A surprisingly enjoyable action story revolving around a mysterious group of people who have started showing up with superhuman traits. Sprinkle in some gratuitous violence, gore, and a dash of "big anime tiddies", and you've got yourself an enjoyable read.
Story: There's a lot to take in with this one. It definitely touches on a lot of traditional Action anime/manga tropes, up to and including multiple plot twists that try really hard to be unpredicatable. The unfortunate part, though, is that the twists are either still entirely too predictable, or so far out of context that they feel like they were conjured up on the spot. Beyond that, however, there is quite a lot of meaty plot to enjoy here with a fairly unique and interesting 'powers' system.
Art: Beautifully detailed environments and characters with a spectacular flair. My only real complaint is that it often becomes difficult to tell which character is performing which actions in a given panel due to the fact that several character designs are quite similar, and the artist has a flair for leaving out shading elements or covering up elements with action lines during intense scenes.
Characters: Amusing characters with distinct personality traits and relatively detailed backgrounds that drive their actions and motivations. My only real problem with them is that they seem a bit over the top, but I won't fault the author for that when it's pretty much a staple of the genre.
Overall: A very enjoyable, but somewhat by-the-books action/ecchi manga with all the trappings that come with the genre. If you're here for a story revolving around powers that doesn't care for censorship, you're in the right place.
