Seven Days

Eek! This was absolutely adorbs! You know that feeling when the bottom of your throat feels full and you can't help but smile? I felt that multiple times while reading this. The author did an excellent job of creating a captivating premise and lovable characters. I'd rate the first volume as a solid 9/10 and the second volume as a slightly lesser 7/10. Those first five chapters were just delectable and fresh and entertaining. The last seven chapters were still good, but they'd lost that special something that made me feel giddy inside. At times, it felt more like the author was introducing misunderstandings and whatnot just to extend the storyline a bit further (in other words, the story wasn't structured as ideally as it could've been). I also fail to understand why Yuzuru tore up the tickets. That detail just feels like the author attempting to play with the readers' hearts and not actually something that would've made sense for the character to do.

Art-wise, the characters can be very thin and stringy and misproportioned. The largest difference between the two main characters is the shade of their hair, and there were a few panels where I initially misidentified who was being portrayed. I do like the artwork though, for the most part.

8/10 story
7/10 art
9/10 characters
8/10 overall
