The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten

Feb 25, 2023

I really like the novel and the anime isn't that bad in comparison. BUT  I'd really like to murder the producer for their song selection.

The Daily Life of the Immortal King 2

Nov 9, 2022

Long story short: First season "oh wow way better than expected" - second season "oh wow way worse than expected" You can watch it but if you skipped about half the episodes it wouldn't matter to the story. Most of the season is just time filler and then at the end it begins and quickly ends the story arc.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear

The protagonist Yuna is less violent than in the source and everything is cleaner. Further the anime doesn't follow the source in detail but more roughly. It's not a bad anime but it would seem it's more for a younger audience than the novel. If you want to watch something where it seems bad things happening is impossible, this may be exactly what you're searching for.

By the Grace of the Gods

Nov 16, 2020

If you read the light novel previously don't watch this. The first few episodes are like a lovey dovey diabetes and nothing like the novel. When you compare both you see the anime as too clean, too fixed on a possible love relationship between Ryouma and Eli and later on just too different - there are even changes who did what, the battle in the mine is nothing like in the novel, etc The anime is only worth watching if you didn't read the source and you like story's which are sweeter than honey. Unfortunately even then the dialogs are imho contrived.

Calamity of a Zombie Girl

Nov 12, 2020

As horror anime I really don't know if this is their serious approach. At least the boss fight at the end is really more of a comedy routine.

The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?

Jul 2, 2020

In short it's like kenja no mago but without disappointment Why would you ask? Because nobody thinks there could be any excitement  For everybody who wants to know more: Protagonist is a overworked corporate slave who falls "asleep" and is suddenly a 5 year old boy. At first he seems like he has some ambitions but after learning magic from a dead court magician he just does everything others want him to do.  After some minor progress he is engaged and shortly thereafter he is a fully developed harem protagonist (with obligatory obliviousness)

Infinite Dendrogram

Apr 2, 2020

Kinda annoying this show. The protagonist starts after everone else and defeats everyone while he is still low level. Most of the characters don't feel real - they tried their best to explain the background of some major characters but in the worst possible way (maybe the characters are this bad in the light novel but I don't know yet) Franklin the antagonist feels pretty much like "I just want to destroy things because somebody is better than me" (oh you know this? Yeah it's pretty much like that annoying brat in star wars episode 7) Hugo is the typical "I want to do something good"... See full review
