About me: I am an artist, forced to play the IT geek from time to time to survive and make ends meet. I love cats and I am a lady so I know what my future lies ahead...
Europe is my playground and I share my time between London and Barcelona. I'm a total manga addict but I haven't read most of the legendary ones yet... I am a fan of ShounenAi / Yaoi (I might review them the most) but I read anything as long as I am hooked after the first chapter.
My story with... ANIME Before discovering Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited away, Most of the animes I had seen were when I was a kid were on french TV (French dubbing sucks it's official) at my parent's house where I grew up. The second I watched was Grave of the Fireflies and after that I couldn't stop. I can't remember them all... but it's like food. Sometimes you crave for something really foody and since you can find it you stuff your face with junk... Then i will lie and say it's accidental. It's oK I'm very forgetful. If you stink I forget about you and out of shame, I might not admit I consumed you.
My story with... MANGA When I discovered mangas, it was accidental and I got hooked. To me, any manga addict who would play games and do some cosplay was a freak (little did I know!!!!)
And then one day... out of complete boredom, I opened a manga that had been left in a hotel lobby. It had no translation, it was in japanese. Well, opening that book was like winning the lottery. Besides the fact that I was looking at it the wrong way, and that I couldn't understand a thing, the art, the expressions, the look, the work and everything about it was magical. I left the next day but didn't dare to take it with me and I don't know which one it was... I am still looking for it. Will I ever find it?
My reviews are a real reflection of what the author/artist make me feel. Yes it's personal obvisouly but it's also based on facts... I always add some stuff like best underware (or outfit if non appicable), best friend, best line, best reaction, best position and best food. And I always try to not spoil anything for someone who hasn't read or watch yet.
