This one, oh boy. It is about Kazuya Kinoshita who is about to enter college only to discover that his girlfriend Mami dumped him after dating him for about a month. Distraught over that, he discovers a rather shady app where he can rent a girlfriend. So, he ends up meeting the seemingly perfect Chizuru Mizuhara. After their first date, Kazuya, despite knowing that this was a job, grows suspicious of Chizuru and gives her a low rating. Which makes her angry. To make matters worse, Kazuya's grandmother collapses and she has the misfortune of meeting Chizuru, so they have to keep up the facade a... See full review
It follows the eponymous Hana Uzaki who is at first delighted to be at the same college as her classmate from high school Shinichi Sakurai. But when she sees that he has a rather mundane lifestyle, she decides to take it upon herself to hang out with him. I get that there was some slight controversy of the series because of some moral guardians being critical of Uzaki's design. If not for her...assets, she would easily be confused for maybe a high school or elementary school kid. Her being short not helping matters. But...the show establishes that she is a young adult as in reaching her 20s at... See full review
See full review
In my profile, i have just rated it 8 out of 10. that was just due to the fact that i like Terror in resonance more than dororo, and terror in resonance has 4.5 stars out of 5... This is my 3rd favourite anime ever! ending may seem like dissapointing but i think it would be more accurate to say the ending as unclear.See full review
(disclaimer: the mermaid sisters are my idols) almost all the music rocked my world, certified bops. the characters seem hugable, which i enjoy. PLUS some of them are non-binary and gay!! and of course, gay means hooray. and non-binary also means hooray (even if it doesnt rhyme). overall, likeable and entertaining, although i found myself occasionally cringing at the simplicity of the dialogue. even so, keep an open mind, i still finished it!See full review
Baki is an excellent anime, dont let the reviews of simpltons who probably grew up on rurouni kenshin or something gay colour you perception of this show. Understanding what this show is is essential to enjoying it, it is essentially pro wrestling in the form of an anime, it's a cycle of hyping up a battle and delivering the most intense showdown posssible. Dont go in anticipating an infuriatinlgy quirky audience stand in protaganist that learns about karate and self respect or something and you'll have fun.See full review
love this show so incredibly much both for the humor and how unironically great and impressive it was. otako reminded me of myself by the way the humor may not be appealing if you're not a girl so j so you knowSee full review
If you've already seen the series and you're looking to get your fix without the scourge that is recap.
24:50 is where recap stops
Start at 23:00 to enjoy the final scene of the series again ;) If you havn't already seen the anime... don't watch this movie, go back and watch the show AND THEN skip past the recap ;). I hope the guy who thought ~25 minutes of recap has a toilet clog out of the blue. (Can't really wish anything too bad... crime wasn't that evil... 0_0)

This had me crying at the first episode, the story is very well done and tugged on my heart strings. The fact that this only four episodes also adds to the story and how it is portrayed. In my opinion, I would class this as one of the saddest anime I watched, the way the story is explained and how the characters' emotions are shown are very well done and really helps to capture the emotions of the viewer! Safe to say I watched this a few month ago and it still pops up in my mind! Worth the watch.See full review
It was a great anime, they talk about this theme (germophobic) so naturally, and I like the interaction with the characters, is interesting to see his life and how he lives with it.
The amazing thing was the message they give to us than we can pass the problems and barriers of the world or our own ones.
If you play/played rock guitar on any serious level, had aspirations to just go for it and spent much time in bands, then you will appreciate this anime. They have the nuances, the lore, the romance and the vibe of it all captured well. While the rock tunes may seem dated its all the same in every era: Its about the passion and that is captured in Beck : Mongolian Chop Squad. Anyone who has gone through the process of learning and playing and has caught the bug and joined a band knows about the back stabbing deals, the letdowns, the promise and the drive that keeps it all going. From the guitars... See full review
This is a very educational but enjoyable anime that shows and explains how the cells in the body work on normal basis and for certain colds and diseases the body may be going through. Hopefully someone has not gone through every single thing shown, quite a lot for one body to deal with.See full review
Toradora! is best summed up by the saying' "You love her, but she loves him and he loves somebody else, you just cant win." Or so the song says...Toradora! is a comedy romance high school drama story that at first seems average but the character development soon has them endeared to you. The main female character named Tiaga is entertaining throughout and grows as the series progresses. The music OPs and closings are very catchy and keep you coming back. The drama builds and there are emotional moments that definitely connect and raise this from average to memorable. The English dubs are... See full review
Story 10/10: The story was amazing it was everything I wanted in a story and more. I liked the way it was a repeat of past life experiences which he had forgotten about. I can't describe the story with words alone so you will have to watch it to figure out why the story is so amazing. Animation 8/10: I liked the animation but nothing really stood out to me so I deducted point because of that. Sound 9/10: I likes the way they incorporated the sound into the series so smoothly you barely noticed the transition into background music. Characters 10/10: I... See full review

This show peaked my interest solely due to the fact that it's chinese animation. Something I've never seen before. If we are going just off of the visuals, its quite pretty. Something about it is different...I know nothing about art but the backgrounds look detailed and polished while the characters look pretty sometimes but a bit rough and flat compared to the background other times. I'm sure the budget was quite low so considering that its actually impressive how good the animation is at times. Like the fight scenes are pretty fluid, though they put this blur and shake effect on it that makes it hard to... See full review
This anime is good if you like violent anime because my god, it's quite violent. There's a good flow of the story, but the characters' actions can get extremely irrational. [Slight spoiler!] There was a character who became insane by looking at his crush's (?) dead body and I never really knew how he got insane since he seemed normal in the beginning unless his brain was messed up before. [End of the slight spoiler!] There is a small plot hole, but I doubt most people would think of it at first. The sound is good and clear, but it could get triggering since there would be... I really enjoyed this,,,and by enjoyed I mean that I had fun despite crying at almost every episode. This show isn't what I would normally go for, however, I gave it a go and was very pleased that I had a good time. The characters were interesting, the story was engaging and honestly, I just want to watch the second season already. I've already seen quite a few spoilers as to what happens but I'm sure I'll still have myself a spectacular time.
side note: I love you Levi, you are my badass boo. That goes for Mikasa too...and Sasha but her badassery is a different time; don't question...
This review will only cover the 178-episode series. | The Prince of Tennis is an interesting anime with interesting reviews about it too. People seem to either love it blindly or hate it religiously. As for me, I can understand both of those perspectives, and I'll explain both of them since there's a lot to this from my experience. Recently after finishing both Shokugeki no Souma (which I believe is a very similar anime to this one) and the popular sports anime Haikyuu!! I had decided to rewatch The Prince of Tennis… for the third time. Years later, and after watching many other... See full review
Story 8/10: The story is good but uncreative because it is based off a video game. I liked it a lot because I had yet to play the game but if I had played the game my opinion might be different. The story makes your mind think which leads to you feeling like your the detective your self. Animation 6/10: There was nothing outstanding about the animation, but I hated the judge room animations with the refutes and bullets it really changed the way I looked at this making me wonder why they did it. I guess it is their way though of keeping true to the game. Sound... See full review
This anime is a very interesting type of anime. I'd like to call it "smooth drama". Not so aggressive so you might find it boring in a way. The ending is one of those endings that makes you want to know what happens next. Almost like a teaser to a season 2, even though, I highly doubt that will ever happen! Overall, very slice of life/drama anime.See full review
Okay, I'm not good at making review but forcing myself to put this donghua into justice. This animation called donghua because it originated from China and the story based on a novel with same name. The novel is boy love but we know censorship in China so the animation become bromance. So Main Character (MC) is from a wealthy family while Male Lead (ML) is a orphan. They cross path when MC was kicked out from his family and ML sort of help him. Without any spoiler, ML protect him and MC help ML to recover from his mental illness. Both of them have different backgrounds but having trauma from... See full review
It's not bad, but certainly not the best. It's a type of anime I would watch if I was bored. Although it is both funny and cute! I do recommend it if your looking for a cute shoujo.See full review
Starts of in a seemingly mainstream but fun way. Got your typical High School setting, got your ghost hunting thing. But then...Protagonist is thrown into another world and THE rest of the series is just badass fighting. There are so many savage characters with awesome powers (Kenpachi, Ichigo, Byakuya, Mayuri, Gin Ichimaru...) Some time into the series there is a cool plot twist and one of the most epic anime villains gets revealed. But not only the main villain is great, so are the others. One of them is a nihilism incarnate and gave me personally very spooky vibes (ulquiorra). If you watch Bleach you... See full review
It's a generally good comedy anime, but I feel like the story of the anime could be better. There are serious moments, but they never get resolved and leaves the audience hanging. Also, the ending is a bit anti-climactic, but it's anti-climatic to include more funny moments. Most characters had a character development, so that's good for me, but their character development was expected. Watch it if you want a good laugh :))See full review
Unfortunately I am unable to give this higher than a 10/10. (Spoilers) The story is amazing, having a "live die repeat" and a "trapped in a video game" feel is appealing and never boring. The problems I usually face with anime is where the main character must live with a multitude of mistakes, and although this is also true for this anime, Natsuki Subaru is still able to fix his mistakes. While he is forced to live with the pain of his mistakes, he has the chance to fix the negative consequences of said mistakes by simply dying. He is very good at dying. The animation is very good. It... See full review

there's no way to understand this without reading light novels first. That is a failure as an anime medium. Concepts and characters from previous seasons are fair game. This pulled new things from nowhere without explaining them. The first two seasons were predictable but satisfying, but this went off the rails. Skip this. It pains me to say it but after watching everything in the continuum before it this show will only serve to muddle waters and leave you dissatisfied. By far this was the worst offering this franchise has, even having watched all the previous... See full review
So let's dive into this one (don't mind my puns) This is such a beautifully animated movie which i'm sure you are already aware of. But let's talk about the plot. If you enjoy some truly deep philosophical "what came first the chicken or the egg" content than you'd enjoy this film which complicates things a little "is the chicken an egg and if the chicken is an egg than what makes a chicken". Yeah a lot to process. Some people watch the film just to watch the beautiful animation which honestly is completely understandable. This movie has such a realistic setting that mixes in... PENGUINS!!! This movie is absolutely adorable and surprisingly the plot was pretty intricate. I expected a fairly simple "There are cute penguins in town and we will watch them be cute" but it was actually somewhat philosphical and deep. It's a really good "feel good movie" that will make you feel relaxed and whimsical and if that's what you're looking for than snuggle up in some warm blankets, get some hot cocoa and enjoy some fluffy penguins in amazing animation (really everything is so sparkly).See full review
Story 9/10: I found the story intriguing and unlike all the others I've seen before. There were things that you didn't see coming and things that just didn't make sense, but in the end that's what all stories are about. They excelled at showing the struggle to the end and pictured what would happen if this dodo happen perfectly as well Animation 9/10: Animation was very well done but I found the walking animation of characters to be annoying as they look robotic. Sound 8/10: There was nothing outstanding about the sound but I did notice that they slacked... See full review
I watched OPM season one as it was coming out and I really love this series, but I will say the switch of studios did make me hesitate to watch the second season. Some of the animation was wonky at times and a little lackluster compared to Bones (expected) and some of the sound for the fight scenes were just so weird and didn't even seem to match up with what you're seeing. HOWEVER, I still really enjoyed this season! It was kind of cool to get to see other heroes and their powers/skills. I would've loved more Saitama like in the first season, but that's how ONE made it, so can't complain too much about it... See full review
I burst into tears during the last episode, I haven't watched a lot of anime but this will be a hard one to beat for sure.
You should watch this, it's so beautiful and heart warming.
The story's beginning led me to believe we'd follow the romance between the main characters Taku and Rikako. An interesting chemistry was set in motion - how will Taku bond with the ostracized Rikako? (Spoiler-warning, I guess. Not that it matters.) tl;dr: Don't watch it. :) Story Wasted potential in short. I kept expecting a moment of "Aha! They like each other despite their differences!" But that never came. The intro where the school trip was getting cancelled felt like a waste of time as it was solved anyway (characters could be introduced in a shorter and more efficient way)... See full review
Damn this was stupid most things in the show never made sense and things that did were poorly explained, after this whole thing I needed to go to the Wiki to find out what was going on but it still didn't tell me like Rens past life and why nobody looks at him and thinks "Hmmmm now where have I seen him before." which doesn't make sense because the two he was around the most in his previous life have met him in the show. I was also always waiting for the moment all this made sense but it never came just an awful cliffhanger.See full review
The story was very unique and well written it had a lot of emotions, plot twists and relayed it very well, but as with all good stories their is always a small problem which can lead to a big one, in this case it's that it was too predictable and boring in some parts. Which for me was a bit annoying I'm talking about the end with the meet-and-greet we all knew it was coming but it still did relay it out well. Animation 9/10: The animation was spectacular, amazing in so many ways it was amazing at portraying people's emotions and it took care... See full review

my viewing experience was marred by two factors. One is that the app I used had the first ten episodes incorrectly listed, as in 15 was labeled 6 or something like that. The most important factor was that i was spoiled because some fucking pre pubescent shitbag on Reddit didn't mark a spoiler.
I'm on the ropes. It's not a good anime by any means but it's not horrible either. It's your average Mecha anime plus waifu wars but also a little bit more than that. I can see why it's popular and it's because of 02 Story: it doesn't know what it wants to be. Sometimes it can feel like your melancholic... See full review
Toda la serie funciona bastante bien y pese a que... i dont really write reviews, but this anime was very annoying. i wasted some much time on it, and it's not even worth it. first of all, he's very toxic. literally treats her like a dog, and so many things wrong with the way they act. second of all, she did all that, for what? to fit in society? i'd rather stay alone than get to this situation. i know so many people will say "this isn't real" etc. but it's very toxic and unreasonable.See full review
Tells the story of Maple, who plays the game in a way it was not meant to be played, and becomes one of the most powerful players. The thing is, that this too unrealistic. It's as if everything she does, everything is handed to her on a silver platter. It's too easy. And I LIKE Overpowerd anime too, but it needs to be done right. The story is too simple, everything is too easy, like there wasn't much thought put in. (She literally uses 1 skill on almost everything, and it always works). When you watch it, you literally feel your brain melting. Overall, it's great if you want to kill time, but if you want... See full review

Although the plot is continuous from start-to-finish, the story has so much squandered potential. I thought of two or three amazingly different ways that the plot could have unfolded. The characters are one-of-a-kind. Izetta, Fine, and Sieg really make the show. Animation is average and sound is pretty good. To keep things simple & straight, this review is part of a challenge I’m doing with my friend. Without the conditioning of this challenge, I might as well have dropped this anime for good. However, despite all ill ends or vices, I’ll give this anime the fair share of perspective it deserves.
The review will remain subjective until the very end & will contain minor spoilers. Fate/Extra Last Encore is a fantastic battle royale for a show but, what’s so devious about it ? Is it the slow-paced projection of a plot it offers, is it the... See full review

I've heard a lot about this, so my rating and opinion are because I overestimated it. First of all, it's only an hour long. Most of the dialogue is narration. I'm fine with narration, just as long as it doesn't take up the whole movie. And then the plot and story are really thin. I don't know how else to describe it. But I give it an 8 because it is still filled with those tender moments that make your heart just want to burst! That alone raised the score quite a bit, so if you're into that, you may just find this movie worthwhile. Not bad at all. Will I see it again? Possibly not. Will I recommend it to... See full review
