Unfortunately, I haven't watched a lot of Aria since I got it. I've been busy, and haven't had it by my side. The anime I've been watching is usually over the internet, which is slightly more portable. I've watched a little Tentai Senshi Sunred, and an episode of Kobato (the manga is a lot better so far, for me). I read more manga than I watch anime, though. I read something about every day. It's hard for me to sit down and watch episodes, though as it seems so daunting... Plus, I bought the entire series of Daria (which my friends who have no knowledge of Daria thought I was saying Aria, and they said I already had it...)...

So what have you been reading or watching that you like, lately?

I've seen the pic, I think, but not the artbook. I look forward to the origination, but yeah, I usuallly like 'a day in the life' more than the story episodes. Maybe. I'm not sure. I love it all.

I'm so picky with anime that I kind of am forced to put different seasons on there, as there haven't been a lot that I've loved, and I only stick with the genres I usually enjoy. Maybe the day will come when I'll love ten different series, as I'm fairly new to anime. Well, I took a break off of anime after seeing so many ones I didn't enjoy.

I hope your finals go well. :)

Okay. I finished Aria: The Natural and was quite pleased with the series as a whole. It's my new favorite series. It was a really special season, full of a lot of great moments. I see why it's your favorite, too. I can't wait to get started on The Origination.

I finished two more Aria (the Natural) episodes (it's only been a whole week), with one more to go. Once I'm done, it'll take the top spot on my list, I think. It is awesomeness. I can't wait to watch the extras...

That's true about American comics (especially Marvel), though my favorites always seem to stay dead... T_T No point in reading if I don't enjoy reading the living ones.

I forgot to mention this before, but your signature looks very nice. :)

You're right about death being a tool to tug on people's emotions, but often it's not one of the most important characters (except maybe in a movie), as a show is usually concerned with keeping the main character's fans from abandoning the show. Clannad at least goes for a main character. As for Fuuko (Fuko?), she's my favorite, but I didn't get too emotional about her story. My friend kept telling me I would cry, and about the details of her story, so it didn't effect me perhaps the way it would have it was a surprise. I must admit that I stopped reading Marvel comics because my favorites kept dying... Sigh...

I agree about Aria being relaxing. I just instantly get into that Aria feel when I put it on, and I usually can't help but smile whenever it starts. It has to do with the music and the imagery, for me, and then the story builds on that feeling of warmth. I really enjoy Barcerolle. That song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it, and that gets me, because it's simply made up words.
