As a person who read the mange first page through last, I'm pretty happy with this adaptation. Although this whole show would have been a lot like I mean A LOT better with a second season, from what it shows so far it gave me the same feels as the manga. Like me cringing that he rejected the other girl just for the sake of revenge. If I were to give a short paragraph about how this would have progressed and how it would be better it would go like this: Kinda Big Manga Spoilers: Okay so fake Masamune gets caught. Turns out that Adagaki had a huge crush on Masamune before, remember when they... See full review
Disappointing, It is a rather unique concept given a half hearted attempt. The animation is pretty decent but the music though not bad was trying to hard and overwhelmed some of the scenes. The main problem was character development. Akria definately has a father issue, and it is never explain why she likes a 45 year old nice guy. She has nothing in common with him and all he did was give her a free coffee and a magic trick. Harkua her best friend is clearly hurt she abandoned her after being hurt in track and they never explain why Akria abandons her and they never even give a... See full review
Yea this anime is the epitome of dissapointing. It never truly garnered my interest and never engaged me. It's an influence on the genre for all the wrong reasons and one of the reasons why mecha is the genre I avoid. Synopsis: some kid comes back to chill with his estranged father only to be forced out into piloting a large robot like thing called an EVA, which he uses along with two other chicks to fight these large things called angels. Story: At some points this anime feels like a monster of the week anime more then a serious mecha anime about depression and abandonment. This anime takes way too long... See full review
Overall a good sweet anime, excites the viewers, has a nice simple highschool friendship storyline, interesting characters. Really want to watch the 2nd season desperately. Really want the story to continue. Really reccomend this anime to everyone.See full review
××Spoiler Free×× Nah, this anime was good and gave me such a laugh. I had a great time watching this. It doesn't cease to make you laugh. Every corner, there's a surprise that comes. Geez, this anime makes me want to try MMOs! The story was a bit predictable, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. I especially loved Morimori-chan who gives light to the show. And that little beauty mole of hers.. She's killing it! XD This is an anime for if you want to get rid of all your stress. Or for after you watch a sad movie! It's perfect for that. Plus, if you play MMO's you can totally... See full review
Welcome to the show that somehow has 2 remakes or at least I looks that way. You'd think it would be awesome or at least a complete story, right? Sadly the multiple remakes haven't given it a another season of the currrent iteration so this is all we've got. Honestly this should just be a "I'm bored and want something different" If you dont want to read the review then I would say if you think your brain is melting from boredom after 3/4 episodes then drop it otherwise sit back and enjoy the show.
so first the animation it looks good and your eyes won't be bored but it's kinda... See full review
...Just leave while you can, alright? The first half of this anime really interested me and at least had some flow to it. An underage karate kid gets a tattoo from a hobo on the streets and is forced to join some crazy war - seems exciting! ...If only they hadn't totally slaughtered all that potential in the second half. Enjoy slogging through a backstory that's utterly pointless, and suddenly being introduced to a dozen new chatacters with zero significance. (Being an otaku and having a gf don't make the cut, sorry bro.) It's confusing as heck, and with the ever "riveting" storyline... See full review
Everything about this anime is the definition of amazing!!!! Mafuyu is so precious and his just a bean in general, if you say u hate them then u are blind because even thought he went through a lot its amazing how he stay smiling and sparkling, ever since I watched Given I always recommend to my weeb friends. But the 9th episode is so sad it had me full on ugly crying and I still cry watchung the 9th episode because his expressing his feeling through his music and its like u can feel what he feels through the screen. 10/10 would recommend.See full review
Nichijou is "random" in one word..
At first the comedy seems to be forced as the art style.
But the more you watch the more you get used to it's randomness.
It is nice to watch and unwind when stressed.
But sometimes, their jokes just don't get through. Story (4/10)
This show travels along the lifes of girls who try to live an orrdinary-not-ordinary life.
Plot is plain as the show basically. Animation. (10/10)
The animation is spot on.. Sound (6/10)
You've probably heard one of nichijou soundtracks before Characters (6/10)
The characters are okay I guess I... See full review
Reserving a more full review of the series for Season 2, but I wanted to drop in my thoughts on Season 1 now that I've finished it. My thoughts are basically summed up as "It's an incredible viewing experience soured by its angering ending" Story: Pretty decent, but basic, story about political intrigue and warfare. There's a lot of blue-balling going on in terms of the story setting up a goal and the cast failing to achieve that goal, which makes sense in the context of the lore and warfare, but still plays with your heartstrings in a way that makes you feel less than optimistic about the... Nothing can happen till you swing the bat. FLCL is something else entirely. It is a show filled with pure and raw entertainment, from mind-numbing action-packed fights to suggestive and sleazy comedy. It is absurd, it is crazy, and it is for sure something that will leave you scratching your head, especially when you dive head-first into its first episode. It does not seem like the type of show that you could imagine enjoying at first glance if you are not the type to be drawn to the quirky and crazy. But there is something deeper that lies below. At its core, FLCL is a coming-of-age story... See full review
Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story isn't a good anime, in my opinion. It's even worse as a "Madoka Magica"-anime.
The main problem is the abnormal amount of characters, some without importance. And when this is used badly, well, the audience tends not to care about them. And that was my case.
The other problem in this anime is the amount of events. Some of them are not that important nor entirely explain. I just... don't get it. Some problems just disappear in the same episode. Now, the characters. The protagonist is quit interesting, but some aspects are... See full review
The beginning was interesting. But it wasn't till around episode 20, I had decided to drop it. It had just become too boring and I wasn't motivated to carry on watching it. However I do love the intro!!See full review
I'M SO SAD THIS ANIME IS OVER! I WANT MORE! This was the first anime I had ever watched, so this had pushed me into the journey of aime thereflore it had become very emotional to me. Now that the final season is over, I can not even begin to exprss how much this is worth watching. If this anime managed to bring me into the world of anime, then this anime can bring you into the world of many other things! Everything from the arcs, to the characters, humour and empotional moments. The most important thing that Fairytail has taught me is that family isn't blood and for that message, will I... I love this show and I will be watching the second season 😍 just cause some people give it bad reviews doesn't mean it's a bad anime. The last episode tho pulled at my heartstrings majorly. Please give this anime a try....I rate it 10billion stars👍🤩See full review
This is probably my most favorite harem anime like it's not like other harem anime where from the start the Mc already have a harem and every character has some back story why they fall in love with the Mc but in this we saw the Mc only has 1 love interest and as the show goes on the other girls saw how kind the Mc is his real self and start to fall in love with him... This is about the Mc making a harem... The story might cliché in the most time but I love it and the show breaking the 4th wall that last episode really makes me kinda sad and happy like I can't stop laughing in the end lolSee full review
I think this is going to become more interesting on the next seasons. Overall the story was ok. And the male lead has 0 iq and zero chemistry with the female lead. I hope it gets betterSee full review

This was rather bland, especially compared to the manga. While I understand that it was only meant to be a small taster of what the manga had to offer, had I seen this before I read the manga, I probably wouldn't have been interested. I wish that this could have been a proper, full adaptation. It was fun being able to recognise some of the lines though.See full review
"Clannad", either if you have watched it or not, I'm pretty sure that if you are a part of the anime community, then atleast you've heard of this anime. Now this review of mine will only be covering the second season of Clannad, AKA "Clannad Afterstory". So I recently rewatched the second season of clannad(Clannad Afterstory), and yes I confirmed it that it's still a masterpiece after so many years. While I don't remember much of season1, but I'm definitely sure that s2 left a big mark of memory for everyone. I won't be touching any spoilers in this review, so if you haven't watched the... Be warned that this anime is relentlessly dark af, and there's no humor whatsoever to give you a break. The reason I took off 2 points is because they went down this bizarre rabbit hole trying to work god into the story. First, it was a poor fit and second, they did a rotten job of it. Really, it just didn't make sense.See full review
(Light spoilers) Was interesting how cocky the humans were, not one time but THREE times. They go to Mars and each time get completely eviscerated because they underestimate the cockroaches. I'm like dude, cockroaches on earth are impossible to kill and they only an inch long; why you think 6 feet tall cockroaches are going to be easier to defeat??! Plus you don't want to kill them but CAPTURE them, y'all all super gonna die. I liked the human characters but if they *that* dumb, they kinda deserve the butt whooping. They give 100 humans surgery where a serum can activate animal genome. However when they... See full review
"Anime that over-sexualizes women" - controversial enough for people to start giving this anime terrible marks. But don't let the low ratings fool you. This story is really interesting to watch, see how the characters learn about emotions and their past. The arcs are great, and while it might take a few episodes to get into, you really won't regret it. This anime isn't so much about fighting and mechs but more of a romance, which I didn't expecct but liked. The futuristic setting is great, but unexpectedly depressing after you find out what life is like in the future. Animation isn't his... See full review
*There's probably spoilers here* Alright I'm not one to write reviews, but this was my first anime show ever. I used to think anime was just a bunch of colorful lolis, semi-intelligent MCs, and fanservice. But holy crap did this anime change that view for me. I encountered this during a google search for mystery TV SHOWS and somehow ended up with this. Ratings were high, it was dubbed (yes I used to prefer dub, but now idc), and only 12 episodes, so I gave it a go. Right off the bat I was thrown into some matrix type intro with a seemingly depressed narrator. And whaddya know, I met the... See full review

After two seasons of good content from Aggretsuko, I wasn't sure how it could get better but it did. The plot is a little hard to predict, and that's a good thing. Retsuko goes through yet another series of crazy events, this time, with the possibility of her singing getting the spotlight. The season is less about Retsuko's office life compared to season 1, still less about Retsuko's love life compared to season 2, and instead we see more of Retsuko trying to be self-independent, self-assured, self-confident, and it's all so relatable. I think what made me most impressed about it is that it breaks down... See full review
If you like band animes, you might like this one. It's probably best not to watch this show if you came from the game. The show is a dragged out version of the game story. The game's story takes around 2 hours to read (if you wait for the voices), while the anime takes about 4 hours to watch. If the animation was more interesting then it would have been worth watching. However, the animation is not much of a step up from the animated stills in the game. Poppin' Party is the most boring band in Bandori, so if you didn't enjoy the anime, don't disregard the game. It's pretty fun. (and you... See full review

I love the story, the environment, love LOVE the caracthers. Pretty much every carachter that gets introduced are memorable. And the SOUNDTRACK, holy so many good songs! Both the op and ed are so so so good! The animation is also pretty good, theres one fight towards the end that is really well animated! I have so much more to say ab this, but I'll let you see for yourself! ((: Btw sorry for my bad english, heheSee full review
*Minor Spoilers/Moderate Spoiler* The story isn't too bad, I found the first episode to be very interesting. Normally in an anime like this, something happens to the MC (for example: Get's shot, stabbed, etc) and is brought to another world. But I like how certain technology was brought along with the Main Characters. My only problem that theres an episode or two that seem like Filler, which I don't quite like. For a show with 12 episodes, I feel Filler should be something that helps build the world or could be used to develop characters. One thing I dislike about the show is how magic isn't exactly... When I first watched this I didnt know that it was based on a visual novel, so now it makes sense as to why the romance aspect was portrayed like that. Nothing much happens throughout the story, the animation is also okay but my favorite part is the sound. For some reason my brain remembers this song even though I have not heard of it for years and when I watched this anime again I went, oh so this is where I heard that song. Idk it feels nostalgic to me for some reason, well it does sound good after all. The characters arent really that memorable but you will like them at least, I even remember cheering... For an anime that starts off as seeming ecchi/comedy, I am surprised with the amount of drama and character build up this season has. There seems to have been a new motive for the main characters (ahem...love) and the inclusion of new characters as well. There are some unexpected plot twists that not even I could see coming. However, the ending really brings back that light-hearted mood, which is fine.See full review

Don't watch it just don't, not worth it. It looked promising but left traumatised and unsatisfied. The main characters were annoying. The only character I liked was Nanachi and her backstory. There is too much exposition. It's irritating that Riko knows everything and on top of that sexualization of children. Too much scenes where Riko was naked and the sex jokes... Just stop they are 12 or smh ffs. Also too mutch talking. There were scenes where I just wanted to look at the scenery and could't because I had to follow text all the time. Somewhat liked the art style and the animation was okay I guess. That's... See full review
I think there is a deep message behind this short animation.. I'm probably looking too much into it, but I believe it has something to with aging and how fast life can pass by without realizing it. I liked it since it is different compared to other videos, but it's definitely something I will only watch once.See full review
Definitely a solid experimential video animation, but I don't think it has much substance to it. It is refreshing to see something unique like this, and I did enjoy the vibrant colors.See full review
The story is good but extremely confusing, super complicated and very hard to follow. You have to really focus and pay attention to every detail. Story jumps forward and backward in time and also jumps from character to character without warning. If you go along for the ride and don't try to hard to figure things out, you may end up liking it. Personally I don't mind a complex plot, I do mind clif hangers in the middle of an episode. For example: I know what happened to your body. Tell me now. Naw let's wait. Please! Okay I'll tell you. End scene and switching to brand new characters. Ugh. No thanks... See full review

So I was so against this anime in the first ten minutes of watching it and honestly without my friend compelling me to watch it I may have never gotten past that first episode. Right off the bat, I want to be clear that I have too many thoughts, both good and bad, for this not to be full of spoilers.
Erased is a show I watched because it was short and I'd heard some good acclaim. It's 12 episodes and 9 are actually pretty good. Not great. The first 9 have some issues, though admittedly if it ended strong i could look past many of them. It's never really explained why sometimes our main character, Satoru, has "revival" abilities that sometimes happen for no reason but sometimes he can will then into happening, and sometimes he just senses them, and sometimes there... At certain times the animation is so cool. Main girl is dippy and really into army accessories. She would flip during battle and have a blood lust for killing, then as soon as she went back to "herself" she became a nerdy, freaked out about everything little girl. As a main character, not very enjoyable. There is a ton of side characters that aren't very interesting without much depth but the story will follow them around for a while. Jack was the coolest but it doesn't really focus on him or his history until literally the last episode. I hated the people running the organization. Plus her... See full review

I was with it at first, but Ruka's existance ruined it for me. She's childish, annoying, and just all around trash as a character. If you value "cuteness" over personality, you might be able to get past it, but I gotta check out. I'm not about to torture myself when only one of the girls so far is actually enjoyable to see...honestly not only the best girl, but best character overall because this incel of a protagonist is the worst too, but I was able to tolerate him because the rest of the show recognizes he's a piece of shit and he's clearly going to grow. As the main character I can sit and... See full review
