I kept wanting to think of Shiro as a little girl instead of a little boy. But anyway, this little boy lives in an old-style town, pretending to be a stray cat running freely through the streets. A lot of the plot seems to consist of Ichii tracking Shiro down to make sure that Shiro has a place to stay for the night, and us seeing how all the townspeople love Shiro. Also, we see how Shiro has been able to find some happiness even though fe's clearly still affected by the trauma of feir mom abandoning fem. The fourth chapter feels a bit tacked on to the narrative sequence.
