Girls' Last Tour

Feb 16, 2022

A very philosophical anime about two moe girls living in the literal apocalypse. There's no violence, almost no people left. It's just these two friends (sisters?) traveling through an abandoned city and questioning the meaning of their existence. Despite how depressing that sounds, it was actually really lovely. The two girls have a great dynamic with each other, and enough interesting things happen each episode to keep you engage. I super reccomend this one.

Sekkou Boys

Mar 15, 2017

Basically if you want to watch a joke of a show, this is for you. Its not always funny, and I didn't particularly enjoy or hate anyone from the show. Its really the gimmick that statues can be idols (and the sekko boys are not the only ones in the show, like they really milk this concept for all its worth). There was a joke at the end of episode 9ish that really got me, but that was also because it didn't match the tone of the show at all. Pacing was alright, but that was also because there isn't really an overarching plot. So it was ok. Doesn't take long to watch so feel free to watch it if you... See full review

Non Non Biyori

Jan 17, 2016

Non Non Biyori as the summary above suggests, follows Hotaru when she moves from Tokyo to a very small rural town. The anime focuses on her and three of her classmates over the course of one year. Overall, its cute, but was at times slow or boring to watch. I enjoyed the show most when I was doing something else while watching it.  Story: There's not much in the way of overarching plot. Each episode just highlights a moment during Hotaru's first year in her new home. Episodes were slow at times, especially the first few episodes, but I grew to enjoy the show later on.  Animation: Can't say I... See full review

Blood Blockade Battlefront

Jan 12, 2016

This is gonna short for now cuz I'm tired. But I've just finished the anime today and I can easily declare it my favorite anime ever. I suggest this to anyone and everyone, and am eagerly hoping there will be a season two.

Ouran High School Host Club

May 6, 2015

This won't be a good review because I honestly don't know what to say except I loved it. I didn't like the shoujo genre, still don't, but I love this. First off some complaints:  1) I wish the opening credit animation style was used in the anime every once in a while. Its a very neat style that I couldn't take my eyes off of. 2) It stops. At only 26 episodes. I know the manga goes further than the anime and I wish that the anime could have continued on. Reboot anyone? :) 3) *spoiler*  because I realize this might be an important thing for some, just skip to 4. . . . . . . . Haruhi... See full review

Baccano!

Apr 8, 2015

First review. Here we go. I didn't try to watch this anime initially. I had this on my to do list, but I probably wasn't going to get around to it for a while. So one day when I unexpectedly had an entire day free of school and work, I had intended to watch more of Fairy Tail. When the video wouldn't work for me, I randomly went to Baccono. And thank God I did. Story: (stealing the synopsis from this site because it is hard to describe it) "It's the 1930s, and Mafia groups fight for supremacy in American cities. Young Firo joins the secretive Camorra group; a meek street boy, Jacuzzi, finds himself... See full review
