Seemed like it had a lot of potential, but the execution fell short.

The overall premise seems like it'd be hilarious and heartwarming. The animation is fine, and the overall sound is fine as well. But the writing is... not bad, but off?

The scenes are weirdly paced. I was never hooked into or interested in what was happening. There's no build-up to anything, stuff just happens.

The characters also have premises that make sense, but for some reason, the writing just didn't hit the mark. The jokes weren't funny, the results of experiments were obvious from a mile away, and each episode ends with me feeling very underwhelmed like I could've spent my time better.

The side characters also don't add much to the story. One of the side characters sort of plays a role as a tsukkomu and gawks at the ridiculousness of the main characters. But it was never super funny. I just can't put my finger on why.

Tried to give it a chance, but I couldn't get past episode 5.
