If there is one single anime that has really made me cry and suffer from the inside out it's this one. What a tragedy. I have no idea where people can have such imagination or perhaps history in such a way to really bring disaster to life. The animation, the music is by far the most beautiful and soul tearing. I just can't express just how much this anime made me so depressed...but it's always the one's that make you cry that go with you to the grave...See full review
I've adored this anime since I was a child. No other anime has touched my heart as Rurouni Kenshin. It reaches a deep part of me that I cannot clearly explain, but this anime will always be a beloved one in my life.See full review
The pacing was trash. I had really high hopes for the anime and really was enjoying it at first until I realized just how quickly they were progressing through the story. Sometimes fight scenes felt rushed and sometimes pointless, many times ending anticlimactically. Don't get me wrong some fight scenes were beautiful to watch...but they usually finished in like what 30 seconds. There was no build-up, no tension rising as the fight progresses, no stakes. There were multiple moments throughout the series where they end an episode on one scene, then start at another point the next episode(which can be... See full review
This is a tale with spice in the bloodthirsty world of the New York gang scene. It definitely isn't pretty, and it's certainly not for the faint of heart, but at its root, Banana Fish provides a very raw and human look at a world ravaged by corruption and violence, while also retaining an overall message of hope. It is riveting, and is full of action-packed storytelling built in a disturbing world that leaves you vengeful, depressed and committed to the very end. Our lead is slowly exposed as such a multidimensional and dynamic character to the end that makes you even more uncomfortable and ready for... See full review
I liked it very much. Its a pure lighthearted feel good hillarious comedy and it certainly cheered me up and gave me alot of laughs. Only downside is that the excessive drinking gets overused abit too much as a plot device. Its funny the first few times but after that gets boring. Regardless its a fantastic and gorgeous show. I hope a season 2 gets made and I hope theres abit more focus on diving if for nothing else but those GORGEOUS underwater shots. I think it is a great show all around and I highly reccomend it. Also loved the "family" vibes you get from all the friends always looking... See full review
Story In/Spectre's plot and premise are intriguing if you're interested in the combination of the supernatural and solving mysteries. The introduction and first case Iwanaga and Kurou solve did a good job establishing their personalities and the dynamics of their relationship while fleshing out the setting. Unfortunaltely, the climax of this anime is probably the slowest and least entertaining climax in fiction. At this point in the story the audience has already been shown the solution to the "Steel Lady Nananse" case, but is forced to sit through four long episodes of the main character... See full review
So this is the first anime I've properly gotten into. Not the first I've been exposed to, I've got pleanty of weeb friends who've tried to get me into other stuff. This show feels like a beam of happiness that gets shot into your mind and fills you with joy. All of the jokes are great, the pacing of the comedy is exelent. The fact that the episodes are only two minutes long lets them keep every joke coming one after another, where some shows may drag. The characters are all funny and charming, there's an episode later in the season that gets sort of serious and really makes you care, it makes her feel... See full review
No spoilers- Coming off of part 3, Diamond is Unbreakable seemed extremely slow. However it was this change of pace that set part 4 apart from the other JoJo seasons thus far. I really enjoyed the slice of life feel of the first part of the series as it allowed for some great backstories and character development, of which I thought part 3 was lacking in. In addition the reduced main cast allowed for more frequent and meaningful interactions and allowed some really fun antics to ensue. I also enjoyed how Josuke and Okuyasu acted like stupid teen boys, it made them feel real and tangible as main... See full review
What drew me in for Girls Last tour is the distinct contrast between the two cute chibi like middle school girls with the bleak rubble filled background. The two main characters Chito and Yuuri are seemingly happy and lighthearted compared to the melancholic situation they are in. Chito and Yuuri are travelers of the desolate urban decayed dystopia they live in trying to go to the upper levels of their world hoping to find food and fuel each step of the way. This premise immediately grabbed me and I was hooked. I found myself enjoying the cute humorous character dynamic Yuuri and Chito had as well as their... See full review
The art style for this anime is definitely unique in the fact that it isn't very similar to the other anime styles that I have watched. The story revolves around this one girl who is really good at gambling and has a keen eye for pointing out cheating that happens during the gambling sessions. I really like how there is a focus on really strong female characters in this anime. Usually, I feel like animes revolve around a male character, so it is definitely good to see a chance for once. This anime is a little lewder though, and the anime itself can get a bit scary. I do like it though and after... See full review
I have to rave about this anime series. I think that the deadpan humour may not be attractive to some folks out there, but this series is literally my favourite. I love how the plot is so intricate and that it keeps referencing back to characters/ story plots that happen in previous episodes. I also love the main character a lot and his personality. I think the character dynamics are just so humorously fun to watch and that Saiki-k's ability is just so funny. I really recommend this series to people who love more of a stupid kind of humour or just really straightforward humour.See full review

I really enjoyed this anime. This anime has nostalgic felling in it's bg score and animation.Anime try to maintain dark tone but it loses grip a bit. Slow pacing but characters developed episode by episode still characters did not make their motives clear. Episode 1-9 it's on a fixed pattern but then story automatic contacts everything and met to the end. Most interesting thing in this anime is it's bg score and also title track I enjoyed it very much. The problem with this anime is number of episodes. This anime should have more number of episodes so we can connect with minor characters also some... See full review
This is honestly really bad, the animation just makes it worse. They just copied the Aikatsu series from Japan. I absolutely do NOT recommend this. Btw, I did not mean to offend anyone or the creators.See full review
Aikatsu Stars is my favorite Aikatsu out of all the others. The artwork is really beautiful, and it brings back my childhood memories, how they can customize their own coords (stage outfits) is really cool. My biggest con is that they are WAY too family-friendly, I mean I understand that they want don't want any much romance in the anime, but a little romance won't hurt (especially when Subaru started showing feelings for Yume). Overall, it's really really good I recommend it, especially if you have a little sibling that really enjoys stuff like this, or if you just want to watch some kids shows.See full review
Brain dead MC Circular, pointless or convoluted story arcs The power systems are a hot mess: Very little action No character development Most of the dialogue is spent explaining the overly complicated story Loli complex The world building tries to include way too much, awkwardly mashing together ideas. It would have been much better off by narrowing its scope of content and exploring ideas further. Rather, we spend most of the time spastically jumping from one shallowly explored story to another.See full review
DISCLAIMER DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED THE ANIME YET: Overall the anime was pretty good the animation was good and the story was alright. But one of the only things that I didn't like was the ending. Don't get me wrong the ending was sad but it seemed kinda cliche. The MC comes back from battle and after waking up we find out that he lost all of his memories. That's my two sense anyways but overall it was pretty good and made me cry a bit.See full review

Right so I'm probably gonna get craped on by fans of this series but I felt disappointed by it after watching 7 episodes. I just felt the story could've been better because there was just so many plot holes that it kept me questioning non stop with any conclusion to close that part of that particular scene. I don't want to say too much because of giving away spoilers. Anyhow we don't ever find out what happened to the original gang like there's literally no clues whatsoever on where they went. They might as well be forgotten about lol! Now don't get me wrong, the music, the voice actresses and their... See full review
This is just amazing. Binge watched the whole two seasons in a day and I loved it. Some people might say that Ren is too young and small etc. Firstly he is not being forced into anything and he is loving it. Secondly in real world there are also so many girls and BOYS who just look small for their age it doesn't mean they are not supposed to have a relationship anymore. Anyways can not wait for season three. I have already started the Manga tho since i can't wait lol. NO PAITIENCE HERE! OMG i didn't know i love Shonen ai so much i wish i was Haru lol. This was my first actual anime, I watched it years ago and at that time I didn't really know what to expect. Now that some time has passed, I can say that it wasn't that great; the story is weird, all over the place, too simple, at times annoying. The characters.... I can't say I liked anyone in particular. They were all, meh. The main was ok I guess, I've seen worse, the other main was just a tad bit too much of an asshole, he was trying too hard ya know?
So why am I giving it such a high grade? Well, it was my first anime, and considering I didn't stop at this one, I gotta be a bit softer towards... See full review

I got interested in Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth from watching HIDIVE and noticed the entry episode 4.5 "Concert" and thought it odd for such an early recap in a 12-episode season. On watching it, I learned that I had watched the Original Video Animation, a special animation project not directly connected to the storyline of the other twelve. The episode was so intense that I had to watch it twice to let all the significance sink in. Croisee is a case of culture shock meets culture change. The original series (or at least the first four episodes) introduce to us the character of... See full review
This movie surprised me. The characters felt really real, each dealing with their own regrets about decisions out of their control. Akane staying in the small town to take care of her younger sister showed incredible strength and resilience, although the decision left her with major regrets. With that however, I wish that there was more development with all the characters as a whole, maybe having the movie take place over a longer period of time could have remedied that. Not to say that the movie was lacking, but rather it could have been that much better with even more care placed into their development... See full review
No spoilers- Part 5 was incredible. The visuals were amazing, the music was beautiful, and the plot was consistently paced and well executed; the series went at a 100 right out the gate and didn’t slow down until it was done. I enjoyed the return to knowing the goal of the group from the get-go, rather than finding out later; it added a lot of anti and suspense to the fights throughout the series as well as to the final boss. I also really enjoyed the assassin gang, they reminded me of Dio’s tarot card stand users whom I adored. The part that makes this installment stand out for me most were the... See full review
call me crazy for having this unpopular opinion but I thought this show was actually kinda good. I was a bit worried because the reviews were saying it was really bad but I gave it a go at I got really surprised. Yeah, its really rushed and I am sure it would have been better with more story but each episode is 8 minutes and this is a pretty short series. Anyway, I found the friendship between the guys really cute and heartwarming and the twin brother was hilariousSee full review

I only watched this anime because I saw a tiktok on Baki and his dad was the focus of the episode and he was a total dilf so I decided to watch all the seasons etc. Kinda gruesome. Very vivid when fighting, hear all the cracks of the bones and stuff. If you were to ask me about the plot I wouldnt really know what to say except for "kid wants to be strong, strong people in the world want to fight him, he fights them, has a girlfriend, gets his girlfriend kidnapped, finds out dad kidnapped girlfriend, fights dad, goes into tournament and fights everyone" THAT IS LITERALLY ALL I CAN SAY. Heltalia is NOT a history lesson. It has historical references, so it's funnier if you know history, but it by no means teaches history. It's historilcally accurate in the sense that WW2 really happened, but it is not in any way an accurate representation of WW2. This anime is essentially the answer to the question "what would history look like if countries were cute anime boys?". I think it's hilarious that anyone thought up this concept. It definitely doesn't take its self too seriously, some episodes make almost no sense. It really feels like the writers were just having a good time... See full review

Yeah... this is complicated. Basically, a bunch of high school kids do the do in the photography club. From what I know, in the manga, the characters are of age and the creator of the manga did not consent to the anime being made (I could be off on this but I can't find much info on it so please correct me if I'm wrong). They aged the characters down for the anime, which makes it borderline cp. Gotta admit the intro is a bop though. I'm not very good with writing so I'm sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes (I also wrote this much later at night than I should be awake).See full review
obviously this has hella stereotypes and shows a lot of things that shouldn't be done irl but this is fiction so it doesn't hurt and it's a small comedy anime. i actually laughed a lot most of the times and some things are so relatable (like the spending on books 😹). if you're not a bl fan you probably won't get the jokes or won't find them funny so this isn't for youSee full review

Noragami is an story about an god and a human accompanying eachothers.
It focuses alot on character developements, and really shows how dedicated these characters are towards eachother.
It was made in 2014 but still has great animations and sounds that lives up to even now 6 years laiter.
The begining was interesting and didnt reveal alot, but the opening reveals alot of Yato as an character.
I havent seen any story focusing on gods and phantoms, and that gods are the ones that exterminates phantoms.

Majority of us know this as another sad anime. My friend recommended it to me so I watched it because of that and I was expecting and ready to cry for days. The story itself was quite lacking, very simple with little progress in storyline and mainly focusing on character development and arcs. While its not the sadest anime I watched, I did cry at one main specific part (vague for spoiler reasons). The soundtrack is beautiful, I give major props for that. The timing could be better, felt like they rushed the important parts while dragging out the events that had little impact and ruined the flow of the story... See full review
Yuru camp came out of nowhere and quickly became one of my top animes overall. This slice of life anime isn't just cute, it also has relevant information about camping, inspiring me to go on my first camping trip the summer following its release! The music and visuals are simple but impactful, with their presence lending to the show’s overall calm mood. The amount of respect the girls have for one another really made it stand out as well, with Nadeshiko respecting Rin’s want to camp alone, and not teasing or pressuring her to join their group camp (until their final Christmas camp!). All of the... See full review
No spoilers- I enjoyed this anime, but I think it suffered a lot from the pacing. I decided to watch it thinking it was a slice of life anime, and with the first 4 episodes being plot heavy and action based, I was disappointed. There was too much plot crammed into too few episodes and the tonal shifts really threw off the pacing. I found the final conflict and subsequent ending left me unsatisfied. I wish this anime was strictly one or the other- sci-fi or slice of life, or at the very least, longer in order to flesh out both aspects of the story better. Overall, it was okay; nothing special but... See full review

My girlfriend and I both watched this anime together and expected only a story about two girls falling in love and that's that. This was so much more than we expected. The characters felt almost real as we could each relate to them separately in our own ways. I do wish the ending was different, it mostly just felt like a tease to another season. For the first 8 episodes that I've seen this seems amazing! Gives me very much shounen vibes but in a way that is unique. Still has some tropes we've all seen before. The potential death of a main character by the protecting institution like Nezuko in Demon Slayer, a connection, relationship and almost budding friendship between a demon like creature and it's host like Naruto and Kurama, and again a trio of students and their teacher like Naruto again and finally a main character with unimaginable power hidden inside but it's too destructive for them to use in their current weak disposition... The fourth and final season of Familiar of Zero is simply called 'F.' This possibly means finale, though the first thought is given to that grade which haunts people as the sign of failure. I’m banking on ‘finale,’ though …. Well, by the end of episode twelve, you must admit the wild run twixt Louise and Saito has run its course. This was the possible intention that the final episode was called 'The Familiar of Zero' to draw up the whole flow of four seasons of adventure and a bevy of borderline naughtiness, and all this sassiness revved up by the... This anime is about an abusive relationship disguised as a quirky romance. Frankly it is upsetting that this is what is getting pedalled to teenage girls. It portrays cruel relationships accurately but it frames it as "romantic" And that is why you can’t sympathise with the main character. But I am telling you, this is the kind of relationship that should be avoided at all costs and not be sold to a young and impressionable audience which it is.See full review
I love how they tried to show the two faces of one coin. There were so many emotional moments that I was bawling my eyes out. The animation was very detailed. I felt like the viewer should have been left with more sympathy with the characters. But idk if its just me but i couldnt really connect with anyone but it they wanted the viewer to connect. Especially in the end. Also in the end it kinda felt rushed in some parts.
But very emotional overall. Interesting animation style too.
