Hey, President Trap-kun!

Aug 15, 2017

I don't even have to finish this to not go on a review point.  I am not the type to never rate something, but I feel this doesn't deserve a rating. I find it sort of tasteless and insulting that they would make an insulting animation to Trump and not to any other President.  they either hate the man or like the man, yet this parody insult, they seem to hate the man.

so basically Trump is a transfer student who can rap and be cruel and disgusting.  there is literally nothing else to say about this horrible work, it's Trump (Trap-kun) who faces school life, insult after pointless... See full review

Texhnolyze

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) I probably can't state enough all the accidental finds I can locate, I found this while I was watching late night tv once on one of the bonus channels.

Built deep inside the Earth, the experimental city of Lukuss became "The Abandoned City" as the surface world forgot about the city. Now its citizens live in desperate despair while gangs use violence and retribution to rule the city and control "Texhnolyze" an advanced technology that replaces human limbs with more powerful cybernetics! The fate of this world will soon be decided by four... See full review

The Secret World of Arrietty

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) Disney review coming your way!

Shō aka Shawn (in the American version) is a young lad who's parents are recently divorced and he's sick. He's going for surgery in the coming week and he is forced (give or take) to live with his Aunt Sadako Mak aka Jessica (in the American version) for a week due to his mother having to go out of town on business. Jessica is upset by this but there's really nothing she can do or say about it. Once there, Shawn meets up with the care taker of Jessica by the name of Haru who is suspicious of "little people". As Shawn... See full review

Ride Back

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) Premier Date: January 2009
Dubbed by: Funimation and appeared on their channel in July 26, 2011
Episodes: 12
Age Group: 14+
Contains: Violence, mild ecchi, perverted references and mild language Another "accidental" discovery which finally led to me just watching almost anything, regardless. Plot: In the near future, an organization called the GGP/GGF (GGP is an acronym for Global Government Plan/GGF is an acronym for Global Government Force) has taken control of the world. An up and coming ballet dancer suffers a serious injury while dancing and... See full review

Dead Leaves

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) 52 minutes of random fun there is no better way to explain this entire story. I would state that the rating for this one would seriously be for a strong 16+ I so would not let a younger one see this one without a doubt ! We got violence to the max, sexual references and can't forget the mild nudity throughout the whole entire thing, which we all know is the lovely ecchi tag ! Now with that out of the way, let's begin the review shall we? now keep in mind this is a VERY short anime, it felt longer due to the actual plot line. I once dropped this because I was dull by it, but... See full review

Tokyo Godfathers

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) I would possibly put this into a nicely found seasonal review. I was rummaging around in my old stuff the other day and I wanted to watch something with a Christmas atmosphere, so, last night I sat down and watched this. I had forgotten about how adorable this was. I would, most certainly and without a doubt label this as a dark comedy, there is mild ecchi so I would possibly put this into the teenager to young adult section, due more to the racist comments and mildly mature setting as well as mild violence. When I discovered this, it was on VCR, so it could possibly be one... See full review

Summer Wars

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) There is possibly no other way to explain this one other than an anime movie with the diversity of a little bit of everything, from romance, to slight slice of life, some dark situations, some comedy, scifi and above all else cuteness to the max ! Summer Wars is pretty much a film about a timid 11th grade math genius taken to a beautiful home in Ueda by a 12th grade girl to celebrate her great-grandmother's 90th birthday. The timid math genius also works part-time on a virtual site by the name of Oz, pretty much a virtual world that links the entire world together. In the end... See full review

Blood+

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers)

There is a live action movie to this along with an animated short film, Blood the Last Vampire.

Blood+ is about a girl named Saya Otonashi, who has been living with her adoptive family dealing with amnesia for a better part of the year. She does not know who she is, where she came from, or if she has a family or not. George Miyagusuku, her adopted father, who takes care of her, and also takes care of Riku Miyagusuku, the youngest of the adopted children of his, along with Kai Miyagusuku the "oldest", who often tells Saya nankurunasia. Millennium Actress

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) There is no better way to start out this review than to state, this anime has a very unique style to it. It is unique for it's style of a play within a play, or a movie within a movie. The movie begins with a filmmaker by the name of Genya Tachibana and his trusty camera man Kyoji Ida on a mission to find someone and do a long awaited interview on the greatest film star of all time in the eyes of many. This film star is Chiyoko Fujiwara, whom we meet as an elderly lady first off before she begins her tale of her grand adventure through life, who openly admits she doesn't talk... See full review

Outlaw Star

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) Outlaw star is a Space Western by trade, it's about an outlaw, not to be confused with a Pirate, by the name of Gene Starwind. Quite the perverted outlaw that seems to not have any trouble getting the girls, until he has the unfaithful encountering with three females aboard his ship, called, you guessed it The Outlaw Star, which the XGP’s artificial intelligence system has a name of Gilliam II, who later gets a makeover, but when Gilliam II asks Gene to name the ship he chooses the Outlaw Star due to the brief encounter with "Hot Ice" Hilda which helped him... Trigun

Jun 30, 2017

(Caution may contain spoilers) This is my fourth review, it is also of an older anime in nature, it was originally hand drawn for a time, until later when the movie came about it revolved around more digital.  this review will be with the movie and the anime series. As we all know the main character is Kuroneko-sama however any great actor would gladly give the love to the entire cast. Trigun is based upon a future world which is mostly desert. Suns and Moons which shine down upon the planet yet somehow humans live and still attempt to co-exist and survive. It's not really certain or mentioned... See full review

The Skull Man

Jun 30, 2017

(caution may contain spoilers) This was one of those anime that I basically bought without knowing much of anything about it other than what I read on the back.  trust me that never gives anything justice. Plot: Set in an alternate history of Japan, freelance photographer Minagami Hayato returns to his hometown of Ootomo to investigate rumors of a man wearing a skull mask committing murders there. Once in the city, he discovers connections between the victims and a local pharmaceutical company, a new religious sect, and strange half human, half animal creatures. Along with a young photographer, he... See full review

Cowboy Bebop

Jun 30, 2017

(Caution might contain spoilers) This is an older anime, but it's one of those classics out there.   I'm learning reviews and wish to start inputting them into the site, hope no one minds. As for the art style, it is mostly hand drawn, when the movie rolled around some time later it was more digital than hand drawn.  this is for both the movie and the series. Plot: Cowboy Bebop revolves around a crew of bounty hunters living in the spaceship named Bebop. They are a team of bounty hunters who travel the Solar System trying to apprehend bounties. Jet Black is the owner of the Bebop who has... See full review

Witch Hunter Robin

Jun 30, 2017

(Caution might contain spoilers) As one of my all time favorite anime I figured why not do my first review on this site with this.  Initially, the premise of Witch Hunter Robin is to hunt down and capture “witches” to keep society safe from the baddies they aren’t aware of. The story revolves around Robin, a 15 year old Craft user with a mean fire attack who grew up in a monastery in Rome under the watchful eye of Solomon Headquarters where she was taught to control her powers. Solomon is the worldwide organization that captures witches who have lost control of their powers and... See full review
