Violet Evergarden is by far one of the finest animes you will ever watch, and for several reasons.
First off, the story line. Suffering with a traumatic past, but not realizing it, Violet seeks to overcome the barrier between her and emotions by becoming a love letter ghostwriter for the illiterate population.
This show doesn't always focus on Violet, though. There's always Violet's underlying character development, of course, but in each episode, she becomes the side character for the side character, letting the story focus more on their problems and struggles, and how the war has infiltrated... Death note is the way of everything in this cursed world. Damn this is so so good. Everything from characters to sound is something godlike. People who like detective kind of anime will love this. People who like anime with great characters will love this. They really had a 200IQ moment when making script for this. I can tell you one think that is guaranteed is you surely will love this. Yakusoku no Neverland
The Promised Neverland
The Promised Neverland, Season 1 is arguably an oversized prologue, at least that's what I would call it. Unfortunately, since I don't know the manga, I can hardly say a word of comparison. Nonetheless, this first season is a symbol of how much you can get out of correct implementation. Instead of elongating this season unnecessarily, each episode was related to a specific topic. This resulted in a very solid structure and process. The atmosphere was almost always there, even if you could guess how things would go on, the process remained very... See full review

NO SPOILER - A story full of drama and twists, and, of course, some funny moments. The first series of BSD is where I would put this OVA. I really wouldn't publish this episode as a stand-alone OVA, but as a part of the season one. I still stand by my opinion that the first three or four episodes of the second season should have been selected as OVAs. However it doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed watching this episode! I recommend this OVA only to BSD lovers who have already seen the first and second seasons. Definitely don't start with this OVA, because you could spoil a lot of important things... See full review

This movie was a fantastic conclusion to an already fantastic series. I never personally played the Fate games so I don't truly know if the movie kept true to the source material but any newcomer into the Fate franchise, like I was a long time ago, would be able to enjoy the 3 movies without a problem. Overall this movie was a solid 9.5 out of ten for reasons I'll cover below. Story - The story is the finalization of the previous 2 "Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel" movies and serves as a nice wrap up to the animated "Heaven's Feel" path of the Fate games. It would have gotten a... See full review
This anime may be bad in other people's opinions but it's sort of that one show that simply has a pass in my mind. I wasn't watching this to get a big complete story but rather Sinbad is just an interesting character with interesting friends and I like watching them interact. I should put it out there that I also really hate magi and the fact that this was even a little better than that show might be why i like it so much. I also think that not every anime has to be watched with such a serious lense especially when you can tell it wasn't made to be more than a spin-off that promotes the... See full review
I really did like this anime. It has interesting characters and an over arching plot that you sort of saw but then realized it had nothing to do with what you thought it was. Everything except the final scheme in season 2 was amazing to me. All the characters were well fleshed out due to the structure of the whole show. Each scheme sort of digs into each of our MCs pasts and you learn more abt them. The art was super colorful and ALSO included poc characters which i am very grateful for. The story sort of always had you on your toes because you were wondering how they were going to get out of this mess this... See full review
I saw Arisu War as an offering on another anime site. I felt I had 15 minutes to kill, so .. why not? In the end, I enjoyed what I saw, but still am wondering what are the goals and purposes of the Girls Und Panzer Projekt. I mean, they produced a great 14-episode series ... and dynamic GUP der Film ... an ambitious multi-part GUP das Finale. Great stuff this, but what to make of all those OVA? Animation practice? The plot is simple ... down to simplistic. Young Arisu Shimada, military tactics prodigy par excellence wishes to transfer to Ouarai Academy. This... See full review
"If you went into outer space, it'd look exactly the same as the ocean." A film about cosmic connection disguised as a film about the ocean. I don't know what I expected from this movie, but this was not it. Parts of it I love, and parts of it, well... To start with, this movie was absolutely visually stimulating. The animation was fluid, and vibrant, and incredibly lovely from start to finish, with a special focus on the character's eyes. I'm a huge fan of surrealism, and that 10 minutes towards the end was a total surrealist masterpiece, on par... See full review

Imagine if JoJo went on a honeymoon with Tales From The Crypt. This is what Thus Spoke...is about about; a Manga Writer in the JoJo world solving ghost stories and confronting the ridiculous. Do you still have the same Stand action? Yes. Do you still have the same homo-eroticisim? Yes. But are the stories insanely creepin yet hilarious? Yes. NO SPOILERS - Anime "Bungo Stray Dogs" is my heart because the characters have really touched me. I love everyone, and I can't say that any of them are evil or good. Each has its own past and something that motivates this particular character. However, the story was so different at first that I would have published the first three or four episodes separately as OVA. Perhaps the story would be easier to understand in the form of films, because what happened in these few other episodes of BSD is incredible and complicated. If you are lovers of good action, drama and mystery, or surprise... See full review
Overall it was good but a I was a bit disappointing as i was expecting some badass fighting sceans as the other two seasons . The story was very good but it focused very less on meliodas than the other two season which made it a bit boring and the other seasons are much better than this one but , this is not the end and i am expecting some good sceans in he 4 th season.See full review

What the fuck was this lmao. This anime relies on the shock value rather than quality of the plot. So much unnecesary nudity and violence only for entertainment. Don't get me wrong, it's not that they made me uncomfortable because I already knew about them before starting this anime, but they don't serve any real purpose; they don't hold any meaning nor build the intensity of the plot, they are just there and that's it. I liked the ending tho, so I'm gonna grade it a bit higher than intended, but just know that you might get really bored watching this.See full review
Despite having fantastic visuals and sound design, Stardust Crusaders is destroyed entirely by having cliche on top of cliche that plagues so much in anime and that isn't even the worst aspect. While the show starts off kinda strong, having a mix of humor with some dark imagery, it quickly devolves into some of the most immature bulls**t I've ever seen, especially in the second season. The reliance on over the top closeups and stupid character phrases was something I could put up with. Resorting to fart and poop jokes, I cannot, at all. This is a show that is stamped with an MA rating, yet it often has... See full review
So this anime rides on the feels..
I must be sadistic cause I enjoyed all the sad moments..
This anime is a result of power scaling and story that and the fact that if two strong people (relic wielders) fight one must die... In this anime when you lose a fight it's death so I wasn't surprised that people died here and there..
The ending made me remember that the boy wasn't the main character.. Watch at your own risk.
This is my first real review so sorry for the grammar. It was okay, I didn't really like the teacher though he was weak and a bit of a pervert. The main female lead ( white cat) is annoying asf slapping the proffesor without knowing the reason for what he's saying. I also think that she maybe the love intrest of the main character ( proffesor) because of the last episodes of him proposing to the female lead. Although it was kinda to help her it shouldnt even be there espicially since the reason was so another PROFFESOR could stop harrasing her into marriage. Like bro she's 15 and the proffesor is 19... When the world of Tokyo Ghoul is filled with bloodthirsty ghouls that eat humans...The main character lacks the courage and resolve to protect everyone he cares for. If the main character never leads, how do you expect his subordinates to follow? This is a very dissapointing series despite it's tremendous popularity. A visual display of a horror anime filled with gore. The main character seems incapable of defending or protecting anyone. Here's a character that's legs are trembling and cowering in the middle of a crime scene. His face is full of sweat. The tears won't stop pouring down his eyes... See full review
had to drop this because this is literally just romanticised incest and pedophilia i hate this. the animation and quality of the anime aesthetically is gorgeous. but the characters are awful and the story is awful. i tried to give it a chance but, i really hate how this romanticises romantic relationships with minors.See full review
Death Note is a classic, a classic masterpiece. The story basically is a cat and mouse chase and it has been presented in an incredibly perfect way. The anime is probably the best psychological drama I have witnessed. The twists and the turntables are amazing. And the characters... the characters have probably been made in the most outstanding way. It also has amazing music, especially the greek chants reflecting the main character's will to become the God of the world, it all just is PERFECT. Overally this anime is what you can call a 10/10 perfection and is a must-watch.See full review
If you're here for the BL tag, it's not your typical yaoi/bl like say junjou romantica or super lovers where the relationship is fetisishised. It's a love story between two old soulds who happen to be two dudes. None of that uke/seme, stereotypical yaoi that fujoshis love to eat up. The fetishisation of gay men is a different topic for another day however. I really like how the relationship takes a back seat to the main story, but is still very much there.
Honestly this is probably one of my favourite animes (or the chinese variant of anime i suppose) I've ever seen. Not only does it have LGBT themes... See full review
The storyline/plot might get boring after a few eps for some ppl but I was HOOKED. Y'all HAVE to watch the last ep if you're planning to drop it. I have loved Food Wars from the very beginning. I didn't dislike the season like many seem to have. I do agree that it was way too rushed, and should have been at least a 24 episode season. They did not really utilize most of the good characters they developed. I would really love further seasons, but only if they can put the true dedication in like they did first 3. I don't want to see this as the end, but from everything the production company has said about it. This is probably the last plate. I really hate to see Soma go, but I did enjoy the meal.See full review
As many have said, the plot was pretty simplistic, but I don't always feel the need for overly complicated shows. The characters were likeable, and it flowed well. The ending was a bit anti-climactic, but that is not unusual with anime. They left themselves an in for possible future episodes, but unfortunately did not do so. Maybe someday... This is quite possibly the stupidest show to ever be made……and I love it more than I can say. Story - 5/10 For the most part the show follows your typical school life show, but in a much looser fashion than you might be use to. If there was ever a plot point in an anime series, then TDLoSK touched on it, though often in a mocking manner. Each episode is composed of five to six skits that appeared in the original web series, so every few minutes you get another completely random plot to follow, with only a few stories actually taking up more than one segment. The overall... See full review

Lemme say first things first. It was unique of them to make the protagonist "accidentally" killed, which is one of only a few unique places. The storyline is nice, but most of the characters are a pure rip-off. I felt like the 4 beasts were pretty close to the ones in Black Clover, and the protagonist the white version of Kirito (Signature coat is top-to-bottom, based on monochrome colors). The multiple wives system is a unique one but makes me feel like it was kind of ripped off from Konosuba. (Also the fact that the protagonist "uses" comrades to fight, unlike other isekai animes where... See full review

Although the animation isn't as desireable as people may like it to be the show is still the best sports anime out there. Because the story does a very good job of making you like the characters on the other team because obivously people are liking the Miya twins but also in the latest episode (7) they have just introduced Kita and although we have only known him properly for one episode I already like him. As well as this there is the match with nekoma which goes a bit into the back story of Kenma and Kuroo which is also a very good area (although when released people weren't very happy). The sound track... See full review
This is one of my favourite anime that I have watched. This is due to the fact that there is a good mix of humor and seriousness because the show I find that is extremely funny at certain points but also relatively serious at others. This is further inhanced by the classic MC being underestmated when ever they first meet them but soon come to regret that initial opinion. However they do not play with this too much because the MC has been made so that he doesn't get into unnecesarry fights and tries to find a peaceful way out of every scenario. It also has some good world building aspects with episodes that... See full review
This is such a pure romance that I've witnessed btw Riku and Schwi. I watched this not expecting to cry so much but it was too good *sobs*. This movie should also be tagged w 'romance', 'interspecies relationship' and 'non-human protagonist'. It'd be more accurate and appealing in my opinion. I was rlly touched by the plot that its main subject is about understanding the human heart. A very nice combi of romance and action. NGNL truly lives up to its reputationSee full review
In my opinion, the main purpose of this anime is comedy. While you may not get attatched to the characters, or learn a life lesson, it's still worthwhile if you just want to randomness to laugh at. Perfect for 2am anime binges. However, if you're looking for a more serious anime that you can ponder over, I don't think this is the anime for you. Overall, I think that it's exactly what it's meant to be, entertainment. As it had me hooked on the random shenanigans following Sakamoto and friends, I have to give it a passing score averaging at around 7.25. The animation helps to portray the characters in... So... I just came here for the BL, and I enjoyed it. BUT! the ending was too sad, that I liked it at the end. I mean it should've been a super- happy ending, Sei with Kai and Ichika with Manatsu FOREVER~~ But guess that's how it was planned.... This was a really funny anime that I honestly didn't expect to like at first, but actually ended up really enjoying. The characters are all unique, it's hard to pick a favorite because of how good they all are. I made the mistake of watching this before I watched gameplay of the game or watched any of the anime, so I was really confsued. I reccomend watching/playing the game or watching the anime before watching this like the other reviews suggest.
Anyway, after re-watching this with my new knowladge, I found that I really enjoyed it. I have to admit, my opinon is a tad biased since my favorite character from this series is Nagito Komaeda, and I'm a huge fan of Danganropna in the first place, but it's still a really intereting story that you should check out.

Devil May Cry I have no knowledge of the game series or any other diverse information regarding the DMC franchise. Accordingly, I can only rate this anime without any insider knowledge. This title starts out pretty incoherently. The protagonist named Dante accepts an assignment and has to fight his way through demons for several episodes. And then he takes the next one and so on. On the way to the goal there are more and more demons, there is shooting, there is blood and then comes the finale and ... big demons and even more blood and action. Maybe there is some comedy in the middle and... See full review
Great storyline. Amazing characters. Where did the anime go wrong. I honestly don't know but this show didn't give me the same feels as the manga did. As the manga is one of my favourites I am pretty disappointed as to how the anime turned out. The voice actors were mediocre, apart from usui's voice actor, and the animation just didn't seem fluid. It wasn't bad though. It was honestly ok but compared to the manga I was pretty upset.See full review
