Anime listed in the top 500 of A-P's Top Anime list that either 1) have been “watched” by fewer than 15,000 users, or 2) is a currently airing series that is being watched (“watching”) by fewer than 15,000 users. A list for people who want to watch anime that is well-rated but under-watched. Excludes sequels, OVAs, non-stand-alone movies, and music videos. As of January 20, 2023. Sorted in the order of rating (high to low). For reference, FMAB which represents one of the most watched anime and is at around rank one (in rating) has 147k “watched”. Anime marked as 15k “watched” *hypothetically* (obviously not necessarily) means that it has been watched by only 10% of those who watched one of the most watched and highest rated anime.

That doesn't render this list completely useless considering that there is no other indicator as of yet.
Of the 3.5m members on A-P, 147k (4%) have watched FMAB (as of the end of November 2023).

Lots of under-appreciated stuff here. happy to see Yuru Camp, Ascendence of a Book, Kids on the Slope, 86, and a few others included. Recently saw MDUD which was engaging, and I'm interested in some off the rest of the list.
