I've been watching anime ever since I can remember; the lame kiddie ones that were on TV like Saint Seya, DBZ, Sailor Moon etc. I'm not ashamed though, and I'm still quite fond of all of them, however, I wasn't aware of what anime really was by then. One day, when I was about 13 or maybe 14, a friend of mine dragged me to an Anime Convention with her (Omake '02) and that was when I finally learned what anime and manga is. Ranma 1/2 was the first anime I watched fully aware that what I was watching wasn't just a cartoon. A little after that I started buying the manga and then I was completely hooked. And that's the story of how I've been into anime for the greatest portion of my life -____-;~~
