Story:

The story was alright, about an ex-idol still trying to find her way in Tokyo a few years after her idol days came to an end. I didn't like any of that idol stuff. I think the work life and laundromat aspects were alright, but anytime the idol topic came up I really just wasn't interested. Otherwise, most of the story was about Yukino and Setsuko's relationship, how it develops and how they make it work. I like that the entire story wasn't just a buildup to a final confession, but rather a lot of realistic issues that come from a new relationship, especially one between two girls.

Art:

I really didn't like the art. The side profiles really upset me, and a lot of the characters looked the same. I think it was supposed to have a cute, soft look to it, but it just didn't do it for me.

Characters:

The characters were initially bland and annoying. Especially Yukino. She seemed selfish and narcissistic yet too naive to realize this until it was spelled it out for her. And  Setsuko seemed plain and withdrawn at first, too, and it didn't seem like the two had any chemistry. But about halfway through it was like a switch had flipped and the characters finally improved. They had more depth than before and were actually able to change for the better.

Overall:

This was a cute story of an adult romance (definitely josei! why is it marked seinen?). I liked when they discussed real issues and fears about love, and I liked when the characters noticed their faults and dealt with them. However, the plot seemed to drag at times, and often the leads would go in circles when addressing their relationship. A good manga, but I don't think I'll red it again.

6/10 story
4/10 art
8/10 characters
6/10 overall
