I'm seeing a lot of tens and nines... I don't agree. Evaluating art is hard and quite subjective. However, I do think at a certain point a story can cross the threshold to become "High Art". I Was the Final Boss, is without a doubt shlock that'll never attain such a title. It is unashamedly created to make a quick buck. From the story to the art, it's all of low quality. It was probably rushed to meet a deadline. Nonetheless, I did have fun reading it. The writing is lazy and unoriginal, don't expect the unexpected you won't find it here, instead, it's all cliches and tropes already milked to death from the genre. The art is actually awful. The characters look unfinished and lacking detail. Oh and with the backgrounds you'll be lucky to find the awful 3d shared assets, instead most of them are either white or a fade of colors.
