Hero Mask

Mar 22, 2019

Hero mask is an anime on netflix that is a sci-fi thriller with a ton of action. You are taken on a ride with prosecutor Sarah Sinclair and SSC agent James Blood as they unravel the truth behind a shady company and the bio masks they are creating. When a supposedly dead convict shows up very much alive and wanting blood and a prosecutor ends up mysteriously dying they decide to plunge themselves into a case that turns darker by the episode. I am not the best at giving synopsis on things but I tried my best. The anime's plot is a unique one that is honestly quite interesting. I enjoyed the exposition, and... See full review

Tokyo Ghoul:re 2nd Season

Feb 21, 2019

The third season of Tokyo Ghoul is a season that should have had a bit more planning. While the world itself is so vast and interesting they lacked in many places on trying to convey that. Each episode left you with more questions. You are transitioned somewhat seamlessly into the 2nd season of :Re however you are left confused and wanting more. It did not make me sit on the edge of my seat like the first season nor even held my interest as much as the second season. This one was by far the worst and disappointing. While the world was vast and held so many possibilities it's execution was extremely lacking... See full review

Tokyo Ghoul:re

Feb 20, 2019

The second season of Tokyo Ghoul has is a very fast paced anime that focuses on the main character of Haise who is the leader of the Qs squad which is a half breed collection of teenagers who fight off the enemy; ghouls. The anime itself is incredibly fast paced and lacking in many places, while the first season seemed more like a full set this seems to feel rather empty. It's missing some star qualities in it's story that should have been addressed. If they took it slower instead of trying to rush through the whole arc then perhaps it would have been better. Instead they rushed it through what seems to be... See full review

Tokyo Ghoul

Feb 20, 2019

Tokyo Ghoul season one is a uniquely strange rollercoaster that makes you hang on to your seat. It is a new spin on a mix of zombies, and vampires themselves in what is called ghouls. They are zombie like creatures only in the fact that they feed off of the flesh of humans and any other food they eat makes them sick. Vampires as in they keep their sanity about them and thirst for the blood of humans and ghouls alike. However, if you feat upon the flesh of a ghoul you receive serious repercussions. The anime focuses on Ken Kaneki who is an average college school student who ends up going on a date with a... See full review

Ghost Hunt

Feb 19, 2019

I managed to watch this anime in about 2-3 days which is a triumph for me since I don't watch anime as often as I use to. The anime is a lovely nod to the extreme of paranormal and spirits which is quite lovely. There is no real plot other than the group going to help people who are haunted or possessed. There is only minor character development which made me a bit sad but their personalities are what made them who they are. You have the grumpy naru and the quite loud and caring Mai who can be quite annoying at times. However, despite her being annoying at times I couldn't stop watching. Each case was... See full review

Yona of the Dawn

Feb 19, 2019

I loved this anime though I do wish there will be another season. They left it a bit open. I would love to find out what happens next with the group now that they have the final piece. Besides that it's a beautiful done anime that kept me wanting to watch and thinking about it when I couldn't.  The animation is beautiful other than the small things which every anime has. At one moment a hand looked way smaller than it should, that made me pause to giggle but it's hard to do things like that so I am still respectful since even if the hand was smaller than it should they fixed it in the next shot and it... Danganronpa: The Animation

Feb 19, 2019

Being a person who played the game I knew the plot already but it still made me feel at times like I was playing the game. Sometimes I was leaning forward wanting to hit the action points to break holes in peoples accusations then quickly realized that I was watching the anime, not playing the game. If you haven't played the game then I think you would enjoy it a lot more going into it with a fresh mind. However, those who have played the game understand it more and get to enjoy the anime in a way others won't. The plot will keep you guessing though some parts might be a tad predictable. It'll keep you on... See full review

Orange

Feb 19, 2019

This anime is short, sweet, and heartbreaking. Sure, the plot has a lot of holes and things weren't really fleshed out as much as it should have been but that's not what keeps you watching. The main character is shy, awkward and at times a bit annoying. However, she's also relatable if you have similar issues with anxiety and shyness as she does. She doesn't realize how brightly she shines simply because she's always putting herself in shadows of her friends. Everyone has their own unique personality and they all fit together almost perfectly. The story is typical, the plot is a bit one dimensional but it... See full review
