Story relitively mediocre. Posta apocolyptic with one or two cyberpunk elements. I think my favorite character was the Guardian. The only reason I watched it untill the end was so that I could see if aliens, a secret orginization or a gov/military orginization did it on purpose or accident. I did not like how the lend left me dangling. characters enigmatic sophia who calmly accepts everything going on. How can anyone think she is not suspect. She knows to much. Johny - I am so surprised he is still psychologically functional - had the title of Menotor and Inspirational character. Wakaru - Rambo, er I... See full review
This is a series of four stories taken from classical Japanese Literature. There is a commentator we see at the beginning of episode three who introduces the authors and presents the philosophical theme for each story. Story No Longer Human How does a human live? It’s a useless attempt anyway ? Why? This work represents the author and his inability to be able to ‘get along’ with people. There is a certain malaise attached to the main character who believes, for one reason or another that he is not human. The reasons behind this belief are explained, explored and looked at. The... Story omz a GIANT FISH... and an EYE ! I'm sure they are oozing deep symbolism, reasonably sure at any rate. It starts off, just pulling you allong for the ride. As I staed for the review in the prologue, I will say again here, this was made for fans of the Manga. If you don't know anything about the manga, you should probably look it up. I started reading the manga a long time ago and never finished - I dont remember why. I was probably just really confused. In ep 4, you get a short explination as to what is going on. For the most part these 'files' are like little windows to the manga. I remember... See full review
Story there is nothing remotely resembling a story here, these are not the droids youa re looking for, move allong. animation kinda...off putting actually sound midly disorienting characters Im pretty sure we see both Cibo and Killy here.... though this gives away absolutely nothing about them Overall: I gave it a really good rating for a seemingly negitive review. I don't mean any of this to be negative, but I think it needs to be stated before someone stumbles on this and decides to watch it. I dont really think any of BLAME! should be watched with out reading the manga (which I... See full review
Story unless you have read the manga or looked this up, you will have no idea what is going on at all. This is very short, however it is visually packed. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk and I love william gibson - so this is right up my ally. our lead character falls...for a time..... and it just made me think of Major Tom.... There are explosions and fights, metal and concrete. There is a lot of space, and no one else is around.... animation a mix of 2d, 3d cgi and what not makes this a visually stunnign experiance sount: very tense - not in a bad way, it makes you edgy while you watch, which is what... Story: There is a serious problem. It’s called tedious mediocrity. This isn’t even a good who done it. When reading the description, I thought oh, this is going to be interesting! Maybe I expected more surrealism, more mystery, or…something. My first question was: If we can use this magical MRI to ‘see’ a person’s memory, why can’t we hear anything? That distracted me for the entire duration of the show. My other issues was that each episode a full case. The most you get is the occasional 2 ep story arc. For a good mystery, in order to get involved... See full review
Love, sweet love/ REVENGE. There is a bit of a twist in this whole love bit that I mention in my journal. It may look like I'm babbling out of my ass and just saying whatever fell out, but seriously - that kind of stuff happens in real life. This is why people go insane. the other part of the story - aka the back drop of LOVE/REVENGE of Saya and Fumi (I know its fumito, but I really like fumi better) is explained through the conversations of the new characters ie that 'the youth of today are being stifled' WE HAZ HACKERZ ! So there is a lot of censorship, a lot of unnecessary curfew laws and a bunch of... See full review
Story: If you are looking for something similar to Blood+ you will be disappointed. This anime, from what I can tell, takes place after Blood: The Last Vampire and 'reinvents' the story. If you go in to this thinking that it is going to be about Saya and her discovery of her origins and the complications it brings as she attempts to 'save humanity' and 'battle vampires' you will find this sadly lacking. I think most people did just that, especially after reading reviews and comments. This anime's premise is not about 'fighting vampires' or even 'monsters' it explores the question 'who are you' and 'what... See full review
