I'm glad you liked it better in the end. The ending of Princess Tutu is one of my favorites. I love that they gave a happy ending to the less expected characters (Rue was my favorite...), and still ended it tragically, and not like most expected, even though that sense of tragedy is throughout the series. It actually ends differently in the manga (which I haven't read), for a more traditional ending, so I'm glad they went in a different direction for the anime.
I apologize for not like Chiaki, but... Woo... She's one of the few characters that have made me drop a series, unfortunately. I agree with you about male harem leads. They're usually the most devoid of personality, or any attractive traits. But every female can't resist. Go figure. I'm reading the manga of Shugo Chara slowly as my friend purchases it, and then I borrow it. About the only thing I don't like is that the male preteens are all in love with the heroine. But, oh well. I did find the males transforming to be pretty interesting, though. It's magical boy, too. XD
Not much new with me, but I'm doing fine. I've been sampling early episodes of Working!! which I like moderately. I really want to get started on Sketchbook *full colors* as several recommend it for Aria fans. I guess it's by the same company, and has a similar slice of life, slow-paced, charming, cat filled sense. I want to see if I agree with that sentiment. :)
Alice being promoted first also surprised me. I did figure that Akari would be last so it would be closer to the finale/in the finale, though. I'm not sure why I liked Natural best. I think it hooked me in faster than the Origination, and had more touching moments for me, in general. I didn't love the fantasy elements, but it wasn't in every episode, so I dealt with it.
As for what's next... I'm not sure. I'll probably finish up the series I've been watching before starting something new. I was leaning toward Hidimari Sketch, though.

Hi, litokid. I'm just messaging to inform you that I have now completed Aria the Origination (yay!). I really did enjoy this series, as well. So the official ranking of the three seasons is: Natural, Origination, Animation. It took me a few episodes to get into this season, but once I did, I really enjoyed the episodes and stories. I'm not sure which episode was my favorite, but I really enjoyed the one where Al and Aika got trapped at the bottom of the well, as well as Alice's promotion. I felt it was a satisfying conclusion to the story (though, what was up with Akari's hair in the final scene o_O).
