I wasn't to keen on this one, but I wanted to give it a chance and watch it all the way through. Unfortunately it still didn't get too much further for me then ok. Plot for this one has the main character wondering who he is and what is he supposed to be doing type of thing. During this journey he meets others like him, or used to be, and gets thrust into a situation he can't avoid and ultimately helps him as well as others in the process. Animation was a good style and I did like that a lot. Had a very different feel during the battle scenes. Sound was alright, just based on music. The opening sequence... See full review

The Quintessential Quintuplets

Quintessential is a very charming, and I’ll admit, a cute story.  I can’t say for certain who he does marry as shown at the beginning, but there are solid clues.  It becomes obvious he met st least one of them before.  It’s a subtle but clear mark of foreshadowing.  If this is supposed to be a destiny story where he meets his first and only love again, then we can rule out those sisters that don’t recognize his old pic or remember meeting him before.  It isn’t even clear if any of them do actually remember him after he changed his look and habits but... Didn't realise how short this was until I hit play. She and her cat is a very inviting, alluring anime and well worth the watch during your coffee break. You'll be taken through the story by a special narrator (not the owner) and he'll describe his love and feelings towards her. It's a very emotional story and very well written, you'll not regret watching it!

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a set in high-school where Futaro Uesugi, a well performing student with excellent grades stumbles across five sisters who need a tutor. With his family struggling and in debt, Futaro makes it his mission to be the best tutor and help the girls through high school. Of course, this isn't going to be as easy for Futaro as he'd hoped as he's met with 5 very different personalities, but 5 almost identical twins, all of whom aren't too keen on being tutored. We follow Futaro as he learns more about each sister, with some episodes focusing more on each relationship built... See full review

“See, this show's what having a good director can do for your fuckin' show. You can make A-1 Pictures look like a competent studio. That's fucked up!” -DEEsidia from REVEL HOUSE, 2019

Pride is cruel and ignorance is bliss, and when love is war, feelings are the casualties. Kaguya-sama is this concept taken to a hilarious extreme, with two teenage egotists trying to manipulate each other into confessing their feelings as every idea they ever had gets trampled on. This show thrives off its comedic timing, with tons of audiovisual flair, character chemistry, and wild ideas for our main... See full review

This is my first review so bare with me :) I saw this anime had a couple really low reviews and after watching it I just had to set the record straight STORY
This story is absolutley incredible and this has become one of my favorite anime! In the begining it has a pretty common premise of an average person being summoned into a fantasy themed world, but they add in the save point factor, which is whenever Subaru dies he is respawned at his last save point with all his memories including his (usually extremely brutal) death and the deathes of the people around him. I won't go to much into it to... See full review

This anime is very much girl into girl plot, with some magic spells. There is a lot of the emotional anguish of girls growing up and how they will be seen by others. Not really family friendly, though no actual nudity is seen if I remember correctly. The episodes are around 15 mins long.

This review will be spoiler free, aside from revealing the overall tone of the show.  The Promised Neverland is a compelling thriller that utilizes sound and animation to form an effective tone.  In particular it’s use of sound effects and music serve to build tension and create emotion. Story(10/10): While I can’t reveal much of the story’s contents, it remains a tense thriller with incredibly high stakes should the main children fail in their task or be caught.  From the beginning the show always feels off, even before revealing its hand in how it will terrify the... "Dumpster on fire" - Gigguk. Domestic-na-kanojo portrays a life of a student who is in love with his teacher. It has got that first bite which makes you go "OH MY GAD!!" and then later on "Damm nibba". Even though the synopsis suggests a really interesting setting for a unique ride, it turns out to be the unexpected. I'm not complaining thou, but it was really unexpected. I don't want to spoil anything, but here we go. Story (7/10)

A feel-good anime. while the Protagonist is OP and never really feels like he/they/it (take your pick) is in trouble it keeps things fun and humourous. definatly worth a watch..... Except the last couple of episodes. In the theatre community we have a saying regarding musicals to the effect of "make sure you end with your best song" because the last song / episode is going to be the one people walk away thinking about, this anime leaves me thinking "why did i just waste 20 minutes" because it finished with not one but TWO RECAP episodes!

SPOILERS!!!: Story I got hooked when I started the anime. I am a musician myself (actually being a current pianist, and an ex-violinest). It started off really well. A boy with a heartbreaking back story of a child wiith a loving mother only wanting the best for her son, turned abusive after she got ill and started wanting her own dream a reality, rather than his. Music has emotion in it. People who have never played an instrument, or cared, might not be as into this anime.  Around the 10th episode, I started to lose interest. It was too repetitive, and quite borish. I decided... See full review

This was an enjoyable anime but basic, everything was ok and the characters all different from each other.  I can only imagine that it has such a high rating because of people new to anime.  The character development is weak, the story drawn out and even the places only slightly developed.  Its not really harem or echi or fully comedy.  It is easy to get through entertaining enough and if your a beginer to anime I recommend it as a starting point.  I wanted to give it 3.75 stars but that's impossible so I did the review.

So unlike the first season, it wasn't a big ad for a bunch of food products and that's a plus. But the crazy girl stays gone until the last 2 ep. Also, unlike the first season they cut down the ep length to almost half. They kept up the will they won't they be together even to the very end. So that never paid off. And what makes this worst, I think the manga stopped and there isn't going to be a season 3.  To be honest, I don't think the entire show is worth watching. See full review

I really enjoyed the concept of supernatural beings affecting the balance of power and how a vigilante highschool girl and a highschool girl known as the reaper try to maintain that balance.  The world is painted as a very dark and gloomy place. Without the right people keeping a watchful eye, it could all go wrong very fast. In a few short stories we follow Boogiepop and Nagi, how they deal with the interactions between supernatural beings and mankind. WorldEnd is an extremely amazing anime - one of my all time favorites for sure. It's definitely a "have to watch" series. Trust me, you won't regret it. But if you do start it, keep in mind that the feels will hit ya hard af. We really need a season two, and let's hope we get it one day. The story bases around William moving to a different island/city, meeting Chtholly, needing a job, then getting one as a guard (correct me if I'm wrong but it's been a while since I've watched it). When I watched this I was expecting the animation to be good but honestly it was low quality. The fighting scenes were awful. The fact that the main character looked nothing like Blood+'s character made me mad. She didn't even have the semi-same personality type as Blood+'s main character. Also the random scenes where she walking to school and singing take up most of the show like how many times do we have to hear her sing the same thing? Also the storyline was awful. I don't recommend this anime to anyone. I'm being too generous with the rating I gave.

Honestly, this season is feeling like things are just getting started. If there is no other season (which I'm assuming there will be), then I think this wouldn't be much of a watch. But assuming it is, I think this is worth watching when season 2 is out or around the corner.  In a nutshell, the main charater's dad gets mairred to the mom of some girl who he slept with less than 24 hours of finding out the 2 are together and she is the mom of a teacher he wants to be with. As you might guess, anime logic happens and he does end up getting in a relationship with the teacher and the girl. From there out... See full review

The story line is thrilling, the sound is fantastic ( I was awed at how real it sounded) and characthers very likeable. Why? Few anime have moved me to tears at least three times this anime movie helps immensily to understand how people with  disabilities/depression/bullied feel and what we can do to help others Prepare D tissues as you WILL cry ... and more than once.

when I watched the first anime, it had everything for me. All questions answered. Closure.  The second season, I have to say, really is something else. Sure it was out of nowhere but still. The two new characters, Claude and Alois are well written. Alois’ backstory is so twisted and elaborate that it caught me off guard. I haven’t cried for an anime in quite a while. Alois’ death scene had me in tears.  Sebastian and Ciel and all the others, still amazing and consistent.  In conclusion, great season, would recommend if you like something darker for a change.

1) JUVENILE RESOLUTION

The Promised Neverland was a complete let down. Although the kids managed to escape, it was done in a very juvenile way that makes you wonder if they needed to be smart in order to do something so simple. Just set something on fire as a distraction and swing across the chasm. That doesn’t sound like it required an IQ of 200 in order to work out, much less 12 episodes of careful planning. In fact most of it happened out of screen in the last 2 episodes.

2) NO ACTUAL PLOT PROGRESSION

I'm not particularly in the habit of giving out perfect scores, and I don't think it's because I'm overly cynical; it's more-so that my basic outlook (insofar as reviews) is that perfect scores should go to shows that are more-or-less perfect. Not literally perfect, necessarily, but near enough as damn, such that any complaints I might have would be incredibly nit-picky. And that's  The Promised Neverland in a nut-shell. It's incredible. Part of the show's genius is in the simplicity of its premise; in the year 2045, two orphans named Emma and Norman find out that Grace Field House, the place they... See full review

I just can’t deny how hype this anime was. “Senpai Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl” was inspired by many anime. One of them is “Monogatari” series and “Oregairu”. First question, why is the promotional poster like that? I know this is an “anime” but, why? It is very deceptive and it cannot be separated from my first thought which this is just typical... I don't know if I'm bias because I have seven cats of my own at home but I LOVE this show! This is the first time I cried because the ending was the sweetest thing. I couldn't deal with it!  I related to Subaru's character alot right off the bat because I want to be a writer AND I have social anxiety so the whole show I was rooting for him :) (also can I mention jesus christ I also want to protect the shit out of him Haru!) Haru is the friggin cutest thing ever (definitely my fav animated animal sorry). I liked that at the end of each episode we got to hear her thoughts. It never felt off putting or... See full review

When They Cry: Higurashi

It's hard to find good horror shows in anime. Either the shows struggle to maintain a good quality of storytelling (Future Diary), the plot twists just ruin the overall experience (Death Note), the characters go through a change that just makes them really unenjoyable (Death Note, Parasyte -the maxim-, Claymore), the cast gets ridiculous as the show goes on (GANTZ, Future Diary, Claymore) or the show turns into something completely different from it's opening concept (GANTZ, Elfen Lied, Parasyte -the maxim-, Deadman Wonderland). I watched Shiki right before When They Cry: Higurashi and I thought that Shiki... See full review

The Seven Deadly Sins Movie: Prisoners of the Sky

Honestly, I was hoping for a decent movie. This was just terrible. I know movies are filler for the most part, but this story was just a cringe snooze fest. I like the seven deadly sins a lot manga and anime this movie just didn't cut it. Animation and sound were fine it's just the story was abysmal. The fights were way too one sided and boring, there were few good jokes, the pacing was just awful too many uneccesary scenes. You could have cut at least 30 minutes out of it and then it might have been OK, not great, but OK. Overal 2/5 stars. Carried heavily by the sound and animation. The only really... See full review

So just like that, after 23 long weeks, we have finally reached the end of the road, and honestly guys, I couldn’t be any happier. This show, from beginning to end, was one of the most satisfying sport anime’s that I have seen in a long time. Like the last time I enjoyed a sports anime this much was with Haikyuu, but unlike Haikyuu, this show actually has a satisfying ending, there are no cliffhangers, there are no little tease to the possibility of there being a continuation, the story is closed, and I am completely 100% OK with this fact. To me the most surprising thing about the conclusion... See full review
