You're on point about the misogynist's wet dream part. I also read almost four seasons wondering how it was possible that it was getting worse.
The male lead was the worst, and it felt like she was just enduring him to make up for having wronged him in her past life. The story seems to hate women at the same time as writing the most dislikable men, it's surreal trying to read it.
