Devil May Cry is an appropriate name for this anime, as it would bore Satan himself to tears. Who could destroy an anime about a Half-Demon, Demon-Hunter for hire? Madhouse? Yes Even the mighty, untouchable Madhouse puts out crap anime to score some dough. The one reason Why I struggled through the longest 12 episodes of my life, was Dante. The mc is cool, I will give DMC that much. There are a few good moments in this anime when Dante nonchalantly whips out the .45 to the sound of spanish guitars and make blood pudding. Other than that, Devil May Cry is a boring, crappy, episodic mess that feels like the worlds longest OVA for fans of the video game. Even Madhouse didn't give a crap about Devil May Cry as they put zero effort into the animation.

Summary: Avoid at all costs.
