I am so glad that I participated in the secret Santa event because this anime was recommended to me. I had heard a bit about Mob Psycho 100 before watching it - mainly that it's a good anime. After watching I disagree - it's not a good anime, it's a phenomenal anime. 

In my opinion, the characters are written really well. Mob is an awkward, easily manipulated high school student who is absurdly strong when it comes to his powers. He believes his master even though he's lying and isn't an esper. Reigen is really funny and brings situations to the next level. His "special skills" are basic things everyone can learn and the narrator saying it made me laugh multiple times. I do want to mention that Reigen didn't feel like he was there just for comedy's sake. He felt like an important part of the story that is there to actually bring something to the story and not just make viewers laugh.

The story is really interesting and never gets boring. While the art style is simple - it's phenomenally animated and fits the show. The music always fits the scene and is carefully left out in specific situations. It makes it seem like they put all their efforts into the anime and didn't slack off with any scene. I would rewatch it again and again and I would definitely recommend this anime to people who like watching anime with powers involved.
