I'm from Asia, currently studying in Europe. I noticed that eastern and western countries have different preferences when comes to anime.
My favourite genres are slice of life, romance and comedy (and moe). I prefer modern moe art style (favourite studio: Kyoani). I don't like shows that is confusing, and I don't think unique = good. My rating depends on how much I enjoy the show rather than the meaningfulness of the show, to me, anime is a source of entertainment and is directly proportionate to how much I laugh through out the show and how fast I finish the show.
I'd really like to make friend with people of similar interest, so feel free to leave comments.
