It can be difficult for anybody to navigate matchmaking services and find a compatible partner. All the more so for Yuri--the Hero who spent feir entire life devoted to defeating the Demon King and bringing peace to the world--who never had time to develop hobbies or interests, has wacky taste in fashion, and has trouble reading the room and properly expressing feir emotions. Yuri goes on a journey to find a marriage partner who will love fem for feir kindness and earnestness and who won't just be interested in fem because fe's the Hero. Fe meets with several prospective marriage partners over the course of the series, ranging from people wanting to take adventage of fem to people genuinely interested in fem. Without giving any details away, there was one candidate who I felt was written off too early and should have played a larger role in the story. I would have even been happy to see fem end up as feir wife. And honestly, that disappointment in how fe was treated changed this manga from an 8/10 to a 7/10 in my mind (not a big change, but still...).
