This Shounen-ai captures the struggles of being an idol and also shows realistic problems (ie. coming out, trauma), but I think some are not resolved. One of the highlights of this series is that the characters are so realistic and human. Each character has a backstory to tell. Each character shines, yet if they're not in the spotlight, they drown in their own flaws and insecurities.

The art is absolutely breathtaking and the story is great as well! It was so frustrating to wait for Yunjuan and Aoyue to realize and confess their feelings for each other, but once they finally did, it was so worth the wait! We can see how their relationship progressed from rivals, friends, and when they became lovers. I love that they are each other's support systems and IB's adorable friendship.
