I just finished watching this half of season four, and I really enjoyed it. There are so many moving pieces and can get very confusing sometimes, but it is obvious that the cliffhangers and secret information are given out the same it always has been. 

I came into this thinking I would despise Gabi but honestly . . . her and S1 Eren are almost identical. 

My BIGGEST issue with this is how little we got on how Eren got this way. Did he receive new memories? Did some horrible death cause him to shut down? I need to know why he would spend over a year (maybe 2??) in the country that he ends up completely demolishing on purpose, especially if he wanted a peaceful end to the lives of the Subjects of Ymir. I mean, moments before he transforms in front of Reiner, he says “we are the same.” Ugh, so much unknown. I understand there is more material coming out and that AOT is famous for their completely unpredictable plot twists, but jeez this kind of hole is hard to ignore for so long. 

The music seemed to be less hype for all the crazy that the show is, but still fit the theme of this season. 

Other that, I completely 100% enjoyed watching AOT, which is ultimately what I based my ratings on.
