Considering it's kinda old it was well-made. There were a few things I just found were dumb. How could an arrow shot by an amateur, Kagome, break the crystal into so many pieces causing the anime to be elongated unnecessarily long. Inyuasha is still stupidly hung up on his first love who looks exactly like kagome and expects too much from her. This could have been a decently good anime for kids but the groping was seriously not needed.See full review
It was nice. I watched this because I kept seeing it everywhere so I decided to try it out. I thought this was gonna be your average romance slice of life but I was wrong as soon I saw that they switched bodies. The ending had a plot twist that I never expected but they ended up finishing it off nicely.See full review
What if trash Japanese pulp fiction and C/B tier movies were mixed together and add some highly effective steroids to this mixture. You get Kizuoibito! Known in English as Wounded Man, this 5 episode anime will surely make you regret the time you took to watch it. Unless you watched it deliberately for the purpose of watching bad anime, like the members of Damn! That Anime is Bad (DTAB), a group of Weebs on the official Anime Planet discord server, did. DTAB is an event where the participants watch a very terrible anime once a week every on a Sunday afternoon/night. Know more about it ... See full review
Her hair color is blown wayyyy out of proportion. I mean, yeah its cool but this is just too cliche. Yeah its a fantasy and this obviously wouldn't happen in the first place but everything was to be expected. The antagonists and all the problems they run into is just too trivial.See full review
The plot was great, the story was interesting, the characters were good too but.. The age, height, and personality difference was a little weird. Their age difference wasn't even that big but he's only 12 and has yet to mature unlike Nike who has already matured, for the most part. I just find their personalities and feelings towards their marriage and romantic relationship especially since the 12 year old Livius is the one making the moves towards her.See full review
It was boring. Plain and simple. Not because its based on story by Shakespear but because it doesn't have much depth. Of course it won't be exactly the same as the original especially since it turns the original Juliet who had incredible mental strength into someone who is also physically strong and uses her abilities to help others. This later turns into a problem because, oh no, they don't like that she's helping the poor, so they decide to harm her in any way they can. Yes, there was the same forbidden love, but it didn't have much kick, it just wasn't interesting.See full review
Listen up folks! if you're into laughing your asses off then this is the show for you! SPOILER ALERT the show is about the demon leader Satan who was defeated by a bunch of leaders then got cast away into another dimension, aka planet earth. there he and his servant must venture the hardships of blending into the human life and live among humans, which include creating IDs, paying rent, and finding jobs. after a year of living amongst humans and learning their ways, one of the heroes who tried to slay him appear in this world, and learn the shocking truth that the devil actually... likes it here? this... Honestly the beginning was interesting especially since most protagonists slowly get better and the audience watches this progress with him. But he was already powerful from the start and had amazing connections with powerful people so it didn't feel like it had much plot. Then the female lead's personality is incredibly boring and cliche. The main villain didn't have much depth and wasn't extremely powerful for them to work super hard to be able to fight him.See full review

The first episodes were very interesting especially since it took place on Earth and was later transported to elsewhere where he slowly but surely grew his "kingdom" and united different species. What i didn't like was how he found someone fro Earth but she died and used her body as his own. After that it just got boring.See full review
The first episodes were interesting and could've been a very good anime. Everyone was anticipating just how this hated main character was going to gain everyones favor but it didn't turn out very well. It kinda turned into a harem at some point. IT was also disturbing how Raptalia grew and matured very fast and gained romantic feelings for him when she thought of him as a father and he cared for her as a daughter.See full review
The male lead is kind, the supporting characters have interesting personalities, and the female lead is aware of what is going on so she isn't extremely naive.See full review
This show is so wonderfully written, I would reccommend it to pretty much anyone. It has the characteristics of shounen, sports, drama and other genres of anime and allows you to really get into the story and root for the characters. It gets into some deep themes, so if you are very sensitive you probably should not watch it or take breaks from the show every once in a while. It seems like I'm just giving the show such a high rating because I like it, but I think anyone who watches the show could really love it no matter if you are new to anime or have a specific genre you love to watch.See full review
story the storyline is clear to follow, and flows well. there are many foreshadowed events and hints on what will happen next. some parts of the storyline makes you want to go "no", but overall it's great. even if you aren't emotionally sensitive, this show will definitely hit you hard. animation the animation was probably ahead of its time, and although it isn't as flashy as ufotable or bones, madhouse did a great job on the graphics. some parts are a bit unnecessary, such as some filtering and hiding. the hiding of deaths is also inconsistent, but overall is great. sound the music is often... I watched the anime first, and honestly I thought the movie was going to be a continuation.
I am so dissappointed with the character changes, the difference in story.. I didnt think I'd get so attached to a set of characters that when I watched the movie adaptation it actually upset me. I miss the clairvoyant Hitomi, not the depressed girl thats running away.
But the art style is so cool! I love how Merle was drawn in this version of her - makes me want to actually draw fanart for once! But other than that.. watch the anime first, and you can easily leave this movie in the dust.
I get really bored by crime series but this one is an exception. The story revolves around social injustice, poverty, discrimination and wraps up in a very conspirative manner. Just replace the beastmen with aliens and it becomes pretty realistic. The best about it is that it has a nice pace and keeps the mystery almost till the end. But the end feels rather sped up and there are a bunch of deus ex machina moments in the last episode. The bright, beatiful really, art and some goofy characters manage to keep the show light, regardless of the heavier theme.See full review
If you like yourself a song that has a story and a generic brown-haired anime girl that you can self insert yourself into, this is the one for you! The music is very catchy, and honestly really nice. <3 I will be making sure to watch Domestic Girlfriend very soon. This is an MV for those ameatuer animators in our community to be able to copy the running/walking cycle to due to it being drawn nicely.See full review
This anime was such a good binge-anime, I'd consider watching it a couple times with others to see their experience.
When it came to understanding the themes that were happening, it had me hooked as an older anime-consumer.
It's not often that for someone who has experienced some form of trauma to find an anime that was sort of theraputic to watch. The animation was very pleasant on the eyes and the overall show had me hooked. <3
Please give it a watch if you are into mature anime.
For Anime, I have not found another one that playing with audio's as well as this one.
I'd say this is an anime you HAVE to wear headphones with because of the odd audio-frequencies featured in it!!
I have yet to see other anime that feature a very quiet girl such as Lain and honestly, I don't mind it.
The starting of the first episode grabbed me due to the weird set-up of a character falling off a building.
I have to say, most people that watch only the late 2000's animes will probably not like this purely due to the style and how confusing it is - even compared to Higurashi and all its... See full review
I heard a lot of good review about this movie. After a long moment, i finally watch it. I dont have the same opinion compared to the others. The movie is good, I will not deny it, but for me it's not perfect. Firstly, the story, i like it, the effect of two chars able to switch their body, i enjoy it. Unfortunately, i prefered that in the first part, I hoped for it to be longer, even if i had some difficulties to know if they were really them or not. For the second part, wasn't really what i liked because this is not what i wanted to see in this movie, i'm not a big fan of Journey and science fiction... See full review
This is a plotless dirty joke meme machine. A comedy, through and through. That's not to say it's bad, nor is it to say that it's even an Ecchi. The jokes are constant and almost always verbal. For the most part, they won't make you laugh; you'll exhale through your nose and smile pretty consistently throughout the whole thing. This is decidedly not a romance, as every time you think some sort of development may happen the show drops a joke and moves on. Personally I enjoyed Seitokai thoroughly, and there's a lot to watch if you get into it. As long as you're prepared for the emotionless memefest and not... See full review

v( ‘.’ )v I was very resistant to watch Natsume's Yūjin-chō since many animes that I've seen that attempt to mix yōkai with an orphaned high schooler tend to focus more on building high schooler romance/the protagonists past (which when done right is heartwarming) but I thought.... oof, 5 seasons AND a movie...? I don't know... As much of a romatic that I am, high school girls can be a bit, much.. (╥﹏╥) I am SO GLAD I took the leap!! Every episode has me in tears because of how wholesome this series is! ... Excuse my language, but fuck this. It's not even anime, it is not intended for entertainment. Nothing is explained, nothing makes sense. Everything is terrible. I went into this knowing it was the worst reviewed anime on the website, and it somehow exceeded my expectations in the worst way possible Story: Giant ass floating alien squid that practically has no animation appeared in Japan. Who better to stop it than a bunch of chicks in awfully rendered 3D flying mechs? Spoiler alert: anybody. Yosuga no Sora Review The following is a review for the anime, Yosugo no Sora, a 12-episode anime adaptation released in 2010 of the visual novel of the same name by a game developer named Sphere. The director’s name is Takeo Takahashi, who is the man behind titles such as So, I can’t Play H!, Spice and Wolf, Maoyu Mao Yusha, Citrus, and Rokka: Brave of Six Flowers. He’s been a pretty good/solid director. Likewise, the script was penned by a guy named Naruhisa Arakawa, who seems to likewise enjoy working with Takeo as a duo with such titles as So, I Can’t Play H! and Spice and Wolf... See full review
If you're squeamish about mental illness or have issues with people suffering from mental health problems, then you shouldn't watch this anime. If mental illness doesn't put you off, then there's a very good chance you'll like Orange. It isn't the tightest anime - there are many plot holes and many times you want to reach through the screen and throttle the female main character for acting so damn stupid. But if you can set the occasional lack of intelligence or common sense aside, the emotions will sustain your enjoyment. It's definitely a tear-jerker.See full review
Hi all, I'm a real big fan of si fi anime, but I don't really understand why they have to make the MC's in most anime such whimps and chicken shits when comes to the opposite sex. I guess maybe it's my age is why I don't understand it, I am a 70yr old man. I really wish they had made a 3rd season. Great seriesSee full review
Let me preface this review by saying that I'm a huge fan of One Piece. I'm up to date with the manga, watched over 800 episodes of the anime, and watch basically every movie or OVA of the franchise. But while I very much loved the last 3 movies (especially Strong World and Film Z), Stampede was honestly a tad disappointing. Story/characters I mean, it is very much a "fanservice" movie (not in the erotic sense, mind you) and while that would normally be perfect for me, the execution just didn't do it for me. There are dozens of old characters who return to the screen, such as the entire Worst... See full review

Pretty good continuation to the first season. This series was worth watching. The intro and outro songs were lovely. D.C and D.C Second Season aren't good enough to be called "masterpieces" but they definately are forgotten gems.See full review
Very simplistic, but for a lead female teacher, it was quite amusing and different to watch. In my opinion, sometimes, i feel to watch anime just for fun instead of the ones that are more complexe and deep 😄See full review

ill name you three things right now. Childhood amnesia from at least 1 charcater, missing evil family member, a "hidden" past relationship between the first female the main male meets. Sound familiar? If they do its because those three things are the plot to evey shitty sci-fi ecchi harem anime. And guess what? This anime has all of them. Story: generic, underdeveloped, and it had multiple holes, kind of like a loli. The main villains motives are never really explained, which is of course not good. However, there was a lack of filler. Of course, i would've rather watched filler than another... See full review
This movie is called FF VII so naturally this movie does assume you know the story of the game before you watch it, so if you have no prior knowledge of the Final fantasy VII setting, do not even think about watching this movie, because you will be entirely lost. So to prefice this review, this is written by somebody that only recently finished the game. I don't have any nostalgia for Final Fantasy VII, as i never had a playstation back in the day. Now that this is out of the way, lets start with the review. First things first. Lets begin with the elements this movie does right, imo and work our way back... See full review
Like somebody else said, this isn't like part 1 so some of the things in it are going to throw you off. I was very intrigued by the concept of a girl who tries to become a best selling author in a world where books are a rarity so to see that get taken away was very disappointing. They replaced that with a plot about how she begins working at a church while dealing with traumatized orphans and an abusive leader. This makes for a mean-spirited tone and a bunch more depressing themes. The first one was dark in the sense that it was about a girl fighting a deadly disease but this one makes part 1 seem like a... If this is the new world, well then I’m completely happy with the one we’ve got. Spoilers Ahead! Note: This review ran long, very very long, so parts of it may be located under the review in the Comments section. Story - 7/10 There’s something odd about this series, at times it seemed as if the creators had no idea where they were going. Remarkable. Exceptional. Realistic. Overall, beautiful. Finally, a story about the actual relationship and just not getting to the relationship. I enjoyed every second of it all. In order to draw in viewers, you have to have a good introduction/pilot episode, right? Well, the intro got me watching more and more until the end. "Say 'I love you'" has gotten me chills and bundles of emotion. While watching, you are able to cry your heart out while laughing at the significant momemts. This anime has a lot to offer, and if you love romance, this is a must watch.See full review
I will start to announce what i didn't like in this anime. I was expecting something else by looking the cover of the anime. Hopefully they managed to make something better. For the songs, it's simple, i'm not a fan of them, whatever if it's the openign or the ending. For my personal comprehension, the thing that lost me are the scientifical explanations, i didn't understand them Now, for the postives parts, The main Character is not a simple dumb guy like in any other anime. No, this one is funny, intelligent and a pervert, but he is at least direct when he talks (like Kazuma from KonoSuba) I also loves... See full review
This anime would have to be one of my favorites. This show was packed with action and personally I was never bored. The characters and their development were also very well done. You will find yourself emotionally attached to most of these characters, at least I did. I personally would consider this show BL. Even if its not sexual, you can definitely tell that they have a deep connection. I personally loved the animation. But, if your looking for a super happy ending do not watch. Sorry but I feel like a warning is necessary. This show personally broke my heart and left me crying and not... See full review

I'm not a big fan of the ending song but the opening one is clean For the sotry, i think it's really interesting to see how two characters with the same personality (moreover with a cliché personality) can get along. Simply put, this show exceeded my expectations. From the first look I thought it would be like any other shounen, with Thorfinn turning into a great warrior and saving the day by the end of the show, but the real MVP was someone so unexpected it turned out even better. The graphics, the scenery, the design, the arcs.. every thing was worked on so hard and it really shows throughout the show. and let me just say, (SPOILER AHEAD) that last scene with Thorfinn's dagger falling, his life flashing before our eyes, moments after his enemy's death, right when he realised he has no idea what he's going to do... I dropped it like many people had because it was too cringy and cliched. I mean there isn't really a plot, it's just all about the members of Special A and the main two character's relationship for each other. Everything was way too straight forward and kind of boring. If I had watched this anime from the time it first came out, I probably would have liked it better, but since there are now many other animes with better romance and art style and story plots, I just can't seem to find it worthwhile to watch. I do like the relationship the main two characters have, their relationship wasn't the... See full review
Honestly. I like the plot and all, but the way that it is executed by the characters is just frustrating, like, does literally none of you stupid fucks have ANY common fucking sense?? This may contain some spoilers This anime was great. I loved how Reigen basically goes from being a con artist to being an actual mentor. His advice is actually good and even though he uses Mob, he actually helps him a lot too. I feel like Mob could actually find out that he's lying but not mind it and play along because it isn't doing him any harm. Although, since he's so naive he probably won't figure it out on his own. In the end, Reigen awakens his own psychic abilities although he can only use them to see Dimple. I also liked how Mob keeps trying to improve himself without relying on his... See full review
Honestly, I started watching this because everyone said it was so good and sooo sad and that it made them cry. Almost every anime lover has heard of this anime- it was just that popular- so I thought that maybe I'll like it too. The first time I watched it, I thought the nose and the lips were kind of weird and didn't really fit the animation, but I thought I would probably get used to it in a few more episodes. Eventually, I dropped it at episode 5 because, in my opinion, it was too repetitive which makes it boring. I know that the main character has an abusive mother and how he can't play the piano...
