I am surprised with the direction this anime went and how much I enjoyed it
I started watching it because I was just having a bit of an anime-fest and I stumbled across it. I thought "it will probably be ecchi galore and nothing but" but I was wrong. While there is obviously elements of ecchi in it, it's no more than the average anime.
I would like to see a bit more of the world outside of the main area because it feels a little compacted and I would appreciate lore of the world being more available than what it is
But yes, this anime is surprisingly really good for its... See full review
While a bit heavy on certain ecchi areas and very complicit with "OP MC in a strange world" genre, I very much enjoyed this anime.
The story line was a little lacking in depth which could be improved upon but it was far from awful.
It has very good action scenes in this though so if you want something that is a bit more than simply wondering around, this anime wil serve you well.
I will definately be watching more of this in the future, providing there is more of this.
So, Goblin slayer is a fantastic anime. The only reason why I am not giving it the full 10/10 and an 8/10 for story is I felt like there could have been more depth to it HOWEVER what it lacks in depth it makes up in violence, action and comedy.
Goblin Slayer as a character is very well done. He slowly progresses into becoming more of a person over the anime which is a good touch ebcause we all want to see progression and its like "ahh, so he isnt just a single minded killing machine after all" but for the large part he is. It's like the huntress alien in Rick and Morty "We shall... See full review
Way to loli for me. After watching some of the episodes I kept glancing out of the window to see if the police were monitoring me because it was too far into the loli scene.
The story itself was ok but didn't really amount to anything of substance. It just seemed to end up being a guy essentailly grooming young girls.
I would not recommend it
AoT is a very clever anime. while at times it can be a bit slow on the action front the mystery and plot twists behind it certainly give it a strong stroyline so for all of those who have somehow not watched it, if its mystery and "back ground" that you like, this is the show for you
That being said, the action that is in AoT is probably some of the best animation I've ever seen and it stands out beyond most. Luckily anime is probably the only form of media that can accurately depict the use of 3DMG and boy does it depict it well. The fight scenes are visually stunning and... See full review
For the large part, I enjoyed this anime. It could have done with a little more action for my taste but it has an interesting twist which makes it obvious when someone rates it low due to lack of understanding the MCs personality
there is a lot of comedy aspect to this one though the comedy seemed to come at a bit of a price in regards to depth but that being said, it was still enjoyable to watch
it is indeed a typical massively over powered MC in a strange world anime HOWEVER unlike most, it doesnt conform to most of the usual tropes associated with that genre in the fact that the MC is... See full review
Weathering with you was an enjoyable movie to watch. With the same creators of "Your Name" you can spot a few easter eggs if you pay close attention to the movie. As things get at a highspeed halfway through the movie, it really pulls you in. I wouldn't watch it again, but i would 100% reccomend it to anyone who was looking for an amazing anime movie to watch by themselves or with others. The characters were well designed. Each with their own unique personality and their own little back story. Its a fun watch! and the little guy in the movie? defintely my favourite character. 😂See full review
It took me two viewings to watch My Neighbors, the Yamadas, the first time flagging after 45 minutes of keeping track of the various loosely-connected vignettes gathered under various disconnected themes. It reminded me so much of The Family Circus, although the Keane family appears a most functional bond of parents and children. The Yamadas, well they’re something else. I’m not saying that this family is dysfunctional. The humor in this Studio Ghibli gem is hardy Simpsons-esque. The love which holds these five quaint individuals is not easily seen, but it is definite... See full review
For an anime with the first word in the title being toilet, I was expecting a sort of comedic classic shounen action with some clutsy dumb bitch and stereyotypical characters that I can waste my time with. However, I was quick to find that this series is anything but that. This series story (thus far) is utterly beautiful, giving you heart wrentching twists and turns, great laughs, decent character growth, and many potentially shippable puppy-love moments (especially if you are into that stuff like I am). The animation is goregous, the thickness of the lines and panel like scenes making the overall... See full review
If there was anything you can take away from both this season and the anime as a whole; it's wasted potential. While there was an attempt at a plot made this season, which admitable is a step up from the prior season - everything else, bar the graphics and animations that still remained pretty good, dwindled in quality. Since they spent last season introducing all the main cast of characters, there was a lot of potential for them to expand upon this creative and potentially expansive world of theirs and make a really good show. But unfortunately it was pretty much all wasted on fanservice... See full review
See full review
After viewing this anime, I could see that the ending was a bit rushed. From episodes 1-12, I was really satisfied with what has happening since it was definately an uncoventional plot that was unfolding. The sudden losses of so many loveable characters, just fueled me to watch further on the series. The plot development between Rentaro and Enju makes my heart warm at the end, especially after seeing their closest friend sacrifice himself. Overall, I would tell someone to give this anime a try because it sure isn't what it seems.See full review
This anime is a true representation of what the mind can really do for others. I believe the first time I watched this anime was around the ages 12-13. Looking back at it now, I can clearly understand why it was so popular with me. The plot was so beautifully driven, animation was smoot and flawless, and let's not forget the music! With all of these elements brought together, Miyazaki sure went all out in this one.See full review
I am very glad i stumbled across this anime. I have been powering through the "alternative world/fantasy" genre types and this has got to be one of my prefered to watch. While there is nothing particuarly spectacular about the animation/sound/characters, the way the story is told is extremely well done. There are some parts where I am surprised I was not shouting at my TV beacause of my anger against the abuse the MC was getting. It's also great because it has a lot of episodes so once you get into it, it doesnt just stop like a few other animes i have been watching revently.See full review
So, basically the best way i can describe this anime is that it tries to be clever towards the end and ends up creating a big ball of crap that is difficult to follow. Plus it is very heavy on the ecchi side and tries to cram it in in weird parts of the story. That being said, its not awful. I just wouldnt get too excited over it.See full review
See full review
I'm not a fan about slice of life, but this one was refreshing and wholesome. I would have enjoyed a tiny bit of romance from the MC, the dude deserved it he is a saint. I'm still wondering why I enjoyed it that much, but I did.
The girl beeing the MC's aunt made me laught a lot, i found this a funny idea. Else, there isnt a real "story", but that's maybe why this is a well done Slice of life. Usualy, i feel like Slice of life show tends to force a subplot to keep the watcher's attention aways from lack of meaning of the show. Bunny drop didnt do this and I'm proud of them.
I was wondering... See full review

FUCK THE ANIME!! READ THE MANGA!! jeez where do i start, i was exited when i saw one of my favourite mangas will be turning into an anime, but when i saw the preview i was displease to say the least. the sound effects sound choppy, and fake. the animation seems fan made at times and i feel like they cannot portray the characters in this show like how they really are in the manga. i feel embarrassed to say i know this show. i used to feel proud saying how much i loved the manga but now.. it all feels like my hero academia, a shitty show made for kids. lets not let that happen please.See full review
if you like re:zero and want to sustain yourself With more lore then this prequel movie will definitely fill that role. Also for a prequel movie it does a good job setting up and building up two of the more important characters for the story.
If you want to suggest this to someone in a certain order I would say that you should watch this movie and the other 2018 movie mid way through the second arc of the first season Since there really isn't a defined time for these movies, and do to Subaru's death refreshing the world he's i we don't know if this is a permanent stay in the story... Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is one of my favorite movies. I can always throw it into my Blu-ray player after a crappy day and come away satisfied after each viewing. Hayao Miyazaki has lovingly crafted an uplifting, poignant, and emotionally satisfying film, a film that examines the human condition at both its best and its worst, both the compassion and selflessness we're capable of and the anger and arrogance that cause some of us to commit the worst acts against our fellow man. On top of this, it's all so very relevant some 35 years (whoa!) after the film first arrived in Japanese... See full review

Watch until the recap starts, then skip to 01:19:20 and watch until the end for the new footage. Unless of course you need the recap, but if you recently watched Season 1 you won't be missing anything.
It says it's from Rikka's perspective, so I was hoping we'd get some new footage in the middle dedicated to that, but there's nothing.
Very shory stopmotion animation of a big white monster who owns a cake/pastery shop. The plot isnt anything special, but I think this would be more of thing shown between kids shows as commercial times. Together with a small white monster and three animated macarons, the white monster makes a cake. The four mini episodes shows how the big white monster creates his big frosting covered strawberry cake. I love stopmotion animation and this was quite cute. Very short, but clearly meant for a very young audience.See full review
I can tell the anime plot would have been good, but the story was all over the place. It was like you were watching season 4 of a show but missed seasons 1-3, and seasons 1-3 are explaining everything. I barely knew what was happening 4/5ths of the time. The characters are like every stereotypical character, which i dont personally mind. But overall, it was confusing but "okay."See full review
Without words, I hate this series as much as I love it. All the different scenarios are not simply out of thin air, there is clear creativity and ingenuity in them. The implementation of this is also noteworthy. The Train Case and the Finale Case in particular made a much more positive impression. The rest were solid too. However, apart from the different scenarios, this work also has enormous weaknesses. The characters are mostly deterrent, unappealing and seem completely lifeless. You can hardly see them in that sense, even away from the courtroom. And if you see them, then only in terribly meaningless... See full review
Must admit, among the 3 seasons of Free, this is clearly the most powerful. A few shortcomings of the predecessors are removed.
The plot took a rather surprising turn. As you could see from the second season, the team broke up because Haru and Makoto graduated from school. Everyone went their own way and several different stories were formed.
Among other things, many new characters were introduced and solidly incorporated into the series. Can't say much about it. It also got better on the conversation side. There was a lot more character-related humor. There was no longer talk about the same... See full review
During my first time watching this I was so frustrated and I regretted how I spent time watching this. But year or so later I found it again in my recommendations and decided to rewatch it, and to my surprise the characters actually have development. First things first, they were in highschool of course they will be on the romantically naive side. But as the story progresses you will see Kyoya tries to bend his pride full self in order to make his girlfriend happy and Erika despite being a girl who originally pushed herself to Kyoya for the sake of remaining friends with her classmates learned that... You definitely have to watch this for the alpaca. I just find him creepy but interesting. Aside from paca there are quite some episodes that are funny/interesting/intriguing. Episodic so you won't find an intriguing plot. Honestly at first I almost dropped this but then ep 2 came and I just can't stop watching. The boys here are hilarious with the combo of the only sane person the newest member PINK. Their personalities are mouthful to explain so just go watch their stupidity for yourself. I just found myself shouting one of their stupid lines after watching this XD In this anime you're basically gonna watch yourself during your ever so dark weaboo past.See full review
Who knew this anime would tug at my heartstrings so much. I technically started this entire series a while ago and then dropped it for awhile cause I got tired of it, I recentyl came back and rewatched and it was 100% worth it. As with the predecessor, we mostly have the same problems here.
Must note, however, that things improved slightly here. The strength of this work is still on animation, representation and implementation of the topic. Unfortunately, that's all. The characters are still mostly flat, although at least one tries to build conflicts, strengths and weaknesses of the respective characters. The drama genre is still very much in focus. If it were at least good, one could disregard this. Unfortunately, it is a showcase play by some adolescent teenagers who have problems with each other for completely senseless... See full review

I loved the characters and the story in general except for 2 gripes. The actual story doesn't really get going until episode 7, before that it's just filler. I recently realized that the reason I hadn’t been getting into anime was that it was taking too long for the plot or any significant action to start. I put off anime for a few months, but by stumbling upon a dance cover of the opening for Beastars, I was immediately entranced by the jazzy goodness of the song and the really unique stop-motion animation. Needless to say, that was the hook that got me to binge the first season of Beastars in one day. I did have some misgivings about the series though - the fact that the term “furry” was being thrown around with Beastars, as it obviously is... See full review

It is a good thing the corporate body of the BanG Dream Project has a funny bone. Honestly, there are times BanG Dream! is more along the lines of BanG Drama. Season One: Poppin’ Party works to be recognized as a legitimate girls band. Season Two: Poppin’ Party works to organize a self-sponsored concert, a feat they had no clue how to conduct. Season Three: Poppin’ Party battles not to be mashed into dango balls by a girls band bent on eliminating any girls band standing in their way in musical competition.
