Watamote? More like watamot-eh

Things I liked

• The animation was great and Tomoko's design reminded me of generic magical girls which contrasted the themes of the show nicely.
• The soundtrack was well made and I'm probably going to put the OP on one of my playlists.
• The character ideas were intresting.

Things that made me drop it

• The lack of plot progression and character development makes for a very unengaing anime.
• Seriously, every episode has the same structure and has a very minor/no effect on the next episode. The best way I can describe it is as an adult cartoon with the audience engagement expectations of a kids show.

Final opinions

I can understand why people relate to Tomoko's character and therefore like the anime as a whole. But if you don't then you probably won't enjoy it. 

For me, Watamote is very eh (as suggested by the review's title). I have no feelings about it apart from mild annoyance that I didn't spend my time warching something else.

But hey if you want something to veg out to go on ahead.
