good and bad reviews, but so far I haven't seen any mentioning some of the crucial problems of this anime, so here we are.
First things first - I didn't hate nor love this anime, my opinion on it is "Well... Okay I guess?" and I've watched two seasons and movie. It has zero to none good points, but it doesn't have anything too bad that would made me hate it.
Here is a list of things that'll say you're probably not going to enjoy this anime: you value story a lot you hate OP characters you hate badly written OP characters you... See full review
NEGATIVES: This is a rather strange anime. The character is not affected by any of the events which unfold in the anime, and soon after, she simply moves on, forgetting all about what happens. In that sense, this is a weirdly "episodic" anime where every episode makes the protagonist behave like nothing happened previously. The protagonist also has absolutely no sense of responsibility in sorting out any situation which she could sort out with ease. At times, the story is unnecessarily edgy, throwing in gore and violence, where it would have been better without. At times, the protagonist's... See full review
It was great. Well I'm not really of fan of cg animation but I do like the ones with good quality like soul island. After 3 seasons I finally thought they would have the 3 year agreement in 4th season but what the hell??? I like the character development. Our mc is quite cool and low key. Well I enjoyed but I really wanted to see the match between Nalan Yanran and XIAO YAN. To think that the season ends at the scene when he comes to her sect for the match...ahhh I nearly threw my phone away. Now, I wonder how long I have to wait for the next season. Well anyways I like a part of the ending. You... See full review

Why is this funny or cute? If in real life your boyfriend or girlfriend treats you like that, break up with him or her, it's not funny to live with someone like that, who insults you for the slightest thing, because he or she doesn't know how to express himself or herself, it's sad and the person should get treatment. It's the kind of person who hits you "for love" because he or she can't admit his or her feelings, it's unhealthy, ridiculous and sad to show that, it shows a bad image to the young people who will tell themselves in their future relationships that it's totally normal to behave like... As a huge fan of the web novel, I found it incredibly disappointing. The sound and animation were mediocre, fairly bland but not offensive for the most part. I can't say I appreciated the "interface" text being so difficult to read, but tolerable. My greatest complaint is that they seem to have utterly butchered the main character's voice. No, not the literal voice work, the writing. The web novel read as a near mocking of traditional isakei stories: an actual real life adult who has a job and has had sex and everything gets isakei'd and powerleved to full stop Over... To be honest, I'm a little surprised. In the sense that the ova is actually irrelevant. Yes, it is the transition between seasons 1 and 2 and shows the aftermath and current situation of the protagonist's girlfriend from season 1.
"Possibly" this would have played a role later, but since this is irrelevant to season 2 and probably would have only been picked up again in season 3, there is no need to watch it.
It's just an everyday life episode, even if the average quality of this ova episode, exceeds the individual anime... See full review

As time goes by, you notice more and more which anime "Darling in the Franxx" was inspired by. And this is another one of them, as far as the second season is concerned. This season hangs right on the heels of the last episode, including the Ova and follows the new events from season 1 with a pretty fast pace, especially at the beginning. Honestly, I had high hopes for this season as it got off to a pretty solid start and possessed a pretty interesting implementation and portrayal of the vigilante theme.
Together with the new third protagonist of this season... See full review

From my personal preference, this anime, or I say a life story of hardship and joy, nothing beats it. this anime might have old graphics and old designs but you must try it twice before skipping or dropping it. I just wanna say I am truly grateful to those who made this with brilliant perception. I have waited and looked for many years for something closer to this category but found nothing. I might not ever found that. truly amazing. I hope Kyoto animation would make something similar like that as "A silent voice".See full review
This isn't really gonna have spoilers but do read at your own risk in case I do spoil something for yourself. Pros: Pretty funny, Well drawn animations and kickass sounds. Cons: It needed more story. Very confusing mess of random information and animation, comma the put together in some weird ass situation.. I would like a little bit more story to my beat Em UPS, not a superstore guy but I do tend to look at if the information makes sense and this Does not. TLDR: Typical isekai OP protaganist but with limitations. Anime rushes some parts, but overall not bad. ================================================================== As adaptions go this is far from the worst out there but it definutely suffers from jumping from scene to scene rapidly and rushing through story points. They did well to fit a large amount of content into just 12 episodes, although it could of probably done with a few more episodes to prevent it from feeling so rushed in some episodes. If you enjoyed this show definutely give the manga a read as it goes into more detail on a lot of... See full review

No spoilers- K-on follows the lives of five high school girls from their enrollment into highschool to their graduation. Coming together through the light music club, the girls become inseparable from their music as well as one another. What made this anime stand out to me is how intimate the viewers were with the club and its members. We were with them through thick and thin, while they were nervous, excited, and upset. It was all the episodes that deviated from the original plot, such as them shopping or on their school trip, that helped create a total picture of their high school lives. The path... See full review
No spoilers- Mushoku Tensei is one of the funniest animes I've seen in a while. After being hit by a truck, our protagonist is reincarnated into another world, but starts his journey off as an infant. Primed with his knowledge and memories from his previous life, Rudy is ready to take on the world and whatever it brings him! This anime stands out to me as it completely flipped standard isekei tropes by having the protagonist start his journey off as a baby; truly starting from square one. It was hilarious to be privy to his grown adult thoughts and his commentary really made a lot... See full review
Never read the manga So my perspective on the show is limited af. Overall is still a good anime show that I enjoyed up until just finishing the last episode which I thought was horrible felt like it was being dragged & the fact that even on the last episode we still see no development in Takemitchy after everything he went through is just annoying at this point but since I did not read the manga I don't know the context leading up to a possible next season if that's even going to be a thing. Main problems - Jesus Christ 1-24 epsiodes & still no CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Imagine being 25... See full review

I really wanted to rate this higher, but I couldn't allow myself to give it 4 full stars. If you watch the Slice of Life BLs often I'd say the story is typical for the genre. I loved the characters, I actually felt that they had some depth, if not a whole lot. Yes, both the relationships in this anime have toxic qualities and yes, there is an underage student-teacher relationship involved. It made me uncomfortable for them to be talking about "three years ago in elementary school" and then have a scene making out with the teacher. However, if you can put all that aside (I know it's asking a lot)... See full review
I don't rate an anime highly very often, but this 1 in particular exceeded my expectations by quite a margin. The story is very unique and fascinating. Each episode was a surprise and always kept me coming back to see more. I'd highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to watch the first few episodes and give it a try, even if this is not a genre you would typically watch.See full review
This is 1 of those animes where you have to watch it entirely to truly appreciate how great it is. Initially I watched this based on someone elses recommendations and I wasn't really sure what to expect. The story was somewhat interesting at first but then you start to realize the real meaning behind everything as you watch it furthur. It wasn't until the very end when it hit me. Overall this was a great anime.See full review
This anime has an interesting story more on the sinister side, and will really play with your emotions. There are a variety of interesting characters unique in their own way, and the character development is pretty good as well. Honestly I really liked this anime however it was a little too dark for my taste.See full review
It's been awhile since I've seen this anime however from what I remember, the main character isn't necesarily gifted, he just possesses and unsual weapon, a shield. Up until that point nobody has had a defensive weapon so this really makes him stand out. The story is fairly typical, the protagonist meets a variety of women with different personalities, and encounters numerous threats with some character development. Overall the anime isn't a bad watch, I liked it. It's just nothing special and doesn't stand out in any particular way.See full review
Despite appearing like your typical Isekai at first glance with a main character that becomes absurdly powerful, this anime has an interesting and unusual plot. By the end of the season you're not even sure if what you're initial impression of each of the characters is actually true. Personally I think this is 1 of the better isekai stories. The only area I feel like this anime really struggled with was some of the 3d animations.See full review

could not get over the fact that they basically recycled the characters from fairy tail... watched only two episodes...could not watch any more . the story seemed decent ...but couldn't get into itSee full review
It's a good anime an all but what I dislike is the fact that the last few episodes are like background information, which makes the storyline a little jumbled. For instance it goes from the war arc to the origins of Sophia and the protagonist human form, it just makes the story confusingSee full review
The Eleventh Striker is home of the epic trick shots. This fact cannot be more evident than in the epic climax/showdown between Conan and the culprit at the end of the film in the collapsing stadium. Besides all of the trick shots by the 10 strikers in the film and the Detective Boys, this film really stands out in terms of its action sequences. The mystery was very surface levela and the codes were way easier than a normal DC mystery. The worst part about this movie, though, was certainly all of the convenient plot devices where characters randomly show up and spell everything out for Conan and friends... See full review

Interesting Anime, but the story is not concluded. For all the explanations they did, it sure amounted to literally NOTHING because they did not FINISH the anime. It's a big shame, but it's not uncommon with anime. 9/10 Anime, because the anime incorporated a ton of some of my favourite concepts. Demons, super fast OP characters, training scenes, ect. The Anime wasn't particularly good, but I personally enjoyed it very much. --- Also, ignore the clown in the reviews who's butthurt about nudity. This anime is a slice-of-life comedy, and it does its job extremely well. If you're looking for a light-hearted series which doesn't use "clickbait" methods (aka, cliffhangers at the end of each episode), then this is the one. Fans of K-on! will also enjoy it; it's made by the same studio (which is noticable from the first part of the animation). -- Story There honestly isn't really much of a story as it's not only slice-of-life which changes the theme of each episode each time there's a new one (with only the final couple episodes containing a sort of "to be... Thanks this anime I realised what does "comfort anime" means. I really can't imagine my life without Uramichi Oniisan right now. The last episode was the best last episode in the world! But not just the last episode was so incredible...It isn't anime for everyone for sure. But if you like dark humour, sarcasm and little bit psycho things and people, you will love this anime. It hasn't a main plot, it's just about some stories from daily life, so some episodes are similar, but every episode still has something so special and some new perfect thoughts, so you won't be bored. I rarely get emotional over anime because im still fairly new to it. I've only watched anime for about 6-5 years or so.
but holy shit.
no other anime has put me in the spiral of emotions, no, no MEDIA has ever made me feel the way i felt watching this with my friends on discord.
if you want to watch an anime thats lives up to its fame. watch FMA. its popular for a reason.
I like everything about this one. The characters are engaging and unique. The animation is pretty. There is humor and a story without much conflict. There is even a bit of focus on food, a personal favorite. These are all positive things to me and done well, yet I find myself stalling on this one quite a bit. I will watch a few episodes and then stop .... for months.... it's been over six months since I have watched this at all. For this reason, I am giving it a six instead of higher.See full review
I found this to be a really great food anime. I was hesitant at first due to the animation style. I tend to like really pretty animation. This one is in the older style similar to its predecessor that came out in the late 90s. It won me over with its characters and plot. This is a food anime that keeps it focus on food while adding in layers of story.See full review

Generally, I am a big fan of food anime. This one is a decent one. The focus is on the food and restaurant more than the characters. The animation style is nice. There is little to no conflict. Many people say that TR is mediocre anime with too much hype. I partly agree but let me tell you why it is so highly rated. Even though the story has plot holes, there are problems with many things that make no sense, it is still a great anime. I feel like anime consistently focuses on particular actions that catches viewer's eye, attention and emotions. Most new watchers simply fall for it and judge anime based on that while experienced watchers know what's wrong with this anime as a whole. That's why there are 2 groups of people when it comes to judging TR. 1 group says it is one of the best anime while... See full review
