Ive watched a ton of the usual shojo and shounen anime these past few months. This left me with a need to watch something more mature and intriguing. ACCA 13 was not on my radar. I (by complete accident) started watching it. And i loved it. Its really interesing and fun to watch. Especially if you love worldbuilding and intrecate imaginary politics. The animation itself is pretty stylish. If you liked how Carole & Tuesday looked, im sure you will like ACCA 13 too. The best way to go into this anime is to know nothing about it and just start watching. Im so glad I gave it a chance. Hope you will too!

A bit of a dissapointing watch. If you are hoping for a fantasy dad/daughter fluff, well.... you will get that  but it wont be as fulfilling. The premise and quite a few things within the story held so much potential. It all leads to basically nothing. I wouldnt bother watching this unless you have already went through all single parent/childcare/etc. anime. Also the whole anime becomes kinda uncomfortable when you find out that the main character married and had children with his "daughter" in the original work.

Wonderfully animated and directed. Its a nice anime but I feel like it didnt really capture the same deepness of the original work. It was interesting and weird at the same time. Very thought provoking. The second part of the story could have been executed better.  If you would like to see something unusual and maybe something with mythological/folkloric undertones, this is for you.

Slice of life anime with LGBT+ themes.  Main characters are trans or gender non-conforming.  Its slow paced and highschool drama packed. I loved the realistic portrayal of children questioning their gender/orientation. Also nice but brief adult LGBT+ rep.  Very thought provoking.  Art, animaton and sound are alright. The characters are the main selling point of this anime.  Id recommend reading the manga after watching this.
